Always a great time and great service when I visit. We had the pleasure of having Rae as our server for lunch and she is the sweetest girl. I swear she makes you feel like anything you pick is the right choice. The staff was very attentive and our glasses were always full. For lunch, we ordered unlimited mimosa ($11), portabello fries, and the vegetable chop salad to start. The mimosa came with a glass of rosé with a brandied cherry at the bottom and a mini carafe of OJ which allows you to adjust the ratio to your liking. The veggie chop salad is one of our favorites, because it's not your average leafy green dish. It comes with an assortment of crunchy squashes and veggies smothered in a creamy cilantro dressing. A nice change for the palate. The portobello fries ($6)were thick slices of fried goodness with a creamy wasabi dip. Be careful these are addicting! For the main course, we had the steak frites and the hanger sandwich. The steak frites ($23) included a medium rare 4oz. filet with a side of creamy hollandaise sauce, two eggs, shoe string fries and grilled tomatoes on the side. The flat iron steak sandwich ($12) was good, but kinda messy to eat. Every bite taken, the slices of steak pulled apart the sandwich which eventually the bread was ate separately. Brunch, one of the most important meals of the week. The perfect combination of tasty food and alcohol. Finding the perfect balance requires well crafted food, good champagne, and great customer service. Highly recommended, Echo and Rig delivered. The restaurant was full, so we sat at the bar area. It worked for my group of 5, but I wouldn't recommend it for bigger parties. Beautiful view of the shopping center fountain. We were greeted straight away. Once the bottomless mimosas were ordered our glasses were never empty. They give you a baby jug of OJ and refill your glass with just champagne. The mimosas were $16.99, but with brunch from 9am to 3pm you can definitely get your fill. The avocado toast was amazing! I only wish it was bigger. My deconstructed salmon bagel was awesome. I was surprised by how much fish they gave me. When we mentioned it was Bub's birthday they brought him an ice cream cake dessert. Came here with 8 guys to celebrate a couple bdays. We decided to share a few of the larger cuts which worked out perfectly. We got 1 tomahawk and 2 porterhouse steaks. All were cooked medium rare and were perfectly charred. The inside was more on the rare side and very good. They cut the steaks for us so that it was easy to share. The sides were awesome as well. The Brussels were amazing with a slightly tangy flavor. The greens added the perfect contrast to the meat. The cauliflower was lightly crispy and really tasty. The peppers that they had gave it a nice kick. The portobello fries were a great change to your typical fries. Really crispy and the sauce it came with was perfect. Friends have recommended me this restaurant, I finally went to go check it out and was not disappointed. The service, and the food were great! The avocado veggie salad was great, the sauce was what gave it such a great flavor. I ordered the diver scallops and they were amazing. I wish the positions were a bit better, for what you are paying for. I also got the chicken sandwich which comes with a mouth watering fresh apple slices with some sort of vinaigrette on the side. The mushroom fries are what they're known for and know I understand why, they were amazing! It made me want to find the recipe and make them at home lol. Overall, I will definitely be going back. So I went here on a date recently.. the atmosphere was perfect for a romantic date! the host was very friendly and sweet. We walked up the stairs to a nice table by the windows. its far enough from other tables that you feel like you can have a nice conversation with the person you're with. The overall feel of the place is classy yet relaxing feel to it as well. The waiter we got was very attentive and was awesome. He was an older bald gentleman.. don't remember his name though. He seemed like he worked there for a while and knows his stuff. My date brought a couple of bottle of wines and the waiter was awesome at making sure the wine was poured into the glass decanter to bring out the flavor of the wine and he even poured it back into the bottle when we couldn't finish it all before we left. Service was amazing! top notch So for starters we ordered the bone marrow carne asada.. my dates favorite dish! It was alright for me.. we also had Maryland lump crab cake as well.. which was tasty but nothing amazing. Just a normal crab cake. So for dinner my date ordered the ribeye cap for $30 and I ordered the bavette which is supposed to be american kobe.. for $28. Price point for steaks is not bad.. the sauces they have for the steaks are pretty tasty too! So.. as far as my steak goes.. I was expecting a soft filet type of kobe steak... the steak I got was on the chewy side and definitely can't be cut with a fork.. I was not blown away by this steak.. I was expecting a better tasting steak with a better cut for what it was... maybe I should have ordered a the ribeye cap??.. which might of been more flavorful.. we also ordered sides too.. the mac and cheese.. was so good! as well as broccolini i believe... We really do love Echo and Rig. Brunch is our favorite time to come. Their short rib hash is amazing and has so much flavor. They have changed the way they are doing bottomless mimosas, which I actually love. Before, they would come around and fill your glass with champagne. Now it just comes with a bottle and you are able to share. I do not need an entire bottle of champagne to myself, so it is nice to be able to share. Their service is awesome. The reason I changed from 5!to 4 stars is because we have had probably 3 instances where our steak has been undercooked. They always fix it,but we wish it didn't happen so often. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. We were in Vegas for a trade show and I googled Grass Fed Steak. We found the restaurant by accident and we proceeded to eat there for 3 nights in a row! Our server Shane was absolutely amazing! He was extremely accommodating and very knowledgeable. His assistant Anthony was so attentive. The food was hands down the best I've had (and I've eaten at many fabulous steak houses). The entire experience from the front desk, to a drink at the bar to the entire dining experience was an absolute pleasure! I can't wait to return to Vegas in August and come back to have another fantastic meal!! Since we ate there three nights in a row - we got to try many things on the menu. You go to those steakhouses in the casino and the sides alone could be at least $20 each.... here there's options for $7/$8/$9! Avocado toast, portobello mushrooms fries, mussels, French onion soup.... there's more! Gotta come back to try em' all! Coke or lemonade, free refills for $2... no corkage fee for bottle wine (I'm not a wine drinker, just FYI for you... and in the plaza there's a place you to buy wine!) Give you an idea of how their good service doesn't mean fancy pricing. Valet parking is free (when we went..Ask for an update when you go..) I went here for a nice dinner with a visiting friend. The meal started off on a bad foot. We both ordered French onion soup and it was served with butternut squash in it. It's one of the only vegetables I don't like and it's not mentioned in the description on the menu. They were nice about taking it back and remaking it without the squash. We could have saved a step if their menu was a little more thought m thorough or if the server mentioned it. Their bread is tasty but I like a firmer crust. It was still good. My steak was slightly undercooked but it wasn't a huge deal and they did come to check on us. I didn't ask them to fix it because I was hesitant after the soup. The steaks were served with house made potato chips that has a nice texture but not much flavor. Their menu lists a seasonal sangria so I asked what it is. The server said "it's a rose sangria, is that okay?" Not really. A better description would have been nice. I also don't really think rose is the best option for winter. I can't say how it was because I ordered something else and I don't remember the name of the cocktail. read more

When we first visited Vegas in 2014, we tried this place once with a good friend. We were hooked from that point on up until Valentine's Day in 2017. We had a disappointing visit, but decided after a few years to try agin because we missed this place. We are happy we came back. This time we visited with some new friends who are regulars here. I had the ribeye steak with bearnaise sauce along with sides of roasted broccolini, fried calamari, and portobello fries with herb aioli. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium and the sides were excellent. I especially enjoyed the portobello fries and herb aioli. The herb aioli was amazing. It had just the right amount of flavor. What a pleasant surprise. After my first review we were not sure if we would be back at Echo and Rig, but extremely glad we tried this fantastic restaurant again. Sheryl, Director of Guest Relations, invited us back and so happy we took her up on the offer. Everyone from Diana, the manager, to Hugo, our server, made us feel like family. Service was exceptional and we had whatever we needed before we could ask. We ordered the Ribeye, New York Strip, and several sides. The meat was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious. We took Hugo's advice and tried the horseradish cream, which was a perfect accompaniment to a perfectly marbled steak! The broccolini and cauliflower were equally delicious. We capped the evening off with a delicious turtle sundae and sorbet. A sweet way to end a fantastic meal. "Will" was our server and he was over the top!!! Very informative, took great care of us without ever being pushy or annoying! The Filet was done to perfection, the Mac and Cheese delish and the Rye Manhattan...Wow! They even offered me a blanket because we were out on the porch(which was incredibly warm already!) This restaurant has been on my radar for a while now, so I was thrilled when my husband said that it sounded like the best option for a special night out. I called and made a reservation for our second wedding anniversary, which was quick and easy. On Monday night, we arrived a little early, and were seated right away. Echo & Rig is not only a swanky, elegant restaurant, but it is also a butcher shop. I absolutely adore this concept. We were checking out the meat display when a hostess asked us if we preferred the stairs or the elevator. We opted for the stairs, and I thought this was really nice of them to ask if there was a preference...it shows that they are looking out for their customers who may appear to be able bodied, but have problems walking or climbing stairs. The hostess wished us a very hearty happy anniversary. When we were seated, the manager came over and also wished us a Happy Anniversary. Talk about attention to detail. Everyone we interacted with that night congratulated us and wished us a happy night. Our server Hugo arrived and took our drink orders. We ordered the "Sweet Passionate Love" (for me) Nolet's Dry Gin, lychee liqueur, Green Chartreuse, , fresh passion fruit & lime juice, citrus soda. This was perfection. I absolutely loved every last sip. Light and refreshing, I was actually quite surprised, since I'm not usually a gin fan, but this sounded too good to pass up. I'm glad I ordered it. It was wonderful. We also ordered the "Black and Blue Mojito" for my husband. He's a huge mojito fan. Atlantico Platino Rum, blackberries, blueberries, fresh mint, fresh lime juice, sugar. This was a lovely mix of sweet and tart, and was really a great drink. Hugo was, in a word, incredible. Attentive. Prompt. He went over the whole menu with us, answering all of our questions, making suggestions. Service is always a deal breaker for me when it comes to dining out, and this was no exception. The food was wonderful, but the service really sealed the 5 stars for me. From Hugo, to the food runners, to the manager who seemed to be very hands on, and checked on us and several other tables frequently, its obvious that the staff takes pride in their work and want for their customers to enjoy every moment of their experience here. Now, the food!!! We opted for 3 small plates: Grilled Octopus, Gigante Beans & Green Olives: tender cuts of octopus. Delicious. Whatever sauce this was in, I want to drink it. The beans were amazing! Every element of this dish was great. Crudo, Diver Scallop, Tangerine, Asparagus, Cilantro. Raw scallops? Sign me up. Something we normally only get at sushi, I'm a huge fan of raw scallops. This was light. It was refreshing. There was a tiny hint of spice that I'm honestly not really sure where it came from, but what a delightful appetizer. Mac & Cheese. You knew I had to order this. Being the mac & cheese snob that I am, we almost didn't order this, but decided to as the first 2 small plates were very light, and we knew we'd have room. This is a 7 cheese mac. SEVEN. CHEESES. Of all the mac n cheeses I've tried out there, this one is second ONLY to Gordon Ramsay's truffle mack at his steak house. The noodles were perfectly cooked. It was creamy and cheesy. For me personally, it could have used just a tiny pinch of salt, but that's just being nitpicky. For our entrees, we had: Barramundi (for me) flash fried, spring onions, fresh peppers, sprouts, Ponzu. Is it possible to be in love with a fish? I'd only heard of barramundi one time before: Saturday watching "Hell's Kitchen." Its a very hearty, meaty fish, with a wonderful flavor. It was cooked to perfection, and paired really well with the peppers, onions and sprouts. The ponzu was delicious. Seriously, one of my favorite meals ever. My husband ordered the Bavette cut steak. Hugo recommended having this cut cooked to medium, as it is a highly marbled cut, and he said that their cooks tend to lean towards the rarer side of the temperatures. We took his recommendation, and it was perfect. Well seasoned, cooked to perfection, it was tender and delicious. The mushroom Rockefeller was a nice touch. We weren't super impressed with the garlic chips, though. It seemed just a touch...under elegant, if that makes sense. They're actually pretty tasty with the horseradish cream sauce. We tried that and the brandied mushroom sauce with his steak. They were both incredible, but the mushroom sauce was a perfect pairing. We ended the night with a complimentary sundae, the Caramel turtle, at Hugo's suggestion. It was delightful! Definitely a great ending to a delicious meal. Echo & Rig, you've stolen my heart. Let's start with the good; The Pork Belly burnt ends were out of this world good. The butchers sausage was great. Service was really good, our waiter was fantastic. Two people who ordered the skirt steak were happy. Now the bad; My steak(tri-tip) came out nearly raw, great crust, but inside was almost raw and got a little sick after. One of our group ordered a burger that legit came out raw, there were still pieces of fat that hadn't been rendered down. All in all, we were there for a birthday and it was pretty disappointing. I was seated right away with a reservation, I had a baby with zero expectations for them to have a sling or anything, as I was just going to put her infant carrier in her stroller. However, I was asked immediately if I wanted a sling, & it was promptly brought to me. The manager came over twice throughout our meal to check in to see how we were doing. Additionally, our server was wonderful, as he constantly checked in, and I never had to ask for a refill of my drink. The food was fantastic, and came exactly as advertised. While their happy hour offerings are a little light with none of the specialty cocktails discounted they do offer beer, wine, and mixed drinks at a discount with some food as well. I have tried the apps at dinner with my colleagues and it was spot on but brunch, that's where it is at. A nice brunch selection with bottomless mimosas and bloody Mary's on the weekends leads to a packed house. Reservations are highly suggested but the bar also offers the full menu. Like the meat? I usually "do not" leave reviews, however, in this case an exception I've made Went to a Sunday brunch couple of weeks ago, with my wife and son in law. Was pleasantly surprised at the layout and decor. Two floors one which houses a complete butcher shop, (impressive). Sat and ordered a roast hash and wife ordered a hash with scrambled eggs. We ordered the scramble to be "soft". Needless to say that the roast was extremely dry and the scrambled eggs could have served as soles in shoes. Frankly, I do not know how they got past whoever was in charge, but they did. At the time, we did not want to upset or son in law, since it was his invite, and I'm not saying we will never return. Just making note of this to prevent what could be an embarrassing moment given the price of items. One day we will return to try other items on the menu which look delicious, just not anything that has eggs. read more
