I am super sad to update my review with a way lower rating. But the breakfast that we got today was only like the first 5-star worthy experience in looks alone. The 2 sammiches & tots that we got were gorgeous, and packaged securely to go. But all the items were WAY over salted. To the point where we couldn't eat more than a few tots each & 1-2 bites of the sammiches. After we had that small amount of food, we were both so over salted that we drank water nonstop for the rest of the day. We are wondering what else besides salt could have caused this severe of a reaction. Maybe msg? The last time we ordered tots, they were just salted but this time they had a seasoned salt all over them. And that same flavor was all over the sammiches. Maybe that seasoned salt has msg in it. I could see how someone would like this, but it was starting to gross me out and didn't even finish it. And for "pure orange juice", it tasted like Minute Maid. They mainly focus on beef/galbi, and I wish they had other meat options beside ham/bacon, as you would imagine korean fusion would include something like pork belly. Price wise it was $10.50 before tax/tips, so not too bad, and it definitely kept me full. My main comments were that the service was way too slow. It took around 20 minutes to get my sandwich, and for reasons unbeknownst to me, people who ordered after me got their items much sooner. I would suggest ordering online ahead of time if you are coming for lunch. When comparing egg sandwiches though, I would have to say eggslut wins by a smidge, just because they have more choices in terms of style of sandwiches and choice of protein. read more

I ordered the Royal West Egg Sandwich with a side of tater tots, and it didn't disappoint. It a Korean galbi patty, a over medium egg, house sriracha aioli, cheese, chives and grilled onions, all between two thick slices of house made brioche bread. It was super tasty and the egg yolk was just a little runny, perfect! They give a good amount of tater tots that were crispy and well seasoned. The restaurant is very clean and bright inside. Staff is friendly and service is fast. You place your order using a kiosk when you enter and then grab a seat, they have ample table seating inside. I got the royal west, which was damn good - it had much more weight and meat to it than expected and is very, very reasonably priced relative to the rest of la. I came here for lunch on a Thursday at around noon and it wasn't very busy, quite easy to find seating. The egg sandwiches here are stuffed and super tasty - the scrambled eggs are soft, buttery and creamy and they're served on the softest, billowiest brioche bun you've ever had. I am a little greedy with food so I got the avocado egg sandwich but also added some bacon for a little extra and I did not regret it - the bacon adds a bit of an umami hit while the avocado accentuates the natural creaminess of the scrambled eggs in the sandwich.
