I wanted to try a new coffee shop, because I am not too fond of starbucks taste anymore. I saw this shop was close to my house so I decided to give it a try and... wow. Extremely friendly staff, such a nice environment, and the first few sips of my iced white mocha latte made with oat milk may be one of the best lattes I've had all year. Eh. Coffee was okay. They were out of our top choices so we went with pretty standard coffees. Lattes. They were okay. Service wasn't as happy as I've read. They seemed annoyed and frustrated. Not warm or welcoming and no suggestions. Waffles were loved. The egg bowl was literally a bowl of scrambled eggs. I added spinach and they threw whole spinach leaves on top. What?!? It wasn't good. There's a difference between bitter coffee & sour coffee. Coffee: I got my usual Iced Vanilla Latte (it's like a constant variable when I try new coffee shops). I like how they put just enough vanilla so you can taste the flavor, but not be blasted in the tastebuds with artificial flavors. I can handle straight espresso shots, Vietnamese coffee, black coffee - however, their coffee itself wasn't bitter in any form or fashion, it was sour. I'm not a total coffee snob, but I know that if coffee beans are under-extracted, it can have a somewhat strong acid taste. Sadly, I won't be coming back anytime soon. Environment: Very spacious & well lit. Also, I wouldn't doubt if they had free Wi-Fi. Service: The cashier was quite chatty for 9 am, but very sweet and kind & my coffee arrived in a timely manner. read more

Went back today to Duino after not going for several months. They were serving Sunday "pop up" Brunch. It was a pleasant surprise. The place was hopping. The coffee was excellent. I would recommend offering water service to the people purchasing brunch and maybe including basic coffee for the price. We had 2 people and all in it was $58. read more

I really enjoy Duino! I have been in a lot just to have a change of scenery while doing my schoolwork and I couldn't pick a better environment. The staff is so friendly and I have always felt welcomed in. It's the perfect place to sip some coffee while getting work done. The food is great too! I love the Chicken Pesto Panini and I always order a cold brew + almond milk. I've never been disappointed. It's been a minute since I came in but I can't wait to be spending more hours here once the semester starts! read more

I love this spot. The coffee is great, reasonably priced, and there's tons of seating. I come here to do work and always find a table. I've tried some of the toasts and the Nutella-dilla, and I enjoyed both. The food as a home cooked feel--it's nothing fancy but good tasting nonetheless. This was my first time coming here. My friends and I wanted to study somewhere and came across this cool place. First thing I noticed was the beautiful chandelier! I loved that there was plenty of spots to sit, ranging from tables good for standing and working, couches and small personal tables to sit at. They have a cute wall filled with quotes that you can add onto! Their coffee is really good. Bathrooms are clean. Tables have a card that will have a green side of the table is sanitized and ready to be used. When your done with sitting at the spot, you flip the card over where it will show red and says the table is not ready and needs to be cleaned first. Staff is friendly and quick with orders. Great service. Overall wonderful place! So glad we found this place ..Definitely will be coming here regularly to do my homework :-) read more

Duino Coffee blew me away! They had been on my list since seeing them pop up here on yelp, so I was very excited to be around the area to try them out. Their cinnamon maple latte with oat milk was one of the best lattes I've ever had. Seriously....I want to try other lattes on their menu but it will take everything in me to not order the cinnamon maple again, lol. It tasted like cinnamon toast crunch. My husband tried the nutella latte and he loved it! Everyone who works here is so friendly too. The space is a good size, nice and open and has a ton of natural lighting. I love the decor and how it's decorated to stay true to the culture that comes with Duino. I'm excite to move to the area to go in on a regular basis! read more

Everything about this place is fun, trendy, and inviting. All of the art and lighting and decor all really make this a great space to be in! I was greeted by two men behind the counter, both wearing masks! They were very helpful and gave me recommendations on drinks to try! I ordered an Iced Vanilla Rose Matcha, and I really enjoyed it! All of the flavors were there, but they were all very faint. I could taste matcha, vanilla, and rose, but I wish I was more... punched in the face with the flavor! Point being, it was good, but I wanted more! I also ordered an Iced Dirty Chai, and that drink was perfect! Great amount of sweetness, great amount of spicy flavor! Loved it! This place is okay. Might give it another try. Ambiance is nice. The woman working had a thick accent so I had kind of difficult time understanding her. I got a latte and my dad got an americano. It was kind of lame they had no drip coffee available. My dad is a simple man. He didn't seem too impressed with his drink only taking a couple sips. I though my latte was okay. I love this coffee shop! The inside is full of tables for a good working environment. The food was really good: I had the turkey panini with a mango peach cream soda and my friend had the simple avocado toast. There is a large selection of food and drinks and the baristas are very friendly. It is a bit chilly inside so bring a sweater if you're coming to study, but there's also an outside lounge area. read more

I ordered two BTL sandwiches to go as I normally did. They told me they ran out of avocado, but they are buying now, and ask me if I want it with out avocado or want to want a little longer. I told them I can wait. After a while, they handed me the sandwiches in to go boxes. I checked the sandwiches, they are made without avocado. I asked them to add the avocado. The chief told me he will add it, but when the sandwiches returned to me again, they put two tiny slices on each sandwich, and told me that's how they normally add to the sandwiches. I don't think I am going back due to the service and the quality of the food. read more

A very aesthetically pleasing mom & pop shop with friendly baristas. Their coffee is a bit cheaper than Starbucks. I got their iced mocha and I think it was better than Starbucks. They had black whip cream with the mocha for Halloween and I thought that was pretty cool. The inside had nice coffee-stained artwork and was incredibly clean and organized. I didn't get anything to eat but their variety of toasts sounded delicious. I highly recommend checking it out. read more

I do appreciate the reply. I would suggest sending a shopper so you can get a realistic idea of what goes on. I am sure you train staff to what you want the place to be but in reality may not be the case when you are not around. We were not greeted upon entering. No suggestion on coffee when we mentioned looking for a strong drink. So we had to stand there and read through a board. The food sat in your warmer for well over 15min. I know this because I stayed to eat and work at the table I. Front of it. I debated on trying a different coffee but after having to correct our first order with your staff we decided against it. I don't eat at Starbucks so can't speak to the food and would prefer to support a local Coffee house. Hints why we came. If you are going to brand as a craft coffee house you have to hit the marks! You can't be a pancake house with bad pancakes. I'm sure your place will do just fine in the community just wasn't our cup of coffee. read more

Update March 1st: As the owner commented on my initial review they have since added food. I tried the avocado toast and it was really good, a nice light alternative. They had waffles today as well as at least half a dozen other options. But there is some bad news which you can see in the two pictures. On my first visit the two young ladies behind the counter were doing a great job on the coffees. Basically a prefect cappuccino. I've been 3 more times and my cappuccino hasn't been right since (pictured here is the best of the 3 failures along with the lovely first version). They're too frothy and the latte art non-existent. I hope some training will be done to address this because it's starting to put me off of going. Having good food is great but I go for the coffee. I'm leaving my review at 4 stars because they've shown they could do it right and I don't want to discourage a local shop. But based on the most recent visits I'd give it 3 stars. The staff is friendly and this place has great potential. Hopefully I can soon update my review with good news. Original: Made my first visit here before work and I was pleased. My cappuccino was good, there is a large variety of seating so you can grab whatever works best for you, the WiFi worked well, and the staff was friendly and efficient. I took one star off over the food selection. At least for breakfast time on a weekday there isn't much. But I'll definitely return as the food isn't that big of a deal to me and the coffee wins. read more

First time here and found this place on yelp, ordered 2 mochas and a breakfast taco. Taco was decent, salsa was excellent. Coffees were smooth and not too sweet, delicious. My only complaint was the young man at the counter did not seem friendly, just stood there and didn't greet me when I walked up to the counter to order. Brings the feel of a Mom and Pop coffee shop to Craig Ranch. A better alternative to Starbucks. The first thing you notice is the warm atmosphere, the local artwork on the walls and the eclectic decor. The owners are very friendly and genuinely get to know there customers. The coffee is out of this world! I'm a big fan of Mocha. I've had Mocha from all the coffee shops in the area, but Duino's is by far the best.
