I don't understand these negative reviews on here. Visited for the first time today for brunch with my girlfriend. We didn't know until we arrived that they were only serving the buffet until 2:00pm. The brunch buffet was fantastic. Lots of choices and everything was wonderful. They also brought fresh mini donuts to your table with icing to dip. The place is super cute and lots of huge TVs on the bar side. They have a large included patio where there were dogs and they also appear to have a large outdoor patio area that they had igloos. Our server was really busy and still attentive to us. Wonderful experience, I will be back. read more

Their Winter Igloo Experience was such a fun festive experience for my friends and I with cute vibes and delish food! Also, don't worry about the cold cause it even got hot for us in there. You get the igloo for two hours which gave us plenty of time for our holiday gathering. For drinks, most of us opted for their holiday drinks which were pretty good especially the Stop, Drop and Roll cocktail! For the food, everything was good but the standouts for me were definitely the Coconut Chili Mussels (they aren't spicy) and the Lobster Mac and Cheese! Have visited Duke's a few times now, and I think it's a great spot! The patio being its crowning feature that's big, beautiful and extremely dog friendly! Service is all friendly and everyone seems happy to be working there. Food Menu is similar to the other restaurants in the Craft and Crew family and I'll say my constant favorites are the Poke Tuna Bowl and the Buffalo Cauliflower. I tried the salmon last night and it was fine, but probably wouldn't order again. Well cooked and I enjoyed the veggie succotash but needed more flavor to it. My husband enjoyed the Bleu Fig burger and truffle fries! They have a dog-only menu too and the servers are great about providing a water dish when you sit down on the patio. On their patio, which is covered in the winter, dogs can enjoy a "muttloaf" which is fresh ingredients that according to the staff would be fit for human consumption, if a bit bland. I started with a Mango Mocktail which was was a perfect blend of sweet peach and sour lime. The cubed ice reminded me of the Metrodome in the 80s. Good start! The Royale with cheese is their House burger of sorts. Basically a fresh Big Mac. The potato bun was fresh, shiny, and just right. It comes "pink" or "no pink." No rare or well done. Probably the sanitary call. What made the meal for me was the fresh potatoes on the side--House chips are included, with fries, tator tots, or sweet potato fries available for a surcharge. Our party of three each tried a different option--my favorites in order of preference were the sweet potato fries (a bit crispy!), house chips (nice and large cuts), and the tator tots (good but not quite crispy enough for my taste). The best part was the clean atmosphere and friendly vibe. A true Minnesota feel. And my Brother's Boston Terrier, Lady Winifred, came away satisfied, too. read more

They were flavorful, meaty, and had a nice crisp to the outside. The Tamale cakes were my thing but they looked beautiful & everyone else seemed to enjoy them. Very disappointing experience. To start with. the bartender was aloof and inattentive - she was too busy chatting with her co-worker and washing dishes to wait on us. My $15 burger was consisted of thin frozen patties that were dry and full of gristle, overcooked and tasted horrible. You can get a better burger at Wendy's The $13 wine poor was 4 ounces. Will not return and would not recommend this place. There are much better options in the Minnetonka/Chanhassen area. I did email the address suggested below and was completely ignored. Stopped by the other night with friends. At this time they do not take reservations and we're quoted an hour wait time and luckily took 30 minutes. The patio is gorgeous and massive and perfect place to enjoy MN summer weather. We started with Tamales 5/5 great portion size, warm and good salsa everyone's favorite thing we ate. Pretzels were basic pretzels liked the dipping sauce 4/5. We were told it would be 30 minutes before food would come out so we enjoyed our beverages. Slushees make sure you mix otherwise the first few sips are straight booze. Since it's first couple weeks we have to give restaurant grace we unfortunately did not love our meals. Chicken and burger ( ordered pink) were very dry. 2/5. Fish could tell sat out as it was lukewarm at best and chicken salad sandwich was good but wouldn't order again. read more

We visited Duke's on a weekend. It's a new place so we knew to expect longer wait times and employees working out the kinks and finding the rhythm for the restaurant. Wait times were very average for a Saturday night at any other restaurant of this caliber. Not bad at all. The food was pretty good. We orders the wings to snack on. The dry rub is great. A little bit of a sweet heat and salty blend. I ordered the Royale burger. Spot on. Double patties with a nice sear. Gooey cheese, house pickles and garlic Mayo make it a must try. The fries were nice as well. She ordered the Pickled Watermelon Burrata salad. She liked it but thinks the salad would've been much better if the watermelon wasn't pickled. The pickled watermelon and the balsamic glaze seemed to overpower the salad including the richness and creaminess of Burrata if you can believe that. We had a couple of cocktails that were pretty good. The booze infused slushy cocktails are gonna be a hot during the summer months. Yes, this restaurant has some wrinkles to iron out but that's how things work. We all crawl before we can walk before we can run. The overall service was good. The servers will figure things out. The back of house will get it together. I will also mention that customers seemed pretty impatient during my time here. They were showing up with full families even knowing that a new restaurant, on a Saturday night, things weren't gonna be flawless. Especially, with a shortage in staffing in the industry. The service industry is in real trouble. Staff have left the business in greater quantities than we expected after being forgotten about during COVID. The folks showing up to work so that I may have a "normal" evening out, have my deepest appreciation. Thank you. We've been to Duke's several times over the past year - a neighborhood meeting spot. Our first winter igloo experience tonight exceeded expectations! The staff went above and beyond to create a wonderful evening for our group. The igloo decor has a kitschy, ski lodge feel, complete with "oldies" holiday tunes and heater - so comfy! Innovative and extensive drink menu - root beer Manhattan, anyone? Creative food menu which changes seasonally. We highly recommend their weekend brunch (the creamy hash is heavenly). I thoroughly enjoyed the Mother's Day brunch. They have a dog-friendly outdoor Pawtio, complete with a dog menu. Overall I'd give Duke's on 7 a 4.5 as there can be inconsistency in food quality. This is my first time visiting Duke's on 7. I saw a local Instagram user post about the igloos and booked it right away. It was such a fun experience! The food & beverages were really tasty too. We started with an appetizer platter that included cheese curds, boneless chicken wings, pretzel sticks and chips. The chicken was probably the best on the platter. It had juicy white meat with a crunchy buttermilk crust. The chili jam on the cheese curds was also amazing. I ordered a spicy Bloody Mary and I got what I asked for, it was REAL spicy! It came with a little sausage stick, olive, pickle and a cube of cheese. For dinner I had the Yum Yum bowl and thought is was delicious. The rice was cooked perfectly and the combo of the egg, kimchi, sauce and steak were amazing. Two others in the group ordered the chicken with wild rice pot pie and both raved about it. I have been here twice, both times the drinks were immaculate! LOVE the slushies outside on a hot day. Definitely a summer drinks place. Also both times had amazing servers who were very attentive and nice. The food is another story. The first time I went the food was great (Tuna appetizer and Yum Yum bowl), but it took nearly 50 minutes to come out, normal for a new restaurant working out the kinks so I didn't think anything of it. The second time I went, it wasn't great to say the least. The buffalo cauliflower wings came out with no buffalo sauce on them, and my tomato toast came out on soggy white bread that couldn't stand up to the weight of the unseasoned ricotta and tomatoes on top. I love tomatoes on bread but this just lacked any sort of seasoning. Just very disappointed. Also beware of the parking situation. The valet was backed up with cars into the street waiting in line to be parked. The poor valets had to park the cars down the street in another business's parking lot. I was fortunate enough to snag a spot in Duke's lot even though the spaces are TIGHT. I drive an SUV and had about an inch of room on either side of my car to the white line. read more

Patio was open on a beautiful spring evening, but unfortunately everything about our dining experience was a disappointment. We shared a sad beige Italian Chop Salad. The steak in the Yum Yum bowl was chewy and dry. Every round of our service, except our initial drinks, were delivered to the table next to us and we ended up never getting the last beer we ordered. Like the sister restaurants, the menu is "brew pub" with buggers, sandwiches and wings (and the ability to upgrade your side to Tater tots - yeah!). I visited on a bright and sunny early summer day and enjoyed basking in the sun. Servers were working hard to keep everything flowing and the food was delivered without too much delay. My friend and I each tried the steak sandwich (really like a Philly sandwich) and while it was recommended as one of the favorites by our server, it was nothing special to my tastes. It was a big portion - could be shared by two people - but just tasted kind of bland. It was an absolutely beautiful evening as we walked into Dukes on 7. Our first impression walking in was "Wow". This restaurant is gorgeous. Dining room flooring and tile work is spectacular. Comfortable room with fantastic spacing. As we continued to tour the restaurant I realized each area had its own unique feel. The bar area is sleek and sexy. The outdoor dining area is a show stopper. I've never seen anything like it. Outdoor bar rail, artificial grass seating area that feels like "your backyard", this is a one of a kind space. The menu is loaded with flavor. I saw some of my favorites from "The Block" especially the fresh tasty bowls. I ordered the rotisserie chicken salad sandwich and my wife the sunfish sandwich. I took half of hers then reluctantly gave up have of mine. I guess it's called sharing. Everything we had was prepared perfectly. So delicious!!
