The following is a letter written to GMC addressed to one of their "Advisors " who these ppl assure us they will make sure we are satisfied with their so called "Quality " service. ******************************* Hi Samantha, I can't upload here because the file is too large to send.  I uploaded the video through google drive, there you will be able to see the video with the link I provided. This is my 2007 Chevy Tahoe, this is what is constantly happening every time I drive. The dealer says on my documents that I provided to you, "for a split second" but I'm providing you a 2min video of this transmission issue that has been happening every day and is only getting worse becoming more and more consistent. The information that the dealer is providing you is completely inaccurate, this is a safety hazard and for the dealer to tell me that my transmission is fine and it's ok to drive is surprising, considering they are certified GM Technicians.  and for me to be told by you that you guys rely on these technicians is concerning and beginning to question what steps and training are taken to be GM Certified considering what my experience has been thus far.   The reason why I got my transmission replaced through a certified GM dealer is because there is supposed to be a feeling of security knowing your vehicle is getting worked on by professionals. My experience has been the complete opposite.  What's also problematic and confusing is that nobody, not the dealer nor you can provide me an answer as to what is considered a "problem" when in fact, a transmission with under 25k miles, originally purchased through you guys, is doing this. As I've mentioned to you before, the fact that a transmission is doing this, is unsafe and could potentially become fatal.  As you can see in the video, this problem happened on the bridge, the bridge is about 4 miles surrounded by water, with nowhere to pull over. As I bring this up again, this is a safety hazard. A problem like this can cause an accident on the road.  And for the dealership and you guys to consider this situation as unproblematic is shocking. Coming from a reputable company such as GM.  I feel I've provided everything to validate my concern, compared to the dealer who gave you guys a completely different statement than the documents I received and provided to you. Coming from the same person. This back and forth debate with the dealer and you guys has been going on since April 15th, 2024. As of now, we are in the 18th of July of 2024 with nothing happening. Had a great experience having car serviced. Made appointment beforehand so all went smooth. What made the experience GREAT, however was Mr. Kirby, the shuttle driver. Kirby was more than willing to take my mother and I to wherever we needed to go. I chose the shopping area nearby. I use a cane and my mother is a bit older. Mr. Kirby took extra care to assist us. He also gave us his phone number to contact him for return. After not hearing from us for a while, and right before his lunch, he called to check on us and let us know abt his break. I REALLY appreciated that extra service. A month later, when we returned for another quick service, guess who stopped when he saw us and greeted us BY NAME??!!! MR. KIRBY!!! Excellent! One of the worst dealership experiences I've had in the SF Bay Area. I took my 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 in for service due to an oil leak and a manufacturing defect. After being told my truck was ready for pickup, I discovered they had taken it on a 210-mile joyride. Thanks to the GMC app tracking the vehicle's movements, I was able to see exactly where they went and for how long. When I confronted them, they gave several conflicting excuses. First, they claimed the truck was only driven around the dealership. Then, they said it was taken on a limited drive to check for oil leaks. Finally, they admitted the service manager took the truck, but they couldn't explain why. Their main excuse was that it was an 'extended service drive,' even though this happened after they told me the truck was ready for pickup. To make matters worse, after I got my truck back, the oil was still leaking, meaning they didn't even fix the initial issue. It's clear that this wasn't an 'extended service drive'--they just used my truck as a delivery vehicle for their own purposes. I've filed a police report with the Dublin, CA police (report: 24-701472), and there's an open investigation. I strongly advise against going to this dealership for any reason--sales or service. They were dishonest, treated my truck poorly, and lied to me. The service rep even offered to cover one month's truck payment to resolve the issue, but later claimed I misheard them. This place is shady. Stay away. After a little shy of 2 months, we got the car back. This was after they called to see if we picked up the car?! So you lost the car for a day? Awesome. Finally get the car back. Next day, check engine light comes on. Is it just a sensor off or more repairs. Lord only know because you cannot get anyone to return your calls. Worst customer service I've seen in a long time. This review is only for the service department. I learned the Kia dealer is under the same owner and the great experience I had at Kia has now been proven when I brought in my 3500HD. The key to the service dept has been Jack Haverty. He exceeded my expectations by going above and beyond to ensure my job was properly completed. Another employee really took it home though. I came in for a replacement bolt and Jack was out for the day. This guy (I wish I could remember his name but whoever his boss is should know he is a strong asset) found the bolt I needed and installed it even though I had no appointment at that moment and he knew nothing of the background. Excellent experience with Dublin GMC and salesperson Tavis. Tavis was awesome! In today's market where dealers are adding additional market adjustment fees, I found Dublin GMC to be selling cars at MSRP. I went through the Costco buying program and was contacted by Tavis. He contacted me and we setup a same day appointment to check out the 2 Yukon's they had available. When I arrived at the dealership, I was greeted by Tavis who already had the vehicle ready to show. We did a test drive and then went back inside to close the deal. I feel like I got a good deal from the dealer, especially with other dealers charging more. My trade-in price was acceptable and I moved forward with the purchase. Easy purchase process. Tavis showed me the features of the the vehicle and was very helpful. The vehicle needed to have rims installed and put through the detail process. I had to wait a for them to complete the process. I could have left the dealership and came back when it was ready, but I stayed and waited in the lounge. Tavis had and appointment and Calvin finished the final delivery. Both salespeople were great. 5 stars all around. read more

I love this service department. Even though I own a Chevy, I bring mine here because the vibe, attitude, and service is 1000% better over here. I doin't know why some people feel a dealership service department is too expensive, because it isn't. There are always coupons, and EVERYTHING at a car dealership is negotiable. The distinct advantage of a dealership is that you get someone working on your vehicle that is certified to that specific brand. That's important. *Special shout out to Kevin and Isaac, they were both great* The rest of my experience there? Not so great. Came in because they had a used Denali that was exactly what I was looking for. And if they didn't have the exact truck I was looking for I would've walked out in the middle of the sale. The first sales guy I talked to turned me over to Kevin because he was with another customer. Took it for a test drive and everything was great. Went to look at some numbers and in the middle of my deal the GSM called Kevin over the loud speaker to go help a customer that just walked in while the GM and GSM just sat at the sales tower. (Totally not Kevin's fault just bad customer service from the GSM in my opinion). 20 minutes later Kevin comes back and we finish up the deal and get my documents uploaded to finance. While going through finance Isaac offered me the extended warranty through ally which also lowered my interest rate. Nothing but good things to say about Kevin and Isaac. Bought the truck on Monday and all was great until Wednesday when the check engine light came on and it started rough shifting. Went over to the dealer and service told me I could leave it with them and they could look at it the next day but there was no loaner vehicles available. So I talked to the GM about it and he suggested I drive the truck until Friday and then maybe he could get me a loaner car while it gets fixed. Long story short they ended up taking it that night and giving me a loaner car (which apparently wasn't available 15 minutes ago). I was told it would be ready Thursday night so I called back Thursday afternoon and asked for a status update. The person who answered the phone told me could transfer me to the service writer on my job. Waited with hold music for about 5 minutes before it went to voicemail. Then I went to pick up the truck and there was wires hanging down by the OBD2 plug. Ended up being a transmission harness and they were able to get it fixed at no cost to me but the amount of back and forth it took to get them to make it right was ridiculous. read more

I went to this dealership back in July 2023 because I wanted to order a new GMC canyon Denali truck. After I arrived, salesman Ali Khaliqi approached me and asked how he could help me. I told him what I wanted to do and he politely told me he could help me with ordering a truck. The ordering process was quick and painless. We sat down at his desk for about 15 minutes to go thru the order and then I put a down payment of $1000 down. Ali told me to expect about a 4 month wait as the truck order was placed. Over the next couple months Ali texted me to keep me updated on the truck progress. The truck build was delayed because of a union workers strike in the fall, but my truck was eventually delivered the first week of 2024. All in all, I waited 6 months for the truck. Once the truck was in house at Dublin GMC, Ali texted me pictures/videos and told me he would have it ready to pickup by the end of the day. I went to pick up the truck the following day and Ali already had it completely gassed up and ready to drive off the lot. I finished up some paperwork with him and the finance dept and then took the truck home. The truck was exactly everything I ordered with exception to the all weather floor mats I ordered with the build. They were on back order and did not arrived with the truck. About a month later, Ali texted me that he received my all weather mats. He personally delivered them to my house the next day. Ali provided awesome service and this was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. I had a few minor requests of specific things with my truck order and Ali made them all happen. I love my Buick but did not get it from here. This is a review about the absolute worst service department I've ever experienced though. I had to go to a Buick service department for a particular repair and the service was pitiful. Made an appointment two weeks in advance and was told when I dropped it off that they may not actually be able to service my call that day because the appointment people don't know what they're doing. I received no update as promised and of course they didn't even look at my car until I called and let them know I was disappointed by the lack of communication. They ended up looking at it and realizing it need parts ordered. Promised me a call in two days. Long story but I've now left multiple messages and they never call back. It's truly remarkable how poorly this place is run. If I wasn't forced to go to a Buick service place, I would never go back. read more
