It says clearly on the initial contract there is a 10% charge for use of credit -- which you can also view as a 10% cash discount. It's true I saw a mover check his phone a couple times and make a brief call, but for goodness sake these dudes are moving heavy stuff for 4 hours straight! A 2 minute break seems reasonable. Only 4 stars because yes I have used a company in the past off Yelp that was both faster and cheaper -- but the next day one of the movers tried to cash a personal check they stole from my stuff. I researched all the local movers and picked the one with a combination of lowest price with high scores. The first place was not able to accommodate my time so my second choice was Eco Moving. My two points of contention. They charge a "stairs" fee. Since I am on the third story, this was a big cost. The way it was listed on their confirmation, it looked as if it was only for heavy items. 60% of the items were on the ground floor, very few non heavy items were located on the third floor. But still got charged a lot more. With that charge, they now became the MOST expensive movers in the area. The other 4 I contacted had no stairs fee and it's the first time I'd seen this. Second point of contention is that one of the two guys just didn't work hard. He let the other guy work hard, and he moved slow. Caught him on his phone, and just no hustle. Left two stars because the two guys were professional and courteous. And they got my items from point A to point B without breaking or damaging anything. Thank you read more

Daniel and Eric were life savers!!! I had hired another company to show up at 10am and at 10:15am they called to cancel because the two movers had both called out. So I was scrambling to find another company on short notice, and on a Sunday. I needed to take items to my storage unit and to my new place. Eco Moving not only replied promptly but they scheduled me for the afternoon at 3pm. Due to traffic and the previous job being in Irvine, they didn't get here until 5pm so we couldn't do the storage unit. But, because of the circumstances, they agreed to leave the items meant for storage locked in their truck overnight and I will be meeting them in the morning to unload. Daniel and Eric were very polite and man, they were fast. Everything was loaded in an hour and they got the mattress up the stairs and set up. Considering they were technically done for the day, after four previous jobs, the fact they came out and helped me when I was almost panicking was amazing.
