We literally just walked out of the restaurant from eating, and I'm writing this review. To begin, we were greeted by the young woman at the front. I asked about the Crumble burger, as it seems like this is one of their most popular items. The woman at the front hastily recommended we get something else because the cook wants people to try things that HE put on the menu. We opted for a regular burger and fries. We got our food in a timely manner. Overall, it was average. Burgers were very greasy and definitely not a 1/2 lb patty as advertised. Fries were okay. The most appalling part of our experience at Dub's was when the young woman at the front brought a plate to the table close to us. The teen boy at the table politely said that it was not what they ordered. The employee immediately gave this poor boy so much unwarranted attitude that my jaw dropped. She told them that they did indeed order that food and placed it down and walked away. Between the employee's behavior with us at the front, the greasy burgers, and the treatment of other customers--we will not be back. read more

Wow let me tell y'all about some good BBQ! My wife and I just bought a house right up the road from Dubs so when we worked up an appetite after some moving we headed there for some pick up. Not bad at all! I got the Dubs Spud with pork and my wife got the chicken plate. Really good smoked flavor and good sauce, I must say I was surprised to find out instead of the Spud being a baked potato it was all the fixings plus pork on top of a big pile of breakfast(cubed) potatoes! Nice service and good prices for the amount of food you get, I'm sure we'll be back! read more

Bright sunny place with good energy and friendly staff. The cook sometimes comes out and checks on all the customers. It's a nice hangout place. I love the new upgrade. The owner/cook designed it himself. The walls are mostly windows and two sides have garage-door-type openings so it's easy to lift the windows open and let the fresh air in. I'm enjoying a nice breeze as I type this. The food is alright and enjoyable. I'm not a big bbq fan (i know i know), but I enjoy this man's bbq nonetheless. What I have tried is hearty and certainly not lacking in flavor. (I wonder if creamy tomato soup could be added to the menu. It would go great with the grilled cheese.) Another bonus is that it's a pokémon gym. It is a great place to bring your kids. I've caught a youth soccer teams eating here before. They seemed quite happy. If you're looking to entertain your kids for a bit, consider this restaurant. One thing that would make this better is if they had some cheaper options. Maybe a $1 item for those with a struggling budget and want to come over to enjoy the place. It's a little pricy for the food like what you would pay at a sporting event. (Bring cash because there's an $8 requirement to use your card.) But to be fair, t's worth it just for the atmosphere, good energy, music, and the nice food. I want this joint to stick around for a long time, and by the looks of its success and recent upgrade, I don't think it's going anywhere. So far I have tried the burger crumbles, lemonade, sweet tea, grilled cheese sandwich, baked beans, chocolate milkshake, and Brunswick stew. In the future I want to try some ice cream and a burger. I've heard they're good and I don't want to miss out on that. read more

Food is consistently good, which is the only reason it gets 2 stars. Service is pretty bad, all three times I've been here I've waited about 30 minutes for food and the last time I waited over an hour for burgers and fries. The cashier gave me an ice cream because I wanted to cancel my order. Because I had an hour to just sit there and wait I had all sorts of time to observe how unprofessional these folks are. I counted three random people that just went back in the kitchen. A random guy on a motorcycle just walked in back and started laughing and messing with the only chef who was busy showing off a Philly cheese steak that looked amazing but I can only assume to 40 minutes to make. Next the cashiers boyfriend (maybe he just likes her a lot) hung around in the little vestibule that only has room for a handful of actual paying customers, so that was nice having him just hang out distracting the only other employees there besides the chef who was already distracted. Then some guy just walked back there poured a Coke, did some stuff and walked out. It was all just a bit too casual for me and in light of them taking FOREVER to make my food I'm going to pass next time which is a bummer since it's one of the few neighborhood joints in Red Bank read more

Nice little Hamburger and ice cream shop. Dub's have been around for as long a I can remember. Small town Burger shop. It is not a chain store. It is a road side stand with maybe 6 table in side and 3 or 4 picnic tables in the back. Not a gourmet burger but a mom and pop style place. Inside has a rock n role theme. BBQ is awesome. Looking for that little place to take your kid have some frys or a milkshake Dubs is your place. read more

Everything on the menu is good.. if you've never tried a crumble burger, you'll have to try it. The smoked chicken sandwiches and bbq sandwiches are really good and their fries are homemade. I visited about 2 weeks ago, I got a bacon cheeseburger and a raspberry shake. The shake was green! Low on flavor too, when I brought it to the attention of the staff they immediately offered to give me something else so I picked a chocolate fudge shake, consistency was great as it should be, the flavor was just not there, and not worth it. I give it 4 stars primarily bc they don't let you add a tip on credit cards. The burger was a good size, and had the juicy flavor of ground chuck cooked on a flat top, but a hint of the char from a grill. The sesame seed bun was toasted perfectly, and the pimento cheese added a creamy layer of fat that replaced the need for mayo. The fries were delicious. They were hand cut and fat, cooked to a dark crisp. The milkshake was fabulous, a smooth mix of peanut butter and banana blended just so that it was creamy and smooth but not too milky. The price was a bit steep--I spent $16--but the meal was worth it. It's not the best burger in Chattanooga, but it's definitely worth the trip to Red Bank! read more

OMG, this is a great place. They have an enclosed patio for eating. Had the smoked chicken sandwich and smoked pork sandwich. Both excellent but I would give the chicken the prize. The fries were also excellent. This is a family run place and they continually check on you to make sure you have everything and get you refills. If in Chattanooga you must stop by and try this gem. read more

Well... this place continues the trend of having really quality burgers in Chattanooga! The exception being they have amazing barbecue and abita root beer on tap! Parking: a puzzle to figure out the first time you show up Food: The quality and the flavor served out of here is my favorite in town. The crumble burgers are well seasoned, the BBQ has a great smoke too it (and not too dry!), the fish sandwiches are spiced perfectly, and there are an assortment of desserts to choose from to cap the perfect meal. I've found that every time I come I ask the people sitting inside for warmth what they like the best and pretty much get a different answer and a new thing to try. I'd also recommend the home cooked fries - they come crunchy which is how I prefer them. Another thing to take into consideration is most of the portions are a good size so there's a good chance you can save some for later. Seating: I've only been there this winter and there is not a lot of seating, but when you do sit down I feel it's a great opportunity to meet some folks who live nearby. There is a ton of places to sit outside and I look forward to utilizing the giant benches. Customer service: This is my favorite thing about this place! The people and owner are unbelievably nice! It has a small town diner feel - they know a ton of their regulars by first name and are always polite and friendly. Overall this is probably my favorite gem of a restaurant I've found in the Chattanooga area - capitalizing on the growing market by providing great food, drink, and incredible service with a smile! This place was less than a mile from our Airbnb. Luck score for us! We stopped in one night for ice cream. I went into order while my fiancé stayed in the car with our two dogs. While ordering the gentleman who worked there came in through the door and told the counter attendant that we had two dogs. She laughed as I had already ordered ice cream for them. I was touched he walked in while on his break so my dogs could get free ice cream! Well if that wasn't enough the ice cream was good. We went back twice during our trip for ice cream. Each time bringing the dogs so they got a treat too. Staff was always super friendly and treats super tasty. They do take CC but have an $8 minimum. This was never a problem for us. This review is only on their Soft Serve. Moved to town and so many people raved about the soft serve as best in town, how could so many people be wrong or was it an off day? This was not soft serve ice cream but Ice Milk, so bad that I had to throw out the cone. I would have rather had Wendy's Frosty which I haven't had in years. The beans are also delicious and obviously fresh-made with seasoning and onions. The onion rings are even good--thick slices of onion with tasty batter that doesn't come off. Finally tried this place, which was definitely long overdue. Everyone who works he is so friendly and I've heard things about the New Brunswick stew, but decided to stick with a burger, fries, and a shake. I tried the Kosher burger, which had pimento cheese and bacon on it, with fries and a Coffee milkshake. The burger was good, but in all fairness, I like more toppings that the classic options, so I usually go to Jack Brown's. Their Pimento cheese is delicious though and I would definitely order that alone. I think that burger needs something else though, perhaps tomato & mayo or something. The ice cream is great! I would definitely go again to get a milkshake. It was incredibly light on the coffee flavor (I really couldn't taste it at all), but the base ice cream is delicious, so it worked out. When I go back, I will probably add some extras to the burger and request the milkshake with extra flavor of my choosing. read more

This is my new favorite burger place. The crumble burger was excellent. With loose ground beef, pickles and mustard, this is a tasty burger with a unique texture. I haven't had fries this good in a long time. Thick cut and delicious you'll enjoy them to the last crumb.
