Disappointing I really wanted to like this place, but was unfortunately disappointed. While their beef is reasonably tender, the flavor of the actual soup didn't feel that deep and was mainly driven by salt/MSG. The noodles had a slightly off texture about them. Their XLB is not bad, just a little bit small and each order only comes with 5 pieces. The prices are on the higher side and they charge for ever little thing here (for example, 50 cents for spicy added to the soup). If you want good beef noodle soup, I would say Ox 9 is king

Went here on a Monday night and there was no wait, we got to pick what table to sit at. There's a QR code to scan for a menu, but the waitress gave us physical menus (which I prefer). Tried the braised beef shank noodle soup with flat noodle, and the broth was really flavorful and not too salty. There were 3 pieces of the beef shank, but 1 piece of beef had a tendon stuck to it, so it was a bit hard to eat. The other 2 pieces of beef were really tender though. We were confused when the waiter brought our noodles before the chili wontons, because usually the appetizer arrives before the entree. We had to ask another waitress if the other waiter who took our order actually ordered the chili wontons for us, she checked for us and apologized and brought the dish to us. The chili wontons meat texture was ok, the chili oil was pretty spicy (not mala spicy which can numb your tongue) and had a nice crunch from the peanuts. I noticed one wall in the restaurant had Chinese characters printed on it. The restaurant does have a more modern design and the food did come out pretty quickly since the broth is already made ahead of time. Even with the mix up with the appetizer not arriving on time, I would come back and bring my family to try other items on the menu.

Both the braised combo appetizer and the beef noodle lost some flavor compared to Fremont store or even previously in cupertino - which was really the best in bay area. Appetizer - the shank was not even braised at all. The bean curd and hundred curd also lack flavor compared to before. Beef noodle- still good but lost some flavor. I had the half beef half tendon noodle, and the beef was very dry compared to before. The fat/tendon that helps the melting sensation is no longer present. Overall still very good but no longer top.

Beef noodle soup 4/5 - broth is very flavorful and beefy flavor. I liked the texture of the hand pull noodles but wouldn't get it again with beef noodle soup, probably one of the dry dishes would be better with this dish

Recommended this restaurant and it is located in Cupertino adjacent to the Apple Co campus. Catering to Taiwanese cuisine dishes were tasty. Service was friendly and we were seated promptly. Ambiance was very clean. Our server was nice but had mixed up our order after repeated back to us. Luckily we caught it. We ordered Boneless Chicken Soup with Hand pulled noodles with Xiao Long Bao, Dry Pork flat noodles with Veges, and the Pop Corn Chicken. The soup needed seasoning and the hand pulled noodle was chewy but very thick I couldn't finish. Disappointing that the wrapper of the Xiao Long Bao wrapper was thick and came out dry. Not enough filling. Price was expensive.

I got the braised beef shank noodle soup and handmade noodles were sooo chewy and yummy but there were only like 5 noodles in there and like 4 pieces of beef shank. The beef shank was pretty tender tho and the broth was flavorful. The popcorn chicken was alright, it was a little bit dry. The chili wontons were also alright, not amazing but not bad. Not sure if I'd be back because the portion size for the price is just not worth it :/

4.5 rounded up We got 2 items for takeout. They were promptly ready and packaged really nicely. The interior looks nice as well and we would love to dine in in the future. Pork chop fried rice 4.5/5 - This dish is a classic and did not disappoint. Pork chop was tender and nicely fried. But the star of the dish is def the fried rice. It was delicious - very savory and well balanced. Despite being more of a noodle person, my husband preferred this dish and devoured it. Pork meat sauce dry noodle with handmade noodles 4/5 - It was a good dish overall. The meat sauce was delicious, like a lu rou fan type of flavor. However, the meat to noodles ratio wasn't great. The handmade noodles were the thick type and while they're well made, I don't think they go well with this dry dish (they prob would be better in the soup dishes). I wish we got the thin noodles instead. Glad we finally tried this place and we'll def be back. If the lu rou fan tastes similar to the meat sauce on the noodles, then I def want to try that next time

Haven't been here for a while so I decided to come back and see if it has any menu changes. Overall it is still very similar. Their food is still as good. I got another hot noodle soup. Broth is flavorful and delicious. Their pork cutlet is really really good. Service is ok. They are attentive and are willing to help. The restaurant is a big place. It is clean and spacious. Will return.

Good service, nice food, clean restaurant. Good for family and kids friendly. Many simple choices for whole family: rice, noodle, soup, dumplings, chicken, etc.

My favorite Taiwanese restaurant in the Bay Area. Overall ambiance and service is great! Always recommend to friends

They serve solid Taiwanese beef noodle soup. I really like their hand made noodles. It's semi thick and has a nice bit to it. This location offers a lot of parking. If you get certain menu items, they offer a small discount on certain appetizers if you pair them together. We also tried the century egg and tofu appetizer since we saw that it was popular, I thought it was just ok but it was mainly the sauce. Sauce just wasn't for me. Definitely would come back and try their other noodles!

Swung by after an apartment viewing on a Saturday afternoon for an early dinner. It was busy around 5pm but after 30 minutes, it was packed! Definitely felt assured after the crowd came through. We ordered the pork chop fried rice, beef combo noodle soup, and the wonton with chili sauce. Everything came out so tasty and savory! The decor inside was also super comforting and clean. Definitely someplace I would come for a comfortable meal. 5/5 dinner! Expected to be a regular moving forward.

Felt like the soup didn't have much contents. There were only a few pieces of meat and the noodles were okay. Bottom of the soup had unmixed seasoning.

The noodles for both dishes have a pleasantly chewy bounce to them. They are thick, satisfying, and cooked perfectly right. Every meal comes with pickled yellow radish on the side to help cut through the richness of the meal. Service is not what you come here for. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated and a part of that was because they skipped our name on the waitlist. They claimed they called it, but we were standing less than 15 feet away from the front door and never heard a thing. The music the restaurant was playing outside didn't help. Once sat inside, it is a turn-and-burn operation. Food is ordered, dropped off, payment is collected, and nothing more. Again, don't go here for the service, go for the noodles. The atmosphere is casual and bit cramped. It has a cafeteria-like feel inside and can get a little noisy. Parking can be tricky especially when busy since they share a small parking lot with neighboring businesses. Bottomline, Paik's Noodle is good for a quick and solid bite but that's about it.
