We went to Eat's last Friday for my brother's birthday. It was ten of us eating but my son was under the height requirement so he got in for free! It was a beautiful establishment and very clean, too! We all ordered all you can eat (just regular, not premium) and ate as much as we can for two hours. We ordered everything from edamame and miso soup to salmon nigiri and rolls galore! They were all very delicious and did not disappoint! It was also great that the restaurant allowed us to bring cake from outside so we can celebrate dessert afterwards. We were very full! Service was excellent. Overall, you don't see a lot of AYCE sushi restaurants nowadays so definitely go check it out. Parking structure is located behind the restaurant. Free for four hours. read more

Dining here was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Chaw and ammie were great servers and attention was made to each order. Before bringing out any plates, they would double check if everything was made correctly and if anything was missing from our order. The fish here tasted fresh and was delicious. It felt like it wasn't ayce quality but instead a typical sit down regular sushi restaurant! The standouts of the night were definitely the yellowtail and seared salmon. I was feeling super hungry after work so I came by after having this place in mind for a while since I saw the Yelp photos. Overall it was mostly what I expected. Nigiri: overall the slice thicknesses were good. Breakdown by type: Salmon- fairly disappointed. I got 1 good piece and 1 mediocre piece in my first round so I gambled on 3 more, which were all disappointing (refer to photos). Good salmon cuts have that nice fatty stripes Yellowtail- overall good quality and consistent. But it's not as good as Show Sushi's (in San Dimas) Squid- probably my favorite nigiri. Definitely these pieces vary by the chef preparing. The first round i had no yuzu sauce on top so when I got the second round I was pleasantly surprised and ordered more for the third round. Masago- not much to say except it didn't taste off so that's a good sign. Slightly loose on the packing. Raw shrimp- not really sure what this is about because it seems like semi cooked or cured. Looks like the raw marinated shrimp you can get at Korean restaurants. I was expecting something more like amaebi (sweet shrimp) but I know that's expensive but not bad as I ordered more after the first round Rolls: Caterpillar- good except it could've had more eel. Like double then amount. I barely tasted any inside Baja California- highkey the best one to try here? It's rare to see yellowtail used in rolls and as a topper? Fantastic. Paired with spicy tuna for the base which I prefer over California roll bases. Ponzu doesn't really make sense though if you're going to have have spicy tuna inside. Also the spicy tuna needs to be seasoned more. Albacore Delight- same as pretty much every other version at other restaurants. It's a safe but delicious combo. Ex-girlfriend- same as what they have at other ayce sushi places. But as a dish itself it mostly tastes like imitation crab and eel sauce. Caliente- same as ex-girlfriend except you can taste the shrimp tempura also Hand rolls: I ordered the avocado and salmon skin. I would not recommend the salmon skin as it was oily which was not harmonious with the hand roll. also the seaweed wrapper was hard to bite through. I just put the entire roll into my mouth because I couldn't bite off part of it. Would not recommend, just stick with nigiri. They look like the newer age trending hand rolls rather than the og rolls that are cone shaped which are more pleasant to eat. I did like the veggies inside but that's a small thing. Appetizers: Takoyaki- decent, and with a LOT of bonito flakes Spicy tuna crispy rice- the tuna needs to be seasoned!!! Or rather mixed with some kind of flavoring. I should not be dipping this in soy sauce if it's supposed to be an appetizer (other places season their tuna, but I would imagine they would say it detracts from the tuna quality. But then spicy tuna is made with off cuts anyhow) Shishito peppers- probably the best dish of the entire night! Texture was perfect, seasoned beautifully. I probably should've ordered another but I didn't want to get full off these. Overall I think it's a good option for ayce. But I compare every place to Sushi Show in San Dimas. Pros: shishito peppers, squid nigiri with yuzu sauce, Baja California roll, decor: spacious and fancy looking, good service (can only attest to a 5pm weekday seating), 1 piece nigiri orders (great if you're really min-maxing the variety) Cons: no ayce ikura (salmon roe) which Sushi Show has and I always order 10+ pieces of it there, salmon (a staple which I often see groups order dozens), can't do half orders of basic rolls which are 8 pieces (other places have these as 5-6 pieces) I don't usually veer from my go-to ayce sushi place but I'm starting to out of convenience. This place is good but I wouldn't come back unless they had something as appealing as ayce ikura. Having it be behind the premium tier while only giving you one piece of it per person then (unless I'm mistaken) is insanely... insane. For the reason of not wanting to come back on my own but I would still eat here, it gets 3 stars. read more

We came here for dinner with a group of four. Three of us ordered the all-you-can-eat option, but my girlfriend ordered à la carte because she has a medical condition and underwent stomach-sleeve surgery. The waitress told us that everyone at the table was required to order the all-you-can-eat option. My girlfriend explained her situation and said she simply wouldn't eat if that was the rule. The waitress returned and told us that the owner said if others at the table had all-you-can-eat, my girlfriend was "forced to eat." She actually said that word-for-word. At that point, we decided to leave. I've been to many all-you-can-eat restaurants, and I've never had an issue with someone at the table choosing à la carte for medical reasons. I've come to this restaurant many times before--I even grew up in Alhambra--but this experience was disappointing. Also it took 20 mins to collect our order sheet. Crane Sushi and Tomomi Sushi (previous owners and names of the restaurant) had handled these situations much better and are far more accommodating and respectful toward customers. read more

I like that you can mix and match the AYCE tiers here, meaning one person could get premium and the others could get basic. They had a large menu, and the fish was good quality. The only thing that wasn't good was the octopus, which was rubbery. Some dessert options, even just like ice cream at the end, would be great. Waited for about half hour during lunch time for a party of 4. The place was pretty packed. Once seated and ordered, the food arrived pretty quickly. You have a maximum of 3 rounds, and a charge of $1 per piece if any left sushi uneaten. Unlike many sushi restaurants, their nigiri is one piece per order, so do adjustments with ordering accordingly. Their salmon skin salad has big portion, but on a salty and drown with sauces.
