Nissan Kicks SR! Thank you so much Henry ! I love my new car!!!

UPDATE - Thursday, March 5 I am updating my review again because the situation with Dublin Nissan continues to escalate and I want to clearly document the timeline of events. On Tuesday March 3rd, I picked my vehicle up from the dealership after it had been in the service department for a warranty repair for a WEEK. When I picked it up, the service manager, Kenny, told me my key fob battery had been replaced "as a courtesy" and that my car had also been detailed "as a courtesy." After leaving the dealership and making a few stops, I immediately began experiencing electrical issues that I was NOT having before I dropped my vehicle off for service. My doors would not lock using the key fob or the buttons on the driver side door and my windows would not roll up automatically. I called Kenny to report the issue and was told that the car's computer "needed to calm down" and that I should call back the next morning if the problem continued. The following morning the problems were still happening and instead of a solution I was given additional explanations. I then spoke directly with the General Manager, Mark, who arranged for a loaner vehicle to be delivered to me while they picked my vehicle back up again. At this point my vehicle has now been dropped off and picked up multiple times throughout this process. When the loaner vehicle was delivered, I did not drive it after it arrived. This can be verified through my Ring camera system at my home. When I went to use the vehicle the following morning, I discovered that numerous warning lights were illuminated across the dashboard. I will be uploading a photo to this review showing the dashboard with all of the warning lights that were already on. At this point I am extremely frustrated and concerned. I feel like I am repeatedly being placed in unsafe vehicle situations. I should not be picking up my own vehicle with new electrical problems and then be provided with a loaner vehicle that also appears to have serious issues. To make matters worse, when I informed the General Manager about the condition of the loaner vehicle, the only response I received was "ok" with a thumbs up emoji (photo attached) There was no follow up, no attempt to resolve the situation, and no effort to provide a safe replacement vehicle. That response felt extremely dismissive and unprofessional given the seriousness of the situation. My vehicle has now been picked up and returned multiple times and there seems to be a new issue every time, despite the fact that I originally brought it in for a warranty repair. Because of the repeated repair attempts, the new electrical issues that appeared after service, and now being provided with a loaner vehicle showing multiple dashboard warning indicators, I am formally documenting this situation as a potential warranty failure and safety concern. At this point I no longer have confidence in the dealership's ability to properly diagnose or repair my vehicle. If this matter is not addressed immediately by the dealership owner, I will be pursuing formal remedies available to me under California Lemon Law and initiating a legal review of my case. This review serves as part of my documented record of events. This entire experience has been stressful, time consuming, and completely unacceptable. I truly wish I had never purchased my vehicle from Dublin Nissan.

The distinct indentation with rust forming at the exact spot. It's hard to believe this wasn't deliberate. Avoid this place at all costs.

DO NOT COME HERE FOR SERVICE! IT'S A SCAM. THEY WILL ADD USELESS SERVICES + ACTUALLY BREAK YOUR CAR. Negative stars. I visited this dealership for a tie rod recall and an oil change, but my experience has left me deeply disappointed and suspicious. During my visit, Zachary from the service team suggested I get a 20k-mile brake fluid change. Initially, I agreed, but after reconsidering, I backed out within five minutes. His attitude noticeably changed after I declined. After picking up my vehicle, I started hearing a high-pitched squealing noise coming from the driver-side tire. Naturally, I was concerned. Was there an issue with my brakes? The timing felt suspicious. Right after I declined the brake service, my car develops a weird noise? Not suspicious at all. I decided to take a look and removed my wheel to check the dust shield on the rotor. The shield was in excellent condition, except for a small, deliberate indentation hidden on the bottom side of the shield. Turns out the dust shield was rubbing against the rotor when I was driving, causing a high pitch squealing sound. It just so happens that there's signs of tinkering (rust at indentation point) on my otherwise perfect dust shield. It's clear this wasn't accidental. I called the dealership to address the issue, and they informed me there would be a $280 diagnostic fee unless it was proven to be their fault. I suspect their intent was to charge me for diagnostics, claim there's an issue with my brakes, and then upsell unnecessary services. Meaning $280 + a fake brake issue. This isn't the first time I've felt scammed here. On a previous visit, I came in for a warranty fix, and Zach claimed there was an issue with my rotor, which ended up costing me $800. Now I can't help but question if that repair was even necessary. To be honest, it was most likely fake. Furthermore I was quoted $80 for a fully synthetic oil change over the phone when making the appointment. I even confirmed this multiple times with the representative. Yet, when I arrived, Zach informed me it would cost $180. I thought I had a $40 coupon so I'd just eat the cost. Turns out it was expired. I'll take blame for my expired coupon, but are we oil changing a Porsche? It's a nissan. $180 for an oil change is crazy. The pattern is clear: they push for additional services, act annoyed when you decline, and possibly tamper with your vehicle to force you into returning. This is not only unethical but dangerous. I would strongly recommend avoiding this dealership. Their practices are scummy, and their pricing is exorbitant. Save yourself the headache and find a trustworthy service center.

I own a 2014 nissan Leaf. I stopped by at your dealership to get a quick charge. Is your on-site charger no longer free to nissan owners? I am being asked for a pin code and the screen says Chargion now

Unfortunately, due to limited availability, the charger is only for customers actively using our service department.

As a woman walking into a dealership alone, I left feeling like I was being lowballed and that they expected me to just accept whatever number they gave me. What bothered me most was that they didn't stand behind what they told me before I drove all the way out there. The frustrating part is that we were actually pretty close to making a deal. Had they been willing to work with me more, I would've bought the vehicle that day. Don't promise numbers you can't come close to just to get someone through the door.

She explained no she was getting it towed out and that she had a letter of complaint. He asked her to elaborate, she told him she would prefer to talk to the general manager and he kept prying. After she gave him a very brief explanation, he began to get visibly angry and upset at her and began to tell her that because she had a complaint with two different employees even though it was regarding the same situation that "she was the problem". He had literally no idea what was going on, why was he even doing any of this!?. She asked him to leave her alone and told him he was acting strange / a weirdo many times. He refused and continue to repeat "this is my house" what do you even say about that absolutely insane! She then walked away from him and went inside the service department and he followed her in there and continued to make the same statements in front of other workers.. All the while she was telling him to go away and that he was insane. She then asked the service department personnel that was standing in front of her and who she was communicating with for the man's name and he would not give it to her, but he did tell the man to go away. Talk about a completely unnecessary and strange encounter. Also just fyi! 1. It is the consumers right to be able to file complaints. 2. He had nothing to do with anything that was going on, and when she told him she needed service, he should have directed her there and left it at that. I bought a used 530i and I noticed the lane assist camera wasn't functioning, we all thought it just needed a calibration and I was informed it would be taken care of at no cost. Once Everardo got it, he discovered it was because the windshield had been replaced at some point by a non oem windshield, and that was the problem. Obviously it's a lot more expensive for the dealership to cover an oe windshield replacement when compared to a camera calibration. I signed for the car as is, they could've totally screwed me if they wanted to, but that's not East Bay BMW's style, they told me that it would work and they made good on their promise, even though it was more work than anticipated. Legally speaking, they didn't have to do that, and most dealerships would've taken the opportunity to make some money there. I'm blown away by such honest business in this day and age, it's so uncommon, especially when dealing with larger companies. But these guys are awesome. And to top it off everyone is hella chill, friendly, and fun, but still professional over there. Salute!

Buying my first car was an incredibly stressful experience, but Masud and Alex made the entire process completely seamless. Even with my very limited credit history as a young buyer, Masud was able to get me a great deal on the portion I financed. They were both incredibly professional, kind, and patient throughout the process, and really gave me the peace of mind I needed when making such a major purchase. They even let me take the car on an extended test drive so I could feel completely comfortable with it before buying. I was also genuinely shocked by the quality of the car for the asking price. I came in the morning after they received it, before they'd even had a chance to detail it, and it already looked practically brand new. It's clear that they thoroughly vet the vehicles they sell and are selective about what they put on their lot. On top of the quality, their pricing is extremely competitive. This was the best deal I found anywhere in the country for the Chevy Bolt EV I was looking for. I had been about to purchase the same model from another dealership with significantly higher mileage for around the same price, so I'm incredibly grateful I happened to find East Bay Motorcars' listing. They were also kind enough to hold the car for me while I drove over, despite having several other people interested in it. Definitely check their inventory frequently because it seems like their cars sell quickly and after my experience, I can understand why. I couldn't be happier with my experience with Masud and Alex or with my new car. The funny thing is, the customer service here is absolutely genuine. I took my CX-5 in for its first service and was greeted by my service advisor, Heather. She was super cheery and personable--she made conversation and immediately gave friend vibes. She's clearly been in the business for a while because she was confident, knowledgeable, and never once felt salesy. When my car was done, I went on my merry way. I got home and parked in the driveway like normal. I didn't leave again until just after 6 p.m. when I noticed an oil spot underneath my car. Obviously alarmed, I called the dealership knowing service had literally closed two minutes earlier. Someone in sales answered, listened to what happened, and actually walked over to the service department to see who was still there. That's how I got connected with Damon. Who, spoiler, is the service manager, yet never once took that credit. He just jumped in and handled business. Damon immediately apologized and had me set up with a loaner car. I'm not exaggerating--it coordinated everything in about 15 minutes. I drove my car down, picked up the loaner, and went back home. Seamless. Now, it was my decision to drive the car in, I didn't feel the leak was so bad it was inoperable to drive. Damon offered to have the car picked up and brought in, I declined. Heather called me first thing the next morning to apologize again and let me know they were sending someone out to clean the oil off my driveway. I'm sorry... what?! Who does that?! Dublin Mazda, that's who. After a thorough inspection (and cleaning because there was oil everywhere), they found the culprit: a faulty oil filter. And even if it had ended up being due to mechanic error, oh well, things happen. Heather then went out of her way to get me reunited with my car, even offering to deliver it to me. The entire service department went above and beyond. None of it felt forced or like they were just checking boxes. They handled everything graciously because they genuinely care. As someone who's been on both sides of the counter--having worked at a dealership for years and, more recently, having spent way too much time dealing with a GMC lemon--I can honestly say I've never experienced this level of customer service. Beyond grateful for the service department at Dublin Mazda. Thank you for putting your customers first.
