We feel extremely fortunate to have been directed to Drain Mob (from our inspector) during the purchase of our new home. We had old 3 inch Cast Iron pipes that were on their last legs and a backed up septic to boot. A septic company came in and located and pumped our tank. After that Drain Mob was able to come in and line our pipes with Epoxy, eliminating the need to tear up the concrete in both bathrooms to re-pipe. Drain mob was quick, efficient, attentive and informative throughout the entire process. It turns out, they have also taken care of many of our neighbors--not too shocking as many of these homes are of the same era and the pipes are 3 inch cast iron. We have been having ongoing issues with the drains in kitchen and tub being backed up and have tried all home remedies and preventative methods to no avail. After being extremely frustrated plunging and snaking to no avail, sent an online inquiry Sunday night and Monday morning had a response with estimated quote. This is a long overdue review. It's been a couple of months since they fixed our root problem. I forgot all the names but there was a guy on the phone who seemed to be the boss. He made me feel like my problem was very important to him...I like when businesses treat me that way:) I was not even the one paying for the job...my landlord was. So A+ for making me feel like a valued customer. Next, there was the guy who came to fix the toilet (different from the guy on the phone). He was on the young side so I was a little worried. The plumber we have used for years (Universal Plumbing) recommended using the Drain Mob to clear drains. That was an excellent recommendation. I have used them several times and they were very responsive, pleasant to deal with, professional, and reasonably priced. I particularly liked that I was able to have them clear a drain at an apartment building complex without my presence. The Drain Mob was able to interface with the tenant via text message to be allowed entrance through a security gate and to clear the drain. Had numerous problems through the years with home built in 1962. We had Drain Mob out 3 times (in a short period of time ) prior for different area clogs in this rental property. Finally, the last technician advised It was finally time to resolve the real problem. The initial inspection resulted in some extensive work to be done but would resolve all the issues that had been costing money to unclog drains many times throughout the years. I moved into a 100 year old house in Escondido and we had issues with both our old 4" cast iron sewer line, and a horrible stench coming from the bathroom. They ended up having to chain (clean off the old rust and roots in the sewer) and then line it. For the stench, they did a smoke-test and found the old galvinized pipes in our bathroom for totally corroded so the sewer smell was pouring into the house. They were able to resolve both issues perfectly. It's not cheap for sure, but their pricing was right in line with others I had look at the problem. It's pretty great when you find a trusted plumber that you can count on for an honest appraisal of the situation. We had a main line blockage and we knew that. We were afraid we were going to have to dig up the back yard from stories we had heard, possibly looking at thousands. We have a 75 year old Italian Stone Pine in our back yard so felt pretty nervous. We called three other plumbers and from the first phone call to Drain Mob with efficient scheduling to the end result we were so confident with this company. He assessed the situation and said we would do well to go with hydro jetting to clear any roots and not damage the line. Lowest price, plus good first impression, great service over the phone and communication skills, good ratings on the internet - Sure! The day comes, and Joey from Drain Mob arrives, right on time. Guess what! Drain Mob doesn't dick around and give you a 2-hour window when they *might* show up! THEY MEET YOU ON TIME! AMAZING! Joey was super cool, another real human being, being real honest about everything. He complimented my toilets - thanks man B-) Seriously, he educated me all about cast iron drains, how the city builds their drainage, how terra cotta pipe is awesome, how root intrusion happens, what toilet papers you should and shouldn't use....
