The appetizers were decent but the entrees were below average. Most of our food was burnt but the sever said it was just charred. Bread are not charred?

My husband and I decided to give their desserts a try as we were in the mood for something sweet and savory. We ordered a cup of coffee each and thought we should try both special desserts, Bumbleberry Pie and The Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake. We sat at a booth in the bar area which was poppin with people. The coffee arrived quick even though it was 8 at night. Not even 5ish minutes later, the pie and cake showed up. We started with the pie first. I loved the flavor as it was perfectly sweet paired well with the cream on the plate and it didn't feel heavy. Crust was flaky too! The slice of cake was rich chocolate flavor balanced well with the peanut butter mousse layers. My husband enjoyed that one more while I enjoyed the pie more. We agreed that both were delicious! I'd come back to try the other items on the menu one more time as those desserts were on point.

This place was very ok. During a late Sunday afternoon, we came in expecting to enjoy their brunch time and were super to see that it was pretty empty inside. They were blasting the AC causing me to ask if we could sit outside (on a cloudy day). When we sat down outside, I asked the server if they had a brunch menu like they advertised on the website, and we were told that they actually DONT do brunch past Labor Day.... Ok. Whatever. Didn't see that anywhere on the website tho so that was misleading... since we drove all the way here and we were hungry, we decided to stay and try it out... We ordered the shrimp bisque (the soup of the day) , and the fries to start and as entrees we ordered the chicken and waffles & steak and quinoa salad . The shrimp bisque was not good. It was horribly thick and had almost no shrimp flavor or bits. Had to send it back. My partner didn't like her chicken and waffles and said the chicken was mostly dry and lacked seasoning. The steak and quinoa had good presentation but the meat once again lacked actual flavor. I found myself chewing that steak and adding tons of salt just to make it a bit more enjoyable. I tried some of my partners' waffles with syrup though and I gotta say those waffles and the fries were phenomenal compared to everything else we ordered. Two entrees and app came to $52.79 not including tip and surcharge of using a credit card (smh)

I hadn't been to OC in years and, honestly, I wasn't expecting much in terms of restaurants because back in the day there just weren't any good places to eat. I was pleasantly surprised to find Dry 85. It's a cute, quaint little place with a nice hipster vibe and bar. Our server, David W, was excellent. He was attentive and very friendly, as we ordered No Mas omelets and the My Way breakfast with grits. The food was delicious, as were the Mimosas and the Old Fashioned cocktails. I like any place that boasts, "Bourbon/Beer/Provisions" for breakfast! OC is cool again and I will definitely come back here when downy ocean, hon!

Breakfast is a busy morning for most restaurants in Ocean City. Apparently the popular ones have long amusement park lines and close before 3. My family was looking for a place without a line for 10 min and Dry 85 didn't have a line. The sign read "Bacon Brunch " and there was no line ? They have their own parking lot with ample spots and there is no line. I looked at the menu on Yelp but there weren't any breakfast post . I was intrigued . This place has a distillery vibe with wood grain tables and sleek masculine interior design. My family was seated immediately. Our drink orders were taken soon after. This restaurant is clean ! The bathrooms are clean too. There are only 2 bathrooms but they are unisex . We didn't order alcohol. We wanted bacon wrapped scallops but was told that it was a lunch item. We ordered chicken and waffles and the NO MAS VEGGIE Frittata . The food took about 20 mins but it wasn't the hottest. My bf says that the syrup tasted like "dirt" . Not sure what that means. I asked him if that meant "grainy" and he agreed. Again , I was not sure what he meant by that statement. He cleaned his plate tho ! The chicken appeared to be thinly sliced and batter dipped with a little sprinkle of garnish. My frittata was room temp hot and had absolutely no seasoning. I gave it a bath in Tabasco. My server Jesus was a kind , young man who checked on us periodically. I don't think the breakfast was a HIT but I would give this place another chance for dinner. They might have a good burger and whiskey for lunch.

Our burgers were pretty good, but the chips weren't great and the fries were mid and not worth the 4 dollar up charge. They were honestly soggy and the flavor was odd. Our waiter was really nice except our food took over an hour to come out despite the restaurant not being busy. Ambiance was fine.

We came in with a group of 7 on a Saturday for dinner, and the red flag should have been how empty the dining room was. Out of 7 entrees, two had to be sent back, one of which was my blue cheese and fig burger that was ordered medium but came out well done and dry. My husband ordered the black bean quinoa burger which was fine. They remade my burger, which took over 20 minutes, long considering the restaurant was almost empty. When I eventually got my meal, the only flavor on the entire plate came from the blue cheese, because the jam tasted more sugary than like fig, and the burger had no flavor although it was properly cooked medium. The hand cut potato chips were cut extremely paper-thin so that they tasted like nothing but oil. The only reason to come here might be to sit at the bar for cocktails, because the food wasn't good, table service was slow, and the wine and beer selection was very limited.

The family bought the business in 1965, gradually expanding to add wine in 1970 and merging the store concept in 1982. The Full Deli Debut: In 1987, Anthony's officially expanded into a full-scale deli, which quickly became as famous as its liquor selection. Ownership: Operated as a beloved family-owned business for over 55 years. Rather than skimping on fillings, they load their sandwiches with premium Boar's Head and Citterio meats, freshly sliced cheeses, and house-made salads. The Sandwiches & Fan Favorites Anthony's sandwiches are renowned for their staggering portions. The 12-inch hoagies are packed with over a half-pound of meat and cheese on freshly baked rolls. The Shrimper: A massive sub loaded with house-made Maryland-style shrimp salad, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. The Flagship Sub Over 1/2 lb of Genoa salami, capicola ham, pepper ham, and sharp provolone cheese. Shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, onions, and spicy hot peppers. Dressed with olive oil, red wine vinegar, and oregano on a 12" freshly baked hoagie roll. It's the quintessential Italian cold-cut sub--salty, tangy, slightly spicy, and sturdy enough to hold up in your beach cooler all afternoon. Pro Tip for Beachgoers When heading to the beach or driving back home, ask the deli staff to assemble your sandwich "semi-deconstructed" (with oil, vinegar, and tomatoes on the side). Your roll won't get soggy, making it taste just as fresh hours later.

It actually took me several minutes to figure out how to take the first bite, and by the time I got to the middle, the sandwich had fallen apart and became pretty messy to eat. I picked it up around 8 p.m. after work, ate half that evening, and saved the rest for the next day. After eating it, both my partner and I experienced stomach issues. While I can't say for certain what caused it, it was disappointing and unfortunately left me hesitant to return. I loved the hint of cinnamon but according to the Moroccan spice I looked at on the web, it is a combination of numerous spices which amounts to a delicious combination of flavors. Both dishes were paired perfectly with their sides and sauces. I have never left a review about a restaurant before. This will be one of my few unforgettable meals. If dining inside, bring a sweater. I started with two soups - jerk chicken and rice soup and the cream of crab. The chicken was good and had long rice with plenty of spices but the soup came out very lukewarm. The cream of crab continues to cement its place as the top 2 cream of crab soups in and around OC. I went with the longboard burger as my meal - served with pasta salad. Really like the pasta salad as a side being different. The burger was pretty skimpy on the special sauce that came with it, but I asked for a side of bleu cheese which was good. The bartender who served us was a younger guy with a beard and longer hair - very friendly and attentive to everyone. The Greek salad and Margherita pizza is our go to, but we have had their cheesesteak subs, lasagna, and their various assortments of desserts. Ripieno's special-brew chai iced tea is something else that has always kept us coming back. That is until today. While the pizza and salad were still very good, they weren't as outstanding as they have been in the past. Customer service is not the same as it once was. When we ordered the chai tea, this evening, no orange and lemon slices were offered. As we were dining outside, I walked in to ask if they had orange and lemon slices for the iced-tea available. The cashier first seemed as though he didn't see me, and then when i caught his attention and asked about the slices of orange and lemon for the tea, he looked at me as if he didn't not know what I was talking about. I looked at the girl behind the counter that walked over with the salad dressing that had not been delivered with our salads and asked her about the fruit. She looked confused as well and said they didn't have any. The iced-tea on its own is very good, but the slices of orange and lemon really make it great! Back to the food...when our pizza was brought to the table, the gentleman that delivered it, (I think he may have been attending the wood-fire oven) threw our paper plates on the table. Next came the Greek salads. We were short two sets of silverware which was noticed by the second server. She said she would return with silverware, but didn't. So, I went back inside and asked for the two sets of silverware we needed. I was asked if I wanted plastic. I responded that I would prefer metal silverware. The girl disappeared and returned several minutes later with the silverware. I realize it is the busy season, but the restaurant was not busy. We've been during the busy season and in the off season and have always had wonderful experiences. I am truly hoping that this was a one-time thing, and that Ripieno's will return to the same familiar place we used to love to go.
