They wouldn't give me employee pricing, but in the end he gave me 1000 bucks off and I reluctantly accepted because I had been waiting for my dream truck so long. I complained and now every time I go to the dealership, they make sure things don't get done in the same day and keep my vehicle and don't call me. Have been coming here for many years and never had had such unprofessional experience before. Like I stated in my survey love the services dept. They always take great care of my car. In my survey I gave them a 7/10. I said that the salesmen that helped me out we're cool but that I feel I didn't get the best deal. I was actually very generous with my survey bc I actually felt uncomfortable half the time I was here looking at the car and asking questions. Perry and Christian helped me the sale. I traded my old car and when I was transferring things from my car to the new one, I had one bag that could be thrown away. There was another bag that contained critical medication, confidential paperwork, and other valuables. This all added up to about $500 dollars of valuables. I accidentally forgot this bag in my old car. I called Perry the next day, asking if he could find the bag and hold it for me. He confirmed he located it and left it by Christian's desk. I went this morning at 10am to pick it up and they couldn't locate it. They stated to me that the cleaners most likely mistook it for trash. I personally had to go into your dumpster to try and locate the bag. I went through all the bags one by one to try and locate it. I was not able to locate it. I went back to the store manager, Raul, and asked if he contact the cleaners and see if they could get ahold of them. He told me this wasn't possible and had to wait till tomorrow. He was extremely dismissive and had negative attitude when talking to him. I am extremely disappointed with how I was treated. I drove all the way from Sacramento because I was told this bag was secured. I outreached multiple times to follow-up and have been completely ignored. I recently purchased a used vehicle from Dublin Buick GMC, and this has been one of the worst dealership experiences I've ever had -- especially considering how much money I paid. They gave me the car with an empty gas tank, which is extremely unprofessional. They promised they would deliver the vehicle -- they never did. They promised my registration would be ready right away -- they did not provide it. It's now been three weeks, and every time I call, they push it another two or three weeks. No responsibility, no honesty, no follow-through. This dealership makes promises just to close the sale, and once they have your money, they completely stop caring. The communication is terrible and the customer service is even worse. I absolutely do NOT recommend buying a vehicle from this dealership. After the most exhaustive search of the GMC trucks within 300 miles, I decided on Dublin GMC. They had the exact truck I wanted. 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 Double Cab Pro with a 5.3 liter V8 and a lot of towing options at a price I could live with. Andrew was my sales guy. Young guy, nice guy, as was the sales manager. Finance man was a little grouchy, tired of his job, and wanting to go home. He could have been a bit nicer so that he would at least match the rest of the guys. I did look at 1000 trucks before I bought this one from this place. I blew the deal I made by agreeing to pay for a dealer ad on AFTER I made the deal on my truck. My fault that I didn't press them on that. Woulda shoulda coulda. The ad on was for on line tech package. Dealer ad on after the deal. Still beat the crap out of the sticker. So, the lesson here is to make the deal on your vehicle, and then ask them to put the "add $" tag in the trash when they show it to you AFTER the deal? Yeah, I wanted that bad ass truck so bad, I didn't argue as I should have. He knew it. He was good, it was late, and at the end of the transaction, I was satisfied! read more

Bits and pieces were good. Sales financing thought the salesman and the finance guy Leo were great. The service the two times I have gone has been pretty subpar. For example during my oil change booked that I would wait for it since it was an hour job (as rep suggested) 4 hours later vehicle was ready. Luckily didn't wait and took the shuttle in. Also advised that my vents in the dash louvre lower on their own. Stated couldn't re enact the problem, but a simple slide of the vent would tell you they are really loose. read more

The following is a letter written to GMC addressed to one of their "Advisors " who these ppl assure us they will make sure we are satisfied with their so called "Quality " service. ******************************* Hi Samantha, I can't upload here because the file is too large to send.  I uploaded the video through google drive, there you will be able to see the video with the link I provided. This is my 2007 Chevy Tahoe, this is what is constantly happening every time I drive. The dealer says on my documents that I provided to you, "for a split second" but I'm providing you a 2min video of this transmission issue that has been happening every day and is only getting worse becoming more and more consistent. The information that the dealer is providing you is completely inaccurate, this is a safety hazard and for the dealer to tell me that my transmission is fine and it's ok to drive is surprising, considering they are certified GM Technicians.  and for me to be told by you that you guys rely on these technicians is concerning and beginning to question what steps and training are taken to be GM Certified considering what my experience has been thus far.   The reason why I got my transmission replaced through a certified GM dealer is because there is supposed to be a feeling of security knowing your vehicle is getting worked on by professionals. My experience has been the complete opposite.  What's also problematic and confusing is that nobody, not the dealer nor you can provide me an answer as to what is considered a "problem" when in fact, a transmission with under 25k miles, originally purchased through you guys, is doing this. As I've mentioned to you before, the fact that a transmission is doing this, is unsafe and could potentially become fatal.  As you can see in the video, this problem happened on the bridge, the bridge is about 4 miles surrounded by water, with nowhere to pull over. As I bring this up again, this is a safety hazard. A problem like this can cause an accident on the road.  And for the dealership and you guys to consider this situation as unproblematic is shocking. Coming from a reputable company such as GM.  I feel I've provided everything to validate my concern, compared to the dealer who gave you guys a completely different statement than the documents I received and provided to you. Coming from the same person. This back and forth debate with the dealer and you guys has been going on since April 15th, 2024. As of now, we are in the 18th of July of 2024 with nothing happening. I will attach videos below of what I'm going through every day as I am trying to drive to work. Kirby was more than willing to take my mother and I to wherever we needed to go. I chose the shopping area nearby. I use a cane and my mother is a bit older. Mr. Kirby took extra care to assist us. He also gave us his phone number to contact him for return. After not hearing from us for a while, and right before his lunch, he called to check on us and let us know abt his break. I REALLY appreciated that extra service. A month later, when we returned for another quick service, guess who stopped when he saw us and greeted us BY NAME??!!! MR. KIRBY!!! Excellent! One of the worst dealership experiences I've had in the SF Bay Area. I took my 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 in for service due to an oil leak and a manufacturing defect. After being told my truck was ready for pickup, I discovered they had taken it on a 210-mile joyride. Thanks to the GMC app tracking the vehicle's movements, I was able to see exactly where they went and for how long. When I confronted them, they gave several conflicting excuses. First, they claimed the truck was only driven around the dealership. Then, they said it was taken on a limited drive to check for oil leaks. Finally, they admitted the service manager took the truck, but they couldn't explain why. Their main excuse was that it was an 'extended service drive,' even though this happened after they told me the truck was ready for pickup. To make matters worse, after I got my truck back, the oil was still leaking, meaning they didn't even fix the initial issue. It's clear that this wasn't an 'extended service drive'--they just used my truck as a delivery vehicle for their own purposes. I've filed a police report with the Dublin, CA police (report: 24-701472), and there's an open investigation. I strongly advise against going to this dealership for any reason--sales or service. They were dishonest, treated my truck poorly, and lied to me. The service rep even offered to cover one month's truck payment to resolve the issue, but later claimed I misheard them. This place is shady. Stay away.
