I was super excited to try this place, but I was let down by the explanation of the menu by the employee working. We let him know it was our first time in. We went over a few items on the menu and decided on soft serve with what I thought was going to be a hot fudge like sauce and an el grande churro with what I thought was going to be a hard chocolate coating and sprinkles and a second el grande churro filled with dulce de leche cream. The "chocolate" that I thought we were discussing was actually a frosting where you can physically feel and taste every grain of sugar. Definitely not what I wanted. We didn't finish the soft serve at all due to the frosting mishap. We will most likely only order a plain churro from now on or the filled churro as it was good. read more

Visited with kids and grandkids on a Saturday night. Not great timing, lol. It was crowded, and there was inadequate indoor seating. Churros themselves were GREAT. Hot, crispy, fresh. Could have used a bit more cinnamon...but I am a cinnaholic. Kids really enjoyed the window where you got to watch the guy using the apparatus that drops the dough into the fryer, and cook them. Great idea, because it really took a while to get our orders, since they were so busy. Our group ordered a variety of items, including ice cream to dip the churros in. Delicious and fresh! I'm definitely a fan of a hot churro but this place take it to another level!!! I went on a Saturday night around 7:30p and it was packed! I was worried the service would lack due to the crowd but I was pleasantly surprised by the accuracy and speed of my order! I had the Spaniard with the dipping chocolate! And it was so impressive. The chocolate was the perfect consistency and flavor, while the churro was the perfect crispness and yet had a luscious soft interior. It was everything I was hoping it would be!! I loved how they cooked them right in front of me and was delighted to see how they change the extruder for the different types of churros they offer! An added bonus! Spent my birthday evening at this awesome place! As a group we had almost everything on the menu;) my personal favorites were the El Grande Churro with Nutella & dulce de leche filling & the Spanairds with strawberry frosting & fruity pebbles cereal & the one dipped in chocolate frosting and covered with almonds ( OMG) seriously amazing! We had the Caribbean lemonade with vanilla (sounds weird) it was so good and refreshing!, a couple of our group order the horchata latte and they loved it!, OMG I forgot to add that they serve Cartel Coffee so you already know the coffee choices are going to be awesome!, my nephew had the churro ice cream sandwich & he really like it but it was on the smaller side, my brother had the churro bowl with so many toppings (he loved it) and it looked amazing! Best CHURROS EVER! No place even compares. I honestly thought Disneyland had the best churros but Dulce blows them out of the water! I went here as a last minute decision for a desert and it turned out to be one of the greatest decisions ever! I just hope they open up one closer to where I live out in Queen Creek. Not what you would expect of a churro shop. Definitely not authentic. Tasted fine with a Bavarian filling, ice cream is cheap. Girl taking the order was basically yelling when she could have easily used a normal voice when talking to us. Then when our order was ready, we were the only people she made walk up to get her order, she delivered everyone else theirs. Won't go back. I'll find an authentic churro, with an authentic atmosphere, which makes half the experience. My message to the owner, because how customers are treated can either make or break your business. I visited last night July 24th for the first time around 9:30pm and these things stood out to me: #1 Not all prices listed on board. As a first time customer,I had to ask how much items where, after second question, employee had big attitude and rolled her eyes,after a long sigh. #2 I am Spanish and have visited Spain numerous times, these are not "Spaniard" churros. They do not put cinnamon and gallons of sugar on their churros. #3 The soft serve swirl was absolutely horrible. Nasty artificial, chalky and icy flavor. Was not creamy at all and left a nasty chemical taste in my mouth. #4 I went back to register to purchase a water bottle and I stood there and waited and waited. Why? Because your cashier was too busy talking to other employee working at the back churro station. Then followed by an attitude because some how "a customer" haulted her side conversation. Was super excited to try this out. I mean, what's more better than a chocolate dipped churro stuffed into soft serve with your choice of toppings? Let me just say the concept was there but the execution was off. The soft serve is more water based than cream based. Making the $7 dollars I paid for a small cup not even worth it. To add to that, the chocolate that they dip the churro in was too watery and the taste resembled nothing of chocolate. It actually ruined the crispy texture of the churro and did more harm than good in aiding to the flavor. The staff? Not so helpful. It was my first time in and I stood there not knowing what to expect or how to order and the cashier just stood there. Seemingly annoyed that I had no clue how this whole thing worked. Churros along with cinnamon rolls are my vices when it comes to sweets...I think cinnamon is the common denominator. Churros are the only fritters that I can eat without going into a sugar coma. I find it hard to find a good churro so I was excited to try this place as the reviews were positive. I would say I am a simpleton (maybe a purist??) when it comes to churros so I opted for the bites in cinnamon sugar. They were hot out of the fryer and nice and crunchy. Not overly sweet but had the right amount of coating. Texture was nothing I have encountered before and it's hard to describe; chewy and crunchy but not soggy. I'm so happy that I found about this place because I love churros and have always been jealous of SoCal for having The Loop! The churros here are fresh and made to order and are delicious! I got three different things my first time there: the loop with the vanilla icing and fruity pebbles, the filled Nutella churro and the Spaniard which was mini loop churros with a side of Mexican chocolate! Visited DULCE after seeing so many positive Yelp reviews. Dropped by on a Saturday evening and tried to figure out what to order. The girl behind the camera was helpful about popular pairings and her favorites. After looking at the options I decided to try the chocolate glaze on a looped churro with soft serve ice cream. I had high hopes because I am a churro fan, Disneyland churros are my absolute favorite! I was recently in Spain and had the churros con chocolate and those were delicious as well! So based on that information I tried this churro...I was deeply disappointed. The actual churro was decent, almost good hence my 3-Stars but the chocolate glaze was not good and neither was the soft serve. I am sad I wasted the calories on this, and will not be returning. However, one of my friends got white chocolate glaze with guava dipping sauce and that was actually decent. The tartness of the guava balances the sweetness well. Overall, Disneyland churros win but the plain churros here are a close second. The extra toppings and such are just overwhelming and don't add anything to the overall flavor. read more

A super cute little dessert spot to hit with a date or with the family! Just like an ice cream or yogurt spot except you start with a churro and build it from there. They have a colorful neon green theme. The churros are made fresh to order at least when I was there and they explained what was most popular. You can add fillings or top them ice cream and toppings similar to those found at yogurt shops. It hit the spot after having been at a festival all afternoon and not being quite ready for dinner. I wanted to see what was the hype was about this place. Churro and ice cream combo? Sounds diff and delish. People here were friendly. Unfortunately, the churro was not. I had ordered the swirl ice cream which was chocolate and vanilla mixed together. I got the churro with strawberry coating and almonds. Churro was over cooked as in burnt. I couldn't even taste the cinnamon or sugar on the churro. It was also hard to chew. Wasn't good at all. As this was my first time, I'd have to say it will be my last. The place is a good size for a dessert place. But they need better air ventilation. This place smelled like burnt churros and the oil they have been using the whole day to cook their churros with.
