I just bought a used 2024 Kia Niro EV Wind this week. The car is great and my fondness grows the more I learn its ins and outs. I need to give a shout out to Ahmad from Dublin Kia for the seamless process from start to finish. Starting from the initial call, Ahmad was transparent and very accommodating. Usually asking a dealer for the OTD price sets off a song and dance. But not Ahmad. He was straight up and matter-of-fact about it. Were they the cheapest? No. But they were one of the most straightforward and least sales'y folks I've encountered on this 2-month buying journey. Also, the entire team just had a good vibe. As busy as they were, the mood in the place was light. Even jovial at times. Car buying can get stressful so having the right vibe helps. Again, a huge thanks to Ahmad and team for a pleasant experience and not being yet another anecdote of why dealerships suck. The service department at Dublin Kia is inept! We had our daughter's Kia towed to Dublin Kia because someone had tried to steal it and jammed a screw driver into the ignition. It needs a new ignition. That was on Saturday. They order the part. It's not until Friday that they discover they ordered the wrong part. We live in Oregon so we let our daughter use our car and we rented one. Now, after he drove another 9 hours to get the Kia, my husband can't come home until Tuesday because the soonest the part will be in is Monday. We tried calling and calling and never got return calls from our service advisor. We paid $700 for a rental!! Don't have your car serviced at Dublin Kia! They are incompetent and do not communicate or work on your car in a timely manner! read more

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! Worst customer service. 1. I called for service, was told they had an opening for Saturday morning (how convenient, I thought) WRONG! Turns out, they can take my car on Saturday but mechanic doesn't start until Tuesday! How does this make sense??!! 2. Also needed a new key FOB, got the run around for months (can't find my request, problems overseas, item back ordered....blah, blah, blah) -never got a new one 3. With a recall notice, I am forced to return to them. I called for appt, was put on hold while they check for needed part. Got appt 2 weeks later at 7:30am. When I arrived they told me that the part needs to be ordered and they needed the VIN # before ordering!! Couldn't this have beed done on the phone??? I can easily read a number off to them (Also my VIN# is already in their system). They don't care about their customers at all!!! What jerks!! read more

I purchased a 2023 EV6 in October of last year (not from Dublin KIA). In February it had me do a navigation update. The next day my car wouldn't start. I was able to have it towed to Dublin KIA. They called me the next day and said that they were able to start it so I picked it up thinking maybe it was a one off. Fast forward a week and I had several mornings where it wouldn't start and I had to get it jumped. I was finally able to drop it off to Dublin KIA on Sunday. I did my research and knew that the issue was the 12 volt battery, which is a common issue with this car. I told them that. On Monday I was told that they were too busy to look at it yet and that they did not have a rental car that I could use. I was given the number of the service manager Allen and called and left a voicemail. I did not receive a return call. On Tuesday I was told that one test was performed and now they would have to charge it overnight for another test. Still no rental car despite my asking. On Wednesday I was told that the battery does need replacing but it will be a few days before it can be approved with the warranty and they won't have a rental car for me until then. This was all via Andrea. I tried calling Allen the service manager a few more times and never received a return call. Finally on Thursday when Andrea was not there, I was able to get hold of Russell who told me right away that it is under warranty and that he would organize a rental right away. Better yet an hour later my car was ready to be picked up. It took 5 DAYS to perform a simple battery replacement that could have taken 2 hours. Andrea was less than helpful with trying to get me updates and a rental. The service manager didn't bother helping or returning calls at all. The only person who actually bothered to do his job was Russell. I had to pay for my own rental car when my car was under warranty with less than 3000 miles on it. Absolutely pathetic service. I would never recommend taking a car there unless you can be assured that you will deal with Russell. The rest of the team clearly care nothing about how customer service is supposed to be. I'm giving them 3 stars only because of Russell. If he hadn't been as helpful as he was, I would give them one star. read more
