Service was super slow this day. We came in right when they opened and we were the only customers but it took 30 minutes for our order to come out. I got the tan tan men and it was just okay. Nothing special. The broth was a little over salted and for taking so long i dont think my noodles were cooked all the way, they were still stuck together. Ill have to try their other Ramen more later in the day during another visit

We enjoyed our takeout order this evening. Our order was called in to a very friendly employee. She repeated the order over the phone and indicated when it would be ready. We were greeted by a friendly employee. She proceeded to help patrons on her way back to the kitchen. Our food was ready as promised. Nicely packaged and was still hot when we got home. Best of all the portion of food was plentiful and very tasty! The yelp menus online were very dated. I captured updated menu images and posted.

Everything there is so tasty and fresh! The service is fantastic too! Mary is so accommodating!

What to do when having dark and gloomy days? We decided to come to our favorite Edokko Japanese restaurant for lunch. It sits in Pocket area in Sacramento. It is small but very cozy place and has hundred of tasty Japanese comfort foods. We have been coming here over 30 years since our kids were little. It's the best and probably only one Machi Chūka style restaurant in Northern California. And the prices are very reasonable.

Yes. They are open inside! I have now been coming here for 30 (yes, thirty) years and in my opinion they are even BETTER than ever. Everything is fresh and flavorful and served hot and the food quality has continued to improve, even though I really didn't think it could get any better. The service is outstanding (shout out to Ben!!)

Please consider bringing back the chardonnay. Server told us we could bring our own bottle, but that's a hassle when all I want is one glass of cold chardonnay. Otherwise, food is great, portions are ample. Best thing about the Bento box is 2 pieces of shrimp in the tempura mix, plus option to add 5-piece gyoza for $4 more. Rolls are wonderful, with fave local-themed Riverside and Greenhaven. Happy hour prices and choices are definitely something to check out. Servers are very attentive even when busy with in-house and take out orders. Would have given a 5-star review, but only 4 due to no more chardonnay.

We were actually supposed to try my girlfriend's favorite place. I guess next time we'll try her place. This has been the go place for the past couple of years for my girlfriend and I. She lives around the corner so this place is so convenient. They have ample parking as they share a lot with others in the strip mall. If you're lucky you can even get a parking space in-front. We've been lucky once and it was nice. Usually we park down a row. Their hours from 11:30am -8 pm. We usually get there at 11:30am to beat the crowd. Today we arrived around 1pm and we just hit the take out frenzy time. I can't believe how many take out orders they had. They just kept coming. Someone even ordered their hot food tray. The people kept streaming in to pick up their orders. Actual in restaurant guest were down to 3 tables. There had to be around 8 to go orders during the time we were there. It could be due to the storms that were on and off all day. I can't blame people for not wanting to come out. At one time it was pouring buckets. Not just a drizzle or hard rain it was coming down like a garden hose was turned on high. To our happy surprise you can get their lunch special Bento Boxes on the weekend. That was a surprise as most places don't offer their lunch specials on the weekends. The lunch specials are offered from 11:30am-3;30pm. The Bento Box is $15.50 (4-11-26) served with rice, salad and sunomono for dine in only. You can pick any two from a long list of options and unlike some places the Salmon isn't an up charge. I got the Chicken Teriyaki and miso asparagus. The asparagus is blanched and served with a miso based sauce. I find both very tasty. My girlfriend got the Chicken Teriyaki and Sesame Chicken. The Sesame Chicken is battered and fried and topped with the same teriyaki glaze that the chicken Teriyaki is topped with. I tried her Sesame Chicken and it was very good, but I prefer not eating fried foods. The other dish that I really like is the agedashi tofu. That's crispy battered tofu. So tasty. I'm glad we came here for lunch today. It was extremely tasty and just the right amount to fill our tummies and with enough food to take home for a snack later. If you haven't tried Banzai Sushi you should and come for the lunch special. It's the best deal around town.

I don't always know what to order at new places - so I liked that they had signs for specials as well as "favorites." We ordered the Rice with Teriyaki Chicken, Oliver's Favorite which was Spam Musubi and Spam and Bacon Fried Rice and Mom and Dad's Forbidden Feast. Everything looked and tasted really good! Obviously, it would have been much better had we actually eaten in the restaurant, but still no complaints once we got it home. Spam Musubi is one of my favorite things to eat so I could have downed like 5 of them! Portions were huge too - they even have a 100 year old teriyaki recipe! Overall, I would definitely come back and try other items! Staff were also very friendly, personable and gave great recommendations! Check them out!

First off, Tokyo Table is kinda hidden within a neighborhood that if you didn't know about it, you can easily pass it without knowing. There's a Mexican restaurant next door, and some other businesses nearby but otherwise it's blending into the neighborhood. Upon arriving, every table was filled both their indoor, outdoor and even bar top seating, taken! Then there was a handful of people plus others in line to put their name down on the waitlist. This only means one thing: the place is good. After waiting 40 mins we were seated. Jenny was our server, she was nice and attentive. Food came out within a reasonable time. The must try appetizer I would recommend is the peso tuna. The panko battered jalapeños were such a treat. For rolls, the Broadway was perfect (see pic). For drinks I ordered the Matcha-Tini. I appreciated the bitterness of this drink, the matcha was very present that it overpowered any alcohol presence, which made it very easy to drink LOL. Would I visit Tokyo Table again? Absolutely.

I'm less a fan of imitation crab and was surprised to see tamago - but hey, protein is protein. (4 stars) 4. To all my canto peeps, this will be the place where you feel like home. However a tad variation of preferences to taste buds. My family is from a different area from the Mr. with a different flavor profile than his. So here is our take: braised beef noodle soup - we loved but the Mr. loved it more. Soup reminded me of shoyu ramen with garlic. Simple, soothing and flavorful. I loved it but it was missing a few spices I am personally used to such as more spice mix and pickled mustard greens. House Fried Rice (Thursday special) - this was simple yet satisfying. With shrimp and Chinese sausage in it. Carb overload but it was such a comfort food we cant help but finish it. House soup dumplings which we also liked but again he loved this one more also. Again, simple yet flavorful, clean comfort food while i felt the skin was a tad thicker than what I prefer. So this one depends on your preferences. Regardless, this was still good. Ambiance: clean and welcoming. They have a TV screen to highlight their food items with pictures which I always love to help me find what i want to eat. But wont lie, it makes me want to get every item on there. They all look yummy. Service: Its a family run restaurant and one person serving everyone plus seating and taking the bill. So during rush hour, do expect wait times but I completely understand and don't mind it. I can see they are busy and would rather than go to a place that is slow where the server walks like a sloth. That is always an eye sore to me. Cost: prices are reasonable and same to any other places similar. Parking is in a huge plaza and can be crowded during rush hour but still enough just may need to walk further a bit. If we ever travel this way again, will definitely be back!

There is a designated parking lot across the street, so it's easy to grab a spot and walk over. Just be careful because the parking spots in the lot aren't well marked and it's easiest to just park neatly next to other cars. We like to sit at the bar if there's just two of us, and will grab a table when we have friends. If you want to make sure you have a table, you can make a reservation ahead of time, but we usually don't need to wait too long. Our favorites are the brussel sprouts, karaage chicken, and their nigiri. We also really enjoy the sukiyaki, it's really flavorful and perfect for cooler or rainy weather. We still need to come by for brunch, but we've heard good things. The team here is always friendly, and we've been in enough that some of them recognize us now.

I will preface this by saying I should come back and judge based off their main menu offerings,…read morehowever they offer a separate brunch menu and that is what I had for my visit at fuji sac. We orderd the loco moco and breakfast fried rice with scrambled eggs. The eggs were deliciously scrambled. The fried rice was ok. The big concern was my burger patty was really burnt. The consistency and flavor of the gravy was interesting. We were the first visitors of the day so I'd say while it eventually filled up, not sure the reason behind burned food. Also, with a full bar, bloody marys were not available. Really unfortunate for brunches. However, I understand this is mainly a sushi joint? So maybe I will need to come back for sushi sometime.

I also wished I lived closer so that I could conveniently grab food to go on a regular basis…read more I got to try a selection of their inari bombs, egg salad, spicy crab, spice tuna, spicy salmon, and yuzu miso salmon. The yuzu miso salmon was the most flavorful, and the spicy crab was much spicier than the spicy tuna or spicy salmon. Though, what surprised me the most was that even as leftovers the next day, the rice was not hard and still tasted great the next day!

I loved Rice Theory. Lots of convenient handheld snacks packed ready to go. I wish I lived closer…read moreto buy more regularly, but it's probably better for my bank account that I don't! I got there before noon on a Sunday, so I had great selection. My eyes were bigger than my stomach, so I impulse purchased a lot on my long awaited first visit. I think I spent at least $50. Bill adds up fast. Price range is $2 to $9.50 as of June 2026. The most common price or mode is $4.75. There is a rewards punch card. I think you get a stamp for every $15 you spend. These were my favorites: * Sukiyaki Beef Roll $5 * Unagi Shrimp Roll $6.50 * Mayo Wasabi Salmon Inari $4.75 * Unagi & Egg Musubi $5.25 Depending how large each item is and how hungry you are, I would say order 1-3 items. Sukiyaki Beef was my favorite filling. Other Yelpers liked the Kurobuta Sausage the best, but I don't love its texture. I plan to try the onigiri one day. The SPAM & Bacon Onigiri and Spicy Beef Onigiri look appetizing. Some ingredients can fall out or fall apart, so they can be messy to eat. If you use sauces, that could lead to drips. The rolls fully wrapped in nori seaweed sheets and the musubi are the better handheld items. You can get fresh soy milk and Chinese herbal teas here. I would be interested in trying the well-rated Prunella tea in the future. Small barebones restaurant with limited seating: 2 tables for 2 and 2 long benches. Most customers order to go. There's an area with sauces (Unagi, Teriyaki, Yuzu, Sriracha, Soy), condiments, sauce containers, utensils, and napkins.
