I met my friend for lunch. I had never been there before and I was skeptical. I'm glad that I went. The atmosphere when I first entered was terrific. I loved the butcher shop on the first floor. It was so cool. Walking up the stairs was fine for me, but next time I will take the elevator. Our food server was exceptional. She gave several recommendations and was spot on with each one. I had a burger and it was one of the best I have ever had. And I've had a lot. I've traveled the world and eaten at hundreds of high end burger/steak places. Had the opportunity to give Echo & Rig a second chance. I have dined here about 5 times in the last year. Four out of the five times I had a great experience. I took my family here last night for dinner and we had great service as well as good ambience. Our steaks were cooked exactly as we requested and very delicious. Once again we had an excellent experience at Echo & Rig. The service is always spot on and the food has always been excellent. I was having a hard time deciding between the Skirt Steak and the Ribeye Cap. I ended up going with the Ribeye. It was cooked perfectly and delicious. The Blue Cheese sauce to accompany my steak was so good! My wife ordered her go to which is a Filet. She said it was excellent. The Mac & Cheese was a nice sized portion to split. It was super good as well. We have tried many high end steakhouses in Las Vegas and usually leave them a little disappointed for their quality especially for the prices you pay. Not at Echo & Rig. Excellent dinner at Echo & Rig, and pretty amazing to get this level of steakhouse for the reasonable prices they offer. We arrived to find the bar downstairs and the rest of the restaurant upstairs. I couldn't help but think of the staff walking up and down this huge flight of stairs over and over, including the bar server who was repeatedly on the move carrying drinks up to the second floor. When the host asked us if we'd like to take the stairs or the elevator up, I said, "We only have to do this once - I think it should be your choice!" She chuckled it off and up the stairs we went. Unfortunately, and it's just luck of the draw from our reservation time, we were seated inside and adjacent to a mirror, meaning we did not have a view out to the beautiful Tivoli Village fountain. The nearby open kitchen was also dampening the vibe with their cool white UV lighting, so the overall feel in this part of the restaurant is just not that great. In the future, I'd make sure we are seated outside or near a window. Our server, Rey, was super friendly and attentive, rattling off the menu highlights and giving strong input and recommendations, always appreciated. New Fashioned - I was warned that it is sweeter compared to an Old Fashioned, and while it was, the New Fashioned was a very well-balanced cocktail. Portobello Fries - Highlighted as a menu favorite, it was basically portobello tempura, and at times, this "oiled veggie" tricks you into perceiving a meat-like texture. Still a mushroom through and through, a couple pieces shared in a group would be great, but five thick slices each for the two of us felt a little heavy. We'd probably order a basic caesar next time just to enjoy its cool crispness before the steak comes. Rib Eye Cap - Delicious! As explained to us, Echo & Rig steaks have more char, and holy moly did I enjoy every bite. I just can't put a 16 oz steak away, which made this 8 oz cap all the more perfect. The included mushroom rockefeller and garlic chips were not standouts, but they were nice-to-haves. Caramel Turtle - I didn't get that this was more of a deconstructed turtle sprinkled over ice cream until it arrived, but it worked out well for what it was. Very impressed overall and I'm sure with a future seating adjustment, Echo & Rig would be a five-star experience for me. read more

Absolutely terrible service, had a party of 4 and ALL OF THE FOOD that was supposed to be hot was completely cold, so cold that the butter wouldn't even melt on top of a steak. After a manager came to the table, he offered to either remake or comp and we could leave... we waited almost an hour for our food the first time (and it wasn't busy on a weekday around 5pm) so we opted for the comp and left. The manager also asked me if my contact information that I made the reservation with was correct (read it out loud next to other tables mind you) and told me that "a manager higher than he was" would call me in a few days... it's been over 3 months since that day and no one has called, sent a text or an email. I've been here a few times before over the years and this place has gone completely downhill. Used to be nice and upscale, now it looks like a boring cafeteria in the "dinning room". 100% not worth it. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

Celebrated my son's 25th birthday at Echo and Rig at Tivoli, it was delicious. Our reservation was for 8:45 for a party of 3, we were seated immediately upon arrival. The place was busy, all the tables seemed full, after sitting down our amazing waitress arrived with a huge smile and great energy. We received our drinks right away and we ordered appetizers immediately. The mushroom fries were the best, followed by the carne asada bone marrow, the steak tartare was also good, the burnt ends were delicious. For the main entrees we all ordered steak with our choice of sauce and my ribeye was perfect, charred on the outside but rare on the inside. So I had high hopes for this spot. Was pretty underwhelming though. Outdoors seating at 11am a must if weather is good. Be aware that a lot of those yummy Yelp photos you see are either 'weekend brunch items' or not available until they receive deliveries, later in the day. So I'd say this is most definitely a weekend or dinner spot. The starter bread and butter was ok, not the best I've had. Not a fan of the room temp hazy water with a side cup of pristine clear ice to add to your water with a fancy fork? Just do crisp, cool, clear ice water unless someone asks for room temp specifically. Appetizers were really good although waiter ordered us the burnt ends versus thick bacon. They let us keep the mistake and brought out bacon some time later, so that was fine. Main dish- Pork chops were delicious. My Ribeye.....when you come to a spot known for steaks-it better be cooked to perfection. Anyone who loves steaks knows the worst thing you can do is overcook a steak. Ordered medium rare. You can see the before and after. I could have eaten the best parts which were def cooked to perfection, but if I'm complaining I'm not going to eat it, please bring it out right. And they took the whole overcooked steak away and honestly by the time my steak came back out proper I was pretty full. I ate a few bites because there's nothing better than a freshly perfect cooked steak (would've been better the first time). But by that point I was so overstuffed and ended up taking a few bites and eating it the next day at home. What was irritating is the server didn't offer anything other than bringing it back out cooked correctly, MUCH later, forcing ME to request the manager look over the bill. Luckily, the manager apologized properly, really, and adjusted the bill appropriately. But please, if there's an error, don't put me in a position to have to ask like damn, really? I felt like the manager handled the situation appropriately by removing that steak and that was appreciated. Overall, the appetizers and alcoholic drinks were good. Ambiance good, but maybe the servers need to be more attentive. I might come back, but only to try brunch. read more

My crew and I come here at least once a year, and we often order the same things. Unlike pretty much every other restaurant in the world, every time we order lamb cigars, grilled octopus, and whichever steaks are the best on a given day, it's always 100% excellent! We recognize servers who have been working here as long or longer than we've been coming here. Lucas was the dude tonight, and he's worked with us previously. His energy and knowledge of his products is unparalleled. It's always amazing. We brought a lovely Amarone di Valpolicello tonight, which was great with our tomahawk. Cocktails: black & blue mojito, dress to empress, thyme of my life, gimlet, and espresso martinis... you genuinely can't go wrong with any one you choose. The Bloody Mary is garlic heavy, and their bottomless mimosas are priced perfectly. Entrees. I personally loved the steakhouse scramble. They were able to make the filet portion medium rare for me which I appreciated. Other great entrees in order of my liking were: NY egg sandwich, steak frites, short rib hash, and blueberry pancakes. You have to try the crab cakes! I live by the beach in CA but these... these were probably the best crab cakes I've tried. The sauce, the texture, the quality... fantastic! Dessert: the Carmel turtle had crunch, ice cream, sweet, big enough to share with 5 people (to me). When Augustin packed up our boxes he labeled each one which was appreciated. They seem to be known for their steaks so for brunch I wanted some kind of steak in my meal and I'm glad I chose that way, because wow... their cooks are able to perfect the cook preference of the steaks. As stated before, I've been coming to this restaurant for years. With the exception of one big hiccup and a few smalls ones, this place remains consistent and I feel safe being able to come here to celebrate special occasions. I brought my boyfriend (yet another, lol) in to celebrate his birthday in this lovely time of COVID and luckily enough, the service and the food quality are still superb. Actually, maybe even better. There was there was no real wait downstairs in the lobby and no * on the rib eye cap saying they may run out and heck if these are the two good things to come out of the coronavirus, I won't be mad. ;) I'm actually shocked they still do the free birthday dessert in this time too. To be greeted by the manager the way we were was the best start to a most memorable evening of fine dining. Having been born and raised in Las Vegas and having Directed 26 episodes of Gordon Ramsay's "Kitchen Nightmares", my take comes with longevity and knowing from experience what a fine dining establishment is. A friend had recommended Echo & Rig to try off the strip (15-20 minute drive). Definitely make reservations because this place gets busy! Beautiful plaza with a fountain in front of the restaurant and strung lights. There is indoor and outdoor seating available during "phase two." The first floor is where you can check in with the host, have a drink at the bar while waiting for your table, or look at meat options by a window to the right! We were seated promptly in the dining room upstairs and upon seating, we were offered choice of water (still or sparkling, both complimentary) and a basket of sliced fresh bread and butter. Mac & Cheese ($12): OMG!! This came in a little skillet with perfectly toasted breadcrumbs on the top and ooey gooey cheese spread all in between each piece of pasta. A must order side that fill satisfy your cheesy cravings (but not overly cheesy). Bavette ($29): A thicker cut of meat that looks like a mini log. I asked for mine to be cooked medium and it was perfectly cooked inside with a nice char on the outside. All steaks come with a side of mushroom rockefeller, house made chips , and a choice of sauce. I asked for chimichurri and felt the ratio of oil and parsley was a tad off (too much oil) but I used the charred onion sauce my hubby had gotten and it was delicious! Rib Eye ($39): Same rice char on the outside of the rib eye, cooked to a medium on the inside as well. I definitely preferred the rib eye over bavette but my hubby was the opposite! We were celebrating a birthday and were offered a choice of three desserts from the menu. Ended up selecting the berry shortcake. First the support team was outstanding including the manager whom personally greeted us and welcomed us! The food... Oh my god what a change. We loved this place so we were looking forward to returning. We returned for a Birthday. When we arrived the air curtain fan over the door was so loud you couldn't talk in the bar without yelling. We were seated for my wife's birthday dinner. To my surprise they no longer have scallops on the menu. So I ordered the swordfish, and she ordered a steak. Hers was cooked ok, my swordfish was raw in the middle. It was cooked frozen. Absolutely horrible. Nobody offered any excuse. They took it back, cooked it, and the waiter dropped it on our table and left. The customer service is gone, that made it special. We tried this restaurant based on online reviews. We shared the salmon and skirt steak. The steak was tender with great flavor. The salmon was cooked perfectly- melt in your mouth! The winter squash and broccolini were perfect additions to the meal. Our drink never ran low! We liked it so much, we came back for lunch. Again, we weren't disappointed. We chose Echo and Rigs in Henderson to celebrate my birthday and the birthday of my best friend's husband. We were very excited to try this location since driving all the way to Tivoli Village is not something either of us wanted to do. We were very disappointed to say the least! It took over an hour and a half to get any food to the table. We had to ask for bread and of course I'm gluten intolerant so I could not partake. But I thought having to ask, was very offputting. We were already over 30 minutes into our so-called dinner, and had not even been offered bread. Finally after an hour and a half we got our appetizers if you could call them that. My husband and I had a salad. Both of those were very good. My friends had the lobster cigars. They were small and quite disappointing. Neither really enjoyed them and found them greasy and lacking in actual lobster content. Almost 2 hours into our evening we finally got our entrées. They were delicious and I think everyone was finished within 15 minutes because we were so hungry. In terms of Service, we were very disappointed with Stephanie. She was absent to say the least. Our water girl Wendy was very attentive and actually did way more work. She was the one that ended up boxing our food. Last time I checked that's the job of a server. All our waitress did was literally take our orders. She never came back to check on us for drinks. We had to ask the water girl if we could order drinks. And even then the waitress messed up our drinks. I asked for a dirty martini. Not sure how hard that is , but it came back as straight vodka in a glass. After waiting over 15 minutes to even get the drink it wasn't even worth it to send it back. I just left it on the table. We had planned an evening out on the town to celebrate, but by the time we left dinner, I had a throbbing headache, and was so nauseous because I had waited so long to eat that we just ended up calling it a night. I was very disappointed because everyone works so much, and we hardly have time to get together as a foursome, and now an event that we had planned for months was pretty much ruined. I was so excited to order my side dishes for Thanksgiving from here. Normally the food is very good from Echo & Rig .... I pre-ordered mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing and dinner rolls. The rolls were hard and over baked. The stuffing was so dry it looked like old bread. The gravy was so full of dark meat turkey that it looked like thick turkey soup ... Let start with the service...my "petite" friend ordered the Butcherstrone, and a meal. The waiter said it was very filling and suggest the mushroom soup, as she would not be able to eat her meal. Where do I start...... Echo & Rig is simply amazing. From the beginning you are welcomed into a great looking location with a chill ambiance. The staff are all very friendly and extremely knowledgeable at their craft. Chef Sam has established a great dining experience for all to enjoy. Everyone in our party was extremely satisfied with their main course and all the sides. Hugo was wonderful in giving us the details of all the meals and he even went out of of his way to give my daughter a drink to make her feel better because she had been feeling under the weather before us getting to the restaurant. We had: Caesar salad Two steaks (one skirt one hanger) with an extra sauce Macallan 18 scotch One cocktail Two desserts One double espresso Bill: $170 and the scotch was like $45 alone All of the food was really great. I came here for a date night several years ago and remember being disappointed in the service and felt the food was merely ok, which didn't justify the cost in my opinion. The only reason I came back was that my gf & I had signed up for a foodie tour and this happened to be the first stop. I arrived early but my friend was stuck in traffic and arrived seven minutes after our start time. The hostess had assured me that it would not delay us in our tour since the restaurant was slow at that time. She showed me to the table they had reserved for us which was a tiny one tucked away at the edge of the downstairs bar, an area w very little ambience and I was surprised at how plain and beat up the tables looked since this was supposed to be a high end place. When my friend arrived there was still a few min delay before being greeted by the server and it went downhill from there. When I went upstairs to the restroom I saw how much nicer the tables looked up there and immediately felt that as prepaid "taster" customers, we were intentionally placed away from the main dining room to keep tables open for full-priced dinner guests (though the upstairs was only about 45% full). We waited about 25 min until our triple-sample plates arrived (giving us less than 10 minutes to eat if we wanted to remain on time for our next scheduled location). When the food was dropped off it was with very little description, though the whole point of the foodie tour was to experience unique specialties of each restaurant to ideally return in the future as a regular customer. The "medium" cooked steaks we ordered came out partly medium rare. The accompaniment was simple kettle-type potato chips. Not impressive. The other dishes were pork belly burnt ends which were tasty, and portobello mushrooms prepared kind of like bland potato skins with a very small portion of delicious sauce, which we ran out of about halfway through but since the service had been spotty we didn't feel a request for more would be received well. Nobody came by to check in if we needed water refills, and no food check except immediately after the food was dropped off (too soon to tell). So in summary, food and service are subpar for the price and image the venue presents. If you've never been, I suggest you don't waste your time. read more

My fiance's boss told us about Echo & Rig and we were both craving steak so we decided to give it a try. When we arrived, we walked in and were asked by the hostess if we had a reservation. We did not. However, the hostess was very nice and told us they can seat us outdoors in about 10 to 15 minutes. She took my fiance's phone number and name and said he would receive a text when the table was ready. We were okay with sitting outside because the weather has cooled down tremendously and it was not too warm and not too cool. We received a text less than ten minutes later. When we walked back into the restaurant, we were seated immediately. The hostess who was seating us asked if it was our first time dining with them and we told her yes. Shortly after being seated, the manager of the restaurant, Diana, came and welcomed my fiance and I by name. Afterwards our server, Lucas, came and introduced himself to us. He was very bubbly and kind. I really loved his tie clip! It said 9 & 3/4 and I'm a huge Harry Potter fan so that was awesome ^_^ Lucas said he would bring us out some waters and then bring the meat from the butcher block downstairs to show us in case we decided to order those. Lucas brought back the waters quickly and asked if we'd like anything else to drink. I ordered a white sangria, and my fiance said he'd stick with water. Lucas went to go bring the meats for us to look at, and in the meantime we received bread and butter. The bread tasted very good, however it was cold. I was surprised it was wrapped in a towel because I thought that is meant to keep the bread warm. The butter was whipped and creamy. My drink came out and it was fruity and refreshing. While waiting for Lucas to return, we noticed there was one server who was taking care of the rest of the tables on the dining patio, and Lucas was serving indoors and then our outdoor table. It took a little longer for Lucas to come back to us, but I know he had other tables plus he was handpicking meats to come show us at our table. He came back and showed us all the meats, which were all very marbled and VERY thick. We decided to go with steaks that were on the menu: a ribeye cooked medium rare and a bavette cooked medium (recommended by Lucas) with chimichurri and and red wine demi sauces on the side. We also ordered appetizers: mac and cheese, pork belly burnt ends, and prawns. We asked if we could substitute the garlic chips for fries (we saw the fries as a side for the burger) and unfortunately they couldn't do that so we just stuck with the garlic chips. Our pork belly burnt ends and prawns came out less than 5 minutes later. The prawns were amazing and I really loved the cocktail sauce. The burnt ends were also very moist and flavourful. No more than ten to fifteen minutes later, our entrees arrived with the mac and cheese. I'm actually glad they brought the mac and cheese with our steaks because it served as a nice side for us to share. Right before they put our plates on the table, one of the servers ran out to ask if one of the plates was the bavette because it looked a bit thin. They took it back inside, and Lucas explained what was happening. They came back with the correct meat. We thought it was great that they caught it before putting the plate down on the table. My fiance cut into the bavette, and it was cooked a perfect medium. I cut into my ribeye and it looked like it was blue rare. I cut into different parts of it to see if maybe it was just that one part, but it was the whole thing. When the main person who was serving the outdoor tables came by, I waved him down and before I even said anything, he saw the ribeye and said "that looks very rare." and we told him that I had ordered it medium rare, so he took it back inside and had the chef cook it to medium rare. In the meantime, I had some of my fiance's bavette, and it really melted in my mouth like butter. I tried it with the chimichurri which I loved the flavour of. I also tried with the red wine demi and was not a fan because it was too sweet. Lucas brought out my ribeye shortly after. I cut into it and it was a perfect medium rare. It tasted VERY good after it was cooked to the right temperature. Lucas came by to make sure everything was good and we gave him the thumbs up. I had to save some room for dessert. I ordered the caramel turtle and it came out less than five minutes after I ordered it. It was a caramel ice cream with toffee peanut brittle and chocolate chunks mixed in and whipped cream and caramel sauce on top. It was very rich, but very good. I could not eat the whole thing because I was about to burst. Overall, everything was reasonably priced and the service was pretty great. We really did enjoy our first time at Echo & Rig and can't wait to come back to try more things on the menu. read more

I've been here three times, each time with a group of 6- 10 people. I keep going back hoping it will get better but it does not, but no more. Each time they were out of the rib cap, one time we even called ahead to reserve it. Prices are very cheap though, so we get lots of dishes to share - appetizers, almost all the steaks and many of the seafood entrees. Last time, I'm not kidding, ALL the dishes we ordered were super salty. Had to send my steak back and ask them not to salt it at all. Never again! read more

This place is an awesome steak place! It's located in Tívoli village in summerlin area of Las Vegas. A lot of places to try out and you can definitely spend your entire evening there. The restaurant itself is very elegant and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend that you try it if you're looking for a great steak and a nice night out. read more

This place has been amongst my favorite restaurants ever since our first visit. We now eat here every year on our anniversary! Every time the host staff has been friendly and attentive, the manager comes and greets us once seated, and the phenomenal service continues from our water glasses being refilled, to attentive servers making sure you're happy. The cuts of steak are reasonably priced, and delicious! I don't even eat mushrooms, but I do eat the delicious Rockefeller mushroom that comes with the steak. The homemade kettle chips are delicious and also come with the steak. For apps we had the calamari, pork burnt ends, mashed potatoes, and my son had the Mac and cheese as his meal. We also shared two ceased salads for three of us, and it was plenty. I can honestly say everything we had was not only delicious, but also cooked to our tastes. My only slight complaint (not really complaining) would be that my wife found two small bones in her salmon entree that luckily she didn't swallow. Echo and Rig can be a little pricey depending on how much you order, but it's completely worth it for the outstanding service, and ambiance. We will be back no doubt! read more

We just had their happy hour fish and potato chips.. I'm from the UK and am picky about how the fish is prepared especilly the batter, This was excellent . Always love coming here as the bartenders, Matt and Brad are great and that is what keeps us coming back read more

The food is excellent here. Got the fries with steak. The teriyaki sauce is more of an afterthought, I'd prefer there not being any and let the steak juices shine through. Still delicious. The HH drinks are a steal. The Denver or zabuton steak is very flavorful and they did a great job on the sear. read more
