My daughter and I came in to celebrate her 21st birthday and they did not serve her alcohol because she hadn't gotten her horizontal id in the mail. the light fixtures that we ate under were absolutely filthy. Our server was so fake and talking crap about us the whole time , the food was decent but very over priced, I will never return to this restaurant again. read more

Came with two girlfriends, and really enjoyed our night! Wanted to give another shoutout for AWESOME server Megan who not only was kind, funny and "on top" of her very busy section, but was so thoughtful about things we wanted or needed, great at recommendations and asked if we wanted to split the check at the end. Vibe is laid back, but the place is nice. Not the super casual (dumpy/divey) that you sometimes get at the beach. Food was excellent - both the decadent (chicken sammie and fried pickles) and healthy (garden salad, side salad and veggie of the day.) Also LOVE that they had a Brussels sprouts of the day! (Ours were pomegranate goat cheese - YUM.) My dinner companions loved their bourbon cocktails - both the fancy (Islands in the Stream) and classic (Old Fashioned). They REALLY know their bourbon - and honor the craft cocktail AND the connoisseur who prefers to take it neat. The piece de resistance was the cookie ice cream sandwich. Delicious restaurant, it was easy to tell our server was new and stressed but he was still super friendly and we enjoyed our food and drinks. If you happen to go on the vegetable of the day is green beans you won't be disappointed. A Malibu Baybreeze isn't a drink on the menu however they were more than happy to make us them and it was by far the best I have ever had. read more

After struggling to find somewhere that has something other than seafood we stumbled on Dry 85.. Let me tell you it was worth it!!! I know we are on an island and don't eat seafood.. Hard to find a nice place to get a steak but this is the spot if you aren't looking for seafood. Not overly expensive either. We got 2 filets and each an adult beverage and walked out at just over $100 INCLUDING the tip! The steaks where cooked perfectly and if came with 2 sides. They limit drink menus to one per table and it's a vast menu. Not very accommodating w menu item substitutions. The food was hit or mess. Enchilada soup was akin to poor mans chili. Not a very imaginative menu. Hot tator tots is their app special if that tells you anything. Cheese Grits are grossly under seasoned and they just put cheese on top at end. Ossuboco was outstandingly but also lacked salt. Decor is nice but save your money and go somewhere else. read more

Not bad for OC. The food here was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The portion was just right, not too much or little. I got the strawberry mango white wine sangria, and it was refreshing and well mixed. I highly recommend this place if you want good, tasty food. read more

I am an Annapolis native (would recommend if you visit). Ocean City's Dry 85 has the same SERVICE and QUALITY for what I'm used to. I HAD to try it. Obviously I know the bartenders in Annapolis very well but I still felt like home here. Mason made me and my uncle phenomenal old fashioneds. Kelly was also super friendly. I'm not sure how else to explain this place other than you will have the SAME service at DIFFERENT locations. They really do a great job of managing these bars. Just got into OC and decided to go to Dry 85. Salad dressing was not good! Food was mediocre We just had the blueberry ribs and they were good ! Drinks are very unique and fabulous. I do like their drink selections Our waitress was great, very very good but for a restaurant fairly new and trying to make it their manager Shane is not cutting it He sits at the bar, drinking, looking at phone and talking to bartender. Pros: The Service. Our waitress Kara W was extremely friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu and extremely attentive. Kara deserves 5+ stars for her service. Cons: The food. Dry 85 must also be a nod to the food not just the bourbon. We ordered the fries for an appetizer which would have been great if they had allowed a drop of oil to remain on the fries for the garlic and Parmesan to stick to. All the seasoning was at the bottom of the bowl. My husband and older son ordered the Brunch Burger medium and medium well, they were beyond well done and bone dry. The egg on the burgers were well done too so no added moisture there. My younger son ordered the wings with Carolina BBQ sauce... barely any sauce and dry. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich.... dry as a wood chip. The sauce on the sandwich got soaked up in the bread which was so dry it crumbled. The sliced tomato did help a little but wasn't enough. I suggest asking for extra sauce or an extra slice of tomato when ordering this sandwich. I really wanted to like this place and maybe we just ordered the wrong things but If you're in OC I wouldn't come here for a meal. Coming for a drink would be my suggestion. read more

This was a slightly more upscale restaurant than most others in Ocean City. The interior is more mature than other nearby restaurants and the drinks definitely follow suite. I had the Aren't You a Peach cocktail while girlfriend had the Lavender Fields of Kentucky and we kept trading sips because the flavors were so good! I ordered the Seafood Mac 'n Cheese appetizer and I was more than enough for an entree! Everything was priced fairly and our server was very attentive. I'd recommend over and over again! read more

Very cute place. It is super nice but, the food was terrible! Five of us dined in, excited to try a new place. The menu looked pretty good but, they seriously missed the mark. The food isn't seasoned well and our fried chicken sandwich came out cold! Now, we did have to wait another 12-13 minutes for another one but, it was just blah! Half of the table didn't even eat their food. The food overall was bland, no seasoning, and the aioli was just okay. Ketchup couldn't even fix it! I probably would have just walked out if I had not waited so long for my food in the first place. Best thing on my plate was the fries. Can't really say that I will be back. Our waitress was sweet but, was slow. We didn't give her a hard time because we knew it wasn't her fault, although she could have checked on us a bit more. read more

Well I did not see human hair listed as a topping for my burger. Nasty experience. The burger was a low end patty. We have had a better meal as a dine in guest so we did carry out. What a mistake! Horrible. Besides the hair on my burger the burger was not great. Got the Dry 85 burger and wow it was dry. The pulled pork was dry there was a spot of bbq sauce. Total fail. I came to this restaurant with high expectations for me and my large group of friends and was and left extremely disappointed. To start we spent a large sum of money in total and left a large tip for our waitress Emily P. Miss Emily decided that she was going to give a nasty attitude to a group of 13-14 years olds. And when asked nicely for a simple glass of water she disregarded the request, and told the group to "drink what was on the table." After this incident she decided to walk away from our party and talk bad about us to her coworkers, with the intention of us hearing. She claimed that we were rude and disrespectful and made someone else take our table. Hence the name all the food was dry. Like how do you mess up a kids Mac and cheese... anyways all the food took forever to come and you can tell the quality was low. It took a total of over 2 hours just to get an order of fried pickles which were classified as an appetizer. Might I add that these pickles were chewy and soft so let's not even classify them as edible. Besides all of that the one guy who helped was great. Give him a raise. read more

This place was a gem amongst a sea of "OK" restaurants during our trip to Ocean City. It honestly felt so out of place because you wouldn't expect a restaurant with this level of quality sandwiched in between mediocre touristy restaurants. To start, the establishment from the outside is modern and inviting. Once inside, you're greeted with friendly smiles and food was super quick to arrive. Start this night off with no one inside the place. I said, "Nothing here in Ocean City Open?" The host stated, "McDonalds is." This is basically a millennial "Hang out" with hip drinks...Food is awful. I got the "85 Dry Burger" pork, bacon, and burger. I was thinking how can you mess that up? They did...Pork cooked in an oven, and the burger had no condiment options except ketchup at the table. The 3 condiments they did have were Blue Cheese, Vinegarette, and a lemon sauce. How do you not serve ranch? Someone else at my table got chicken and waffles, surprise here...no taste. Maybe the cooks don't have seasoning at their disposal? Very blah and expensive. The tempura in the alaskan roll is cold. Although they cook tempura fresh for the apetizers they dont for the rolls (aside for the rolls that are deep fried) and that is strange to say the least. Otherwise the tempura apetizer is good but they are stingy with the wassabi not nearly enough is provided for the amount of sushi ordered. read more

It could be a fluke, except we also got the children's chicken tenders and they were just as overcooked and tasteless. Lastly, service was horrendous. I ate here a whopping five times while I was working in OC -- mainly because it was across the street from my hotel and I didn't feel like driving. While their beer selection isn't my favorite, it was nice to have some local Maryland brews again. I am borderline obsessed with their salads. They had a skirt steak and quinoa salad that my server was more than willing to swap with shrimp for me and I could probably eat it that every day. So many flavors crammed into one bowl. Got take out from here mid August. Tasty burger and wings .Like many places they use plastic clamshell style takeout containers which do not do a great job of allowing heat to vent. This is great for entrees but not so much for things that have bread like burgers and sandwiches . This can make food a bit soggy . However the food ws still pretty good . One can imagine how good it would be if dining onsite, and they appear to have a nice selection of outdoor seating. They have an incredible selection of whiskey which I look forward to trying on my next visit. Definitely worth a visit if in town. read more
