So I didn't buy a car here because my husband was getting upset. The salesperson was hitting me. I thought it was funny, but my salesperson doesn't know how to read a room. He was fuming. Great car. I thought Great service. But these guys definitely need some HR training. Go here if you are single though. There aren't a lot of cars, it's a big lot. you kind of have to look online first and call ahead to make sure it's there. They also have pre-owned vehicles to choose from and take trade-in cars. They had this big Sprinter Van for 170k in the front! Geez. I would to be driven by that. They sell other cars other than Hondas here, but it's kind of random. The cool thing about this place is that it's right on the corner. You can't miss it. The building looks funny though. It could use some work. Definitely not the cleanest. Must've been around a lot. Next door is a Mazda store which is within walking distance. Didn't go there, was looking for a honda. Behind this store is a motorcycle store. It's not like on a big auto mall strip. couple of gas stations near by. read more

I occasionally come here to get my car service, but based on my past experiences with this Dublin Honda, I get pretty frustrated with their wait times and communication, so I typically try to go elsewhere. However, my Honda key fob started malfunctioning even after I changed the battery in it. So I called Dublin Honda to ask if this something they can fix. The lady on the phone said it might be an easy fix but I need an appointment. I asked if she knows how much it cost to fix or to troubleshoot it, and she couldn't give me an answer and told me they'll have to look at it. So I make an appointment. I come and wait in a long time for the service reception. Once it's my turn, I find out they don't actually fix it. They only replace it. So I waited 30 minutes to be told something they should've told me over the phone. I basically wasted my time coming here. I wanted to get it FIX, I am not asking fora replacement since the key itself is functional, I wanted the fob to be repaired if possible. I am very frustrated and annoyed with the incompetence. The lady should have known they don't even fix/troubleshoot the fob if it's not working, they just tell you to get a new one. I wish someone told me this before I wasted my time coming here to do absolutely nothing. read more

Salesman tried his best to lie, lure and play tricks on customer. Their car quote was about 10% higher than other Honda dealers within 30 miles. I told the salesman I got quote from other dealers and just wanted a match because they were the closest. if they couldn't do it it was fine and we would just call it. He still tried to list non-sense combination of numbers and add all the junk accessories. He claimed whole dealership was doing a big favor all working for me. Then I decided to stop wasting time and walk out. Realizing he would not be able to get a great bonus by his dirty tricks, his last word was "get out of here". when I asked him to repeat, he claimed he would call police. Unfortunately those car salesmen still live in the business model 20 years ago. But of course if they can learn they will not be this type of car salesman. Also during a car service two weeks ago, this place when checking cabin air filter, put it back in a reverse way. All the dust collected over months were blown back to cabin. Shame on you. read more

This was a great experience for my husband and I. We had gone to 3 different Honda dealerships and they were all trying to sell us something we weren't looking for. I met Tito in Dublin and he listened to what I was looking for and helped me find a car that both my husband and I could agree on and we couldn't be happier. Luis in financing helped us pick the right packages we needed for our car. Nobody was pushy and they all let us breathe and think things through. We brought the car in to add an accessory part and Arianna was the person that helped me and she was so friendly and kept me updated throughout the day as to when my job would be finished. Not only was the customer service excellent but they have a great inventory. Dublin Honda will charge their customers to the fullest extent. They are scammers and will waste two hours of your time for an "EXPRESS oil change". I got here at 805am and waited about 40mins to get my car checked in. Their representative took my information in and told me that my car will be done in one hour and thirty minute for an oil change. I asked him about a shuttle bringing me home. He responded " we are short today, there will be no shuttle service." He also told me to perform a break check inspection, the tire rotation must be done and it will be added to my cost. I normally do not pay for tire rotation at other Hondas dealership because I get them done somewhere else and it is considered a separate service. On the form receipt it states that I am getting an oil change/tire rotation. I do not like getting charged for things I do not want done. I definitely will not return. read more

I purchased a Toyota Truck from Ken Harvey's Dublin Honda 6300 Dublin Blvd Dublin, CA 94568 925-828-8030 One of the deciding factors of the purchase was it would include a Maintenance Contract. Per conversation with Manny Barrantes Lic#:S583909 time of purchase, this Maintenance Contract would cover all manufacture's recommended maintenance. He left the office to verify with his manager. He returned stating term will be 36 mo/36k mi, price $2,693, and all manufacture's recommended maintenance would be covered. Details were agreed on and I was to return to sign papers and pick up the truck. At signing I felt rushed to sign 20 documents, plus a 16 page booklet titled "Auto Care Plan", referred as "Vehicle Service Contract "all small print. No time was the word "Warranty" used. My "Maintenance Required Light" came on, I called Dublin Honda to schedule an appointment for servicing. At that time I was told I didn't have a Maintenance Contract, that I had a Warranty Later I went to Dublin Honda to resolve this. Spoke with:Luis Abreckov Lic#S784898 He took me to one sale person's office, had me explain my situation, then to his office. Said he was going to clear this up. He filled out a Warranty Cancellation. Said that there may be a cancellation fee and a proration amount calculated. Said that was unacceptable. I was sold the Warranty under false pretense. I should receive the full $2,693 back. Luis said no problem he was going to fix it. Then took me to: James Bailey Lic#:S470609. Again found myself explaining my situation. Again told there will be a cancellation fee, proration amount. Again I said unacceptable, I was sold a Warranty under false pretense. I should receive the full $2,693 back. James stood up, through the "Warranty Cancellation" in the trash and told me to leave his office. I went home, looking for another way to deal with this. Seeing reviews on the internet found I was not the only victim of this Dealership's deceitful methods of business. read more

Shame on you for taking advantage of a young new car owner. While she had her used Honda inspected at a Honda dealership in San Leandro before purchasing it, a host of issues "appeared" when we brought it to Dublin for a brake job indicated in the first inspection. Dublin Honda ran an unrequested Multi-Point Vehicle Inspection while replacing the brake pads. The Honda Multi-Point Vehicle Inspections vastly differed between the two dealerships - and these inspections were completed 2 days apart! The suggested replacements amounted to over $2000. Further, the battery, deemed "good" in San Leandro, suddenly needed to be replaced. When questioned about how long the battery would last, the rep said it could fail tomorrow or next month. Shame on you for using this scare technique. We will never use this service department again. Browsing through Yelp reviews, this appears to be how they operate. Use them with caution. read more

My 2015 Civic Si's Clutch gave out back in June 2023. Ken Harvey's Dublin Honda performed a replacement, and service advisor Matthew Y. shared service tech (Albert) had noted "No leaks found at Slave and clutch master cylinder". Yet a month later my slave cylinder failed. So how legitimate and valid was that initial inspection of my said cylinders? What turned out to have been a quick fix turned out to be a long and costly one. My vehicle was stuck at the dealer longer than needed, while waiting for an OEM set of parts. After a week of limbo Matthew Y mentioned they could get an after market part(still under warranty of course). My vehicle's repair timeline was adjusted accordingly. Terrible experience, predatory to a sense. During all this I had mentioned to Matthew Y. I needed my brakes done.(Refer to image attached with this negative review). Matthew Y. forgot to mention it to Albert. When Matthew Y Had returned from "asking" Albert about my brakes, apparently Albert had said my brakes are fine and he didn't hear any screeching. They are screeching, I'll spare taking the time to record and upload a video proving otherwise. Matthew Y's solution was to return once again to get them done. I've spent near $3,600 with this whole clutch situation. You'd figure Matthew Y's customer service towards me would not be below poor, but here I am with this negative review of Ken Harvey's Dublin Honda. Thanks to service advisor Matthew Y. Terrible experience overall. If I could give a negative star, I would. Steer clear of this location, I HIGHLY recommend visiting a different Honda Dealer for your service needs or maybe even a mom n' pop shop. Don't get taken advantage of. Accountability needs to be held when dealing with one's mean of transportation. I'm sure Matthew Y, would agree if the roles were revered. STAY AWAY. read more

Review #170 - 2020 My son's been looking at cars online ever since he got his drivers license in January so he pretty much has an idea of what he wants; but as parents, we are only comfortable with him driving a sedan at this point since he's still considered a new driver. He has two choices, either a Honda Accord or a Toyota Camry because that's all I'm willing to pay for. Besides, I can't have my 18-year old son driving a car that's more expensive than mine, right? We received an email from Wais since July 29th, but I never reached out to him due to the whole COVID situation. I wasn't sure how the test drive would be arranged so I wanted to wait it out a bit. I decided to call Wais and schedule a test drive for Wednesday, September 23rd, at 1:30 PM. When we showed up for our appointment, we were greeted by Wais and led to the car lot to check out their selections. We ended up in an Accord Sport, which has some pretty nice features, but my son was hoping to check out the Touring package and they didn't have one in stock. We went for a quick 10-minute test drive on our own. Surprisingly, they didn't ask for our drivers license or insurance to see if we were even legal to drive. When we returned, my son said that he thought it was nice, but he didn't like that the breaks took too long to react. The service department is unprofessional. I called to schedule service and a recall repair on our 2024 CRV, which we bought new at Dublin Honda. First, I get an AI assistant that can't help me but offered to transfer me to a service rep who would "get my deets" and "totally hook me up." Like I'm 17? I can understand grown-up talk, you know. So, a service rep answered, and before I said 3 words, started laughing. I told her what I needed, but she continued laughing while answering me. I said, "Sorry, I can't understand you through all the laughter." She finally managed to say their systems were all down and they can't schedule anything...all while still laughing. I hung up. I called back to speak to the service manager. The AI teenager told me the service department was "totally swamped" but she'd pass on a message. It's been 2 days and still no call from the service manager. read more

Just in case anyone else is curious... Oil change (only) $80. Not sure why they don't post service costs for a simple oil change. Makes me feel like it's on purpose so they can charge whatever they feel like at any given time. Also, "would you like a free car wash?" I feel slightly insulted that they're trying to market it as "free" when service charges are so high, you're essentially paying for a car wash. When they finally finished, I turned on my car to find the radio BLASTING a different radio station (I purposefully turned it off when I handed it to them). Absolutely terrible customer service from one of their service receptionists/advisors. Made a reservation for general maintenance and arrived early to check-in. Spoke w/ the receptionist/advisor inside and was told that my appointment would not be honored same-day, but I could check-in the car and leave it overnight. Disappointed, I accepted the offer but was told they had no shuttle (as advertised) and also had zero rental cars and no offer to subsidize via Uber or Lyft, etc. What's worse the lady I spoke with appeared to find my situation comical with a smirk on her face. I've been here before and Shane the mechanic is amazing and trustworthy. But after this experience, I'll NEVER EVER take my cars here again. read more

I have no idea how this dealership is running. Unless you have all the time in the world to waste for the love of god do not bother going to this dealership. I called 10 am in the morning to set an appointment. I set an appointment for 3:30. This was convenient for me because it'd be on my one hour lunch break. I arrive to the dealership and go to the service department. I walk in and there are three service advisors at their desk. Not a SINGLE one even bothered to acknowledge my existence. I was completely ignored. I approach an elderly woman with salt and pepper hair who was very rude. She seemed bothered that I approached her. After going back to my car and waiting a man with blonde hair and tattoos approached me. He didn't care to check whether or not I had an appointment he told me off the bat it would be an HOUR for a simple oil change. I asked why. He said because there are other cars ahead of me. These cars did not make appointments. I however was responsible and called early in the morning to make an appointment and they did not set that time aside to do my oil change. He then told me I seem upset about the time and I should go speak to his manager. He was very rude and confrontational. The whole experience was terrible. I have never in my life been to a dealership with such horrible customer service. I ended up leaving because I didn't have ver an hour to spare for a fifteen minute oil change and I felt very uncomfortable. I would much rather go somewhere else that will take my appointment and time seriously. read more

I came to Dublin Honda three weeks ago on my only day off. Sat down for four hours for them to make me a new appointment for today. I needed my rear camera replaced but my car is at 28k miles still. Dublin Honda called me over two weeks ago telling me how the repair would be free because I'm under 30k miles. Regardless they verbally told me it would be free of charge. I come in today and they did replace my rear view camera but turns out it isn't under warranty anymore. I missed that by two months. So they already replaced the camera and I ended up only paying for the part but what choice did I have? I can't make them put the broken camera back in. They also changed both air filters and did an oil change. They never even considered this three weeks ago. Three weeks ago I was at 40% oil life. The sticker that they put in my car says I only need to replace the oil at 15% oil life. I did an oil change back in March. I probably didn't need one until April 2023. Avoid this dealership. Go to Livermore Honda instead. read more

0 STARS IF I COULD! DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SCAMMED!!!!!!! Went here to purchase my first new car. Everything was going smoothly. Tito gave me an estimate and that's what I went with. I agreed to it. He did told me to "hold" the car with a $4,000 deposit which I had never heard of. I heard of $500 to hold to the car but never $4,000 after I said no and I only had $3,000 for down payment for the car. He suddenly agreed. So I said fine I'll just do that. I waited 3 weeks for my car to arrive.. when I finally got there to pick up my car I went to deal with the finance manager Jimmy Bailey. He told me to get the extended warranty and gap. But he didn't mention anything else. So one day had passed and I called him back explaining to him that I wanted to cancel the gap insurance and extended warranty. He said if I do that he will raise up my APR to 15.09% because the bank didn't approve it without the warranty. Even though I signed for 5.09% and it's on the paper that the apr was agreed to 5.09% He made a whole new contract saying he's going to raise up my APR if I cancel those two because that's what the "banks wants" I have never heard of raising up APR just because you don't want to purchase extended warranty or gap insurance. Definitely feels like "tied-selling" which is ILLEGAL. Jimmy has a HORRIBLE attitude, WORST customer service I have EVER dealt with. I never seen anyone in customer service behaved like this. He cursed to us while talking and told us to get out the office if we wanted to talk to the sales manager because he has other customers. Well aren't we his customers too??? VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. His father is a GM also, so maybe that's why he acts the way he acts. Sales manager didn't even want to come in. He just stared at us from afar until my brother in law had to go get him to come in. We spoke to the sales manager Ken/Kenneth who of course sided with Jimmy. Towards the end of our conversation, we asked for the sales manager name again to make sure and bam, he lied right there saying his name was "Joe" if he had to lie about his name, then he knows what they're doing to me is completely wrong. We've been in the market for a newer car because I was tired of our cars always having problems, no matter how big or small (being that my husband is a mechanic, we've always just gotten cheap cars sold by owners). We wanted a spacious car that could accommodate our boys and their current and future sport activities needs (for us, having captain seats was the absolute selling point). I am not a fan of minivans so that was a definite no even though they would have been a great choice. My husband found this Honda Pilot Elite online from this dealership. It has the captain seats we wanted for the boys, the color was nice, and it had ALL the amenities anyone could possibly put in this car. To top it off, the mileage was fairly low and the price was pretty nice too! We worked with Nick to get some payment options set up and then worked with Luis on the financials. Both gentlemen were so patient with us when we needed to discuss our options. They were also so sweet to our two boys. We're SO excited that we were able to drive this car home! I tried to provide feedback for Dublin Honda to improve directly to the Service Manager and them directly to Honda corporate stating that I would rather manage concerns that way than heaping on criticism via Yelp - but alas, nobody responds or even acknowledges the issue. It has been more than a month and no response has been provided- not even an "I'm sorry for your experience." This won't be long - suffice it to say, poor customer service, failure to notify me of need for brake replacement during routine service, no car wash despite saying they would, blaming the customer when they made me wait 15 min w no acknowledgement. I get all my service work done at Dublin Honda, however, after today, that may change. My low beams aren't working. The fuses, the lamps, and the high beams are good as are the harnesses, so the repair most likely was a switch or relay replacement. I made an appointment for today at 12:30. I waited for about 30 minutes to have a service advisor tell me they couldn't get to me today and to bring my car back at 8 am tmrrw and they would TRY to get it done, but it may take them 2 days until they get to it. Why take appointments if you are too busy to assist the client? Needless to say I left frustrated and am now looking for another mechanic to fix my problem. read more

We had a car maintenance for general check, oil change and reset tire light, the service staff was really friendly and the service was done within one hour. Thanks for offering the free car wash, however, the license plate frame was broken after car wash. Josh M was nicely helping to replace the new frame, and he also changed the back frame. I took my car this morning for the front sensors going crazy. My car would randomly auto brake with no obstruction or vehicle ahead. I have heard quite a few excuses like my side mirror needing to be replaced. I literally picked my car up from Chilton Auto Body and dropped it off directly with DH. The mirror was brand new and working...what did they do to it? My car is still under warranty but the service dept is attempting to say that a 5 mph hit to my trunk may be the cause of the front sensors acting up for months. I've heard stories about DH being extremely difficult to work with when it comes to warranty repairs. So far it's ringing true....I am currently waiting for a service manager to call me. I will update if anything changes. Update 1 - Ok...so now 2 small chips in my windshield must be popping these codes per the service director. I was told a list of things to "fix" before they can even look at it as a warranty fix. Update 2- Auto body shop spoke with Ariana last week to do a supplemental for my insurance. Got a call today from Nick Guttierez telling me it's my responsibility to do all that after the auto body told me No, it has to go thru them for the repair warranty. read more
