There's a line of metal poles lined around the inside windows that looks like it's meant to hold an L shaped counter- but no counter. There was sauce and crumbs on tables and chairs. Way more effort should be put into their customer service and the dining room atmosphere. Finally, the price! $40 for two combos at a fast food restaurant is insane. We liked the burgers well enough that we will probably come back but with these prices it won't be more than 1 or 2 times per year. Chilis and Applebees both have decent burgers for half the price and they have cocktails and actual Servers who smile and act like they like their jobs.

I had to eat around the fries that had sauce on it and I could not remove the sauce from the bun since it was soft and soaked the sauce in already. *So for first timers, I would suggest getting the Burnie sauce on the side to determine if the sauce is to your liking. There are unique flavored shakes (with cereal) available but hopefully that's enough for me to return and give them a try

She half chuckles and says, "The kitchen closes at 8, but you can stay for drinks." Uhhh no, we wanted dinner. So, we tell her it's not 8 pm yet, and she looks half heartedly towards the kitchen, and tells us, "You can come early tomorrow". My wife thought she sounded condescending. I'd tend to agree because she was still chuckling under her breath. She didn't try to check with the kitchen to see if they'd seat us. And because she seemed more like she wanted to shoo us from the place rather show any modicum of empathy, I am now swearing off this restaurant. It's tough to win new, loyal customers. It's easy to lose them. And that's what the young lady did tonight - she left a bad taste in our mouth even though we didn't even taste their food. And guess what? If any of our friends or family ask about Nordic Bites, you can be sure I'll emphasize the service we never received. A word to the owners - consider posting that your kitchen closes 30 minutes before your restaurant closes on Yelp. Otherwise, you surely will have other disappointed guests, like me and my wife, who may turn into detractors rather than loyal customers that are critical to building your business. No stars from me for this place!!! I had a horrible, pathetic, insulting time at "The Duck Nook!!! I guess the food was so so, but the "Service Sucked Big Time!!!! THE WAITRESS HAS NO RESPECT FOR PEOPLE, INCLUDING HERSELF!!! She doesn't care bout your concerns, nor how bad she looks when she's rude to you!!! Whatever you do, pleas do not ask for any substitutes, you will set her off!!! I thought a good, successful establishment is suppose to accommodate the customers, and be flexible acknowledging that you chose there place for breakfast, but never again!!! After 4 visits of down right rudeness, I will go to the more professional, pleasant establishments, and tell others to do the same as well!!! it's sad some people make businesses look bad, and I rather spend my money where it will be appreciated!!! As you can see in the attached picture, one of the pancakes was completely burnt. The chef tried to hide it by putting the burnt pancake under the normal one. I didn't notice it until I had already eaten 1/3rd of the meal, and was too hungry to wait to have another one cooked. This is not the restaurant's fault, but completely the fault of the chef at the time. Needless to say, I won't be coming back.
