I wanted a quick breakfast spot before I went to the Getty Villa museum and it exceeded expectations. One thing I want to note is this place isn't to hang out. It's more of a grab n go. My friend and I actually just bought our sandwiches and ate at the jack n box on the other side. The sandwiches were absolutely delicious and the hash browns complement everything so well. If your looking to break your diet, this place is worth it. hah

Their egg sandwich is delicious, really good fluffy eggs with a brioche bun, they had a few choices and some coffees. I shared it and even half of one was pretty filling. The spot was very small and only offered to-go (no dine in) and not a lot of room inside the restaurant. There was also some homeless ppl outside but the staff was kind and quick. Def a good value for their breakfast sandwiches.

Love it when we stumble upon a good place!! I did a hardcore leg workout in the gym and wanted a well rounded meal. Ordered Spicy royal burrito and was apprehensive of the Korean patty but I'm so glad I tried it. It was decent spicy so no need to add hot sauce ( which was provided separately) the eggs were fluffy, the tortilla was thin and the patty was delicious Mr. Ordered the classic egg sandwich and praised the fluffiness of the eggs as well. The service was quick and we ate while enjoying the sunshine outside. We will definitely keep coming back! P.s. if only the offered gluten free tortillas!! Nevertheless 5/5

Egg Tuck is a small chain of Egg sandwich restaurants with several locations in LA and a couple in Chicago. This was my first visit. The shop is small, essentially a counter and small waiting area, and doesn't allow eating in. The front is clean but a little busy, with an open kitchen and multiple racks storing supplies (see photos). At the front were two touch screens to place orders. While the entire store is built for speed, efficiency, and takeout, I would have appreciated being greeted, given recommendations, and asked if I had any questions, as there were 5 employees working there at the time. In my humble opinion, touch screens are not appropriate for small locations with many employees. Why type into a screen when there are several people right in front of me standing around? I got the Bacon & Cheese Egg Sandwich ($11.29) with a small tater tots ($2.50). The sandwich was utter perfection; creamy, rich eggs perfectly contrasted with a crisp, robust, generous proportion of bacon, squeezed between two buttered pieces of toasted brioche bread. This was my first true egg sandwich from a restaurant and I will now be spoiled forever; Egg Tuck clearly have perfected the egg sandwich recipe. The crispy bacon complementing and contrasting with the egg sandwich were the strongest aspect of the sandwich, and highly recommended. The tater tots were nicely seasoned and great, but not exceptional. For a total check, including tip, at $17.50, Egg Tuck makes for an expensive lunch, but the quality and product are peerless. If you are hungry and looking for a unique, perfectly optimized sandwich you can't get elsewhere, Egg Tuck fits the bill. Check them out! Food: 5/5 Service: 3.5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Value: 4/5

Egg Tuck is a regional chain. Found this a block and half from my hotel(PaliHotel). Don't know about the rest, but this location is strictly take out only with lots of signage telling you not eat on premises. That said there isn't much ambience, the cashier girl was nice enough, just super busy on a Monday morning. $11.50 Egg and Ham Sandwich...quite tasty! The eggs and sauce were very light and fluffy. The ham was, well ham' the cheddar cheese blended well with it all. The toasted brioche slices were buttery and heavenly. That said, this is the kind of hot food item that really needs to be consumed within 15 minutes. If you wait too long, the eggs will get cold, the sauce will congeal, and crispy brioche bread will get soggy. At least with Take Out, don't have to leave a 15-20% tip.

I got the eggcellent burrito add soyrizo, cheese, and avocado. The egg and aioli are so good, the additions honestly aren't needed, so get whatever you want. The soyrizo overpowered the egg a bit. It's small inside with no seating. They're processing a lot of online orders so you may have to wait for your food even if there are only a few people inside.

Egg tuck sandwich with soft scrambled eggs

This Korean stuffed egg sandwich concept - was incredibly good. I think I finished it in less than 5 mins, I couldn't put it down. The egg is soft scrambled, so it can get a bit messy, but it was well put together. The place itself is small and only has a waiting area, so plan to just pick up and go.

If you're looking for the fluffiest egg and perfectly buttery toasted bread this is the spot. The sandwich seems so simple but I loved the addition of the egg sauce and chives.

Very small grab and go place that makes the fluffiest egg sandwiches! There was a line when we visited but the service was very fast and we only waited 15 minutes.

The first bite is magical! This has become one of my all time favorite breakfast spots and love that they have delivery services. Highly recommend.

Tucked away in a strip mall you will find a delicious egg sandwich. They have burritos and other items as well if you are not feeling in a sandwich mood. You order on the tablet and wait time was around 10 minutes. Total for the sandwich and tots was less than $20. This fed my friend and I as we wanted a snack. The sandwich was full of flavor. Brioche was fluffy and toasted. The aioli and egg sauce made the sandwich very creamy. My friend said that it was a tad too sweet for his liking. The Korean patty was a little added protein as the sandwich would have been just as good with the egg itself. The tots were crispy all around. There was sauce on every tot and it wasn't overwhelming. We broke the egg and used the yolk as a dipping sauce as well. It was the perfect portion and we did not waste any of the food. There is no indoor seating so we just ate in the car and threw away the trash inside the store.

    Original royal west

Fantastic -- pricy gig sandwich, but you're spending a few extra bucks on a quality. Which is with it! I've come here plenty of times. I've had their original avocado egg sandwich, original Eggcellent burrito, but the crown and jewel is their royal west. The large fluffy brioche bun -- one of the best in town. Super pillowy , grilled almost like a French toast brioche. The eggs are purposefully a little weee undercooked, so it can get that super-fluffy White curdle . I don't like avocado on anything, minus a Cobb salad. It's basically a veggies butter that has not real taste, but if you're a vegan they have specialty options for you. The royal west: Signature patty (blend of pork/beef at most locations); medium egg, cheddar cheese, grilled onion, pickles, fresh chives on eggs, sriracha , egg sauce on pillow brioche grilled bun. It's a more caloric, savory almost dinner like breakfast sandwich that will function as a palliative For all those experiencing a Hollywood hangover. This is the best option for you. The 'tots are some of the most crunch crispy that need not require any sauce . They stand on their own . I wish they used an all-beef patty for their Hollywood location. Let's make this happen please

    David S.

What a way to start the day! Creamy eggs, buttery brioche, the bacon was good, but not needed. There is so much going on with this sandwich. Easy to make a mess, and you do not want to waste any. You have to take it to go, so be prepared, this requires a lot of napkins.

I ordered a loaded carne asada-style dish served over fresh greens, and every bite was intentional and well-balanced. The beef was deeply seasoned, tender, and slightly crisped in places, which added great texture. It was topped with a creamy, slightly tangy sauce that tied everything together without overpowering the meat. What really stood out was the attention to detail: pickled red onions for acidity, fresh greens for balance, and a side of house-made pickled vegetables that cut through the richness perfectly. The tostada-style side topped with avocado, herbs, and onions added a nice contrast--crunchy, fresh, and vibrant. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Portion size was generous without feeling excessive, and the dish felt hearty yet clean. I paired it with a refreshing citrus drink that complemented the meal well and kept everything light. Overall, this is the kind of place where you can tell the kitchen cares about execution. Bold flavors, great balance, and a presentation that looks just as good as it tastes. I would absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying, well-crafted meal

She handed us menus and told us to order at the counter when we were ready and they serve breakfast all day. The menu can feel a little intimidating. It has Mexican, Guatemalan and Salvadoran which I am not all that familiar with. We landed on a couple of pupusas and a couple of fish tacos. There are signs letting you know the food is cooked to order and to expect a 20-25 minute wait, so at least they set expectations up front. The dining room was small but warm and colorful and there were additional tables set up just outside the front door. We had no problem finding a table inside. When the food came out, the portions were generous and the presentation was better than you'd expect from a humble neighborhood grill. The pupusas were crisp on the outside with plenty of filling, and the fish tacos were fresh and well-seasoned -- nothing greasy, nothing bland. Friendly service, solid food, and a spot I'd definitely come back to now that I know what to order.

The food was just as memorable. The chicken Parmesan was everything you want it to be: crispy, flavorful, and topped with a rich, perfectly balanced marinara and plenty of melted cheese. The Rigatoni Vodka (we added a meatball) was equally impressive. The vodka sauce was creamy without being overly heavy, and the meatball was tender, well seasoned, and packed with flavor. One thing to know before you go: parking can be a nightmare. There is valet in front, or you can opt for parking in the surrounding neighborhood. You're better off grabbing a rideshare if you can. It makes the experience much easier, especially if you plan on enjoying a few drinks. Between the beautiful ambiance, generous portions, and delicious food, this is an easy recommendation. We'll definitely be back.

As we walked in, nothing caught our attention more than the brilliant lively atmosphere. As we took our seats we awaited what would surely be a culinary journey. We ordered the margarita pizza, the calamari, the meatballs, garlic bread, and the pasta pomodoro. Fortunately and unfortunately, our first dish of the night happened to be the garlic bread. The bread locked. It's garlic butter flavor, or that of flavor at all. if it was all we had ordered, Met Him At A Bar would surely be given one star, but thankfully they had more to offer. The meatballs for one held our attention much longer than that of the garlic bread. The flavoring in the meatballs themselves brought us straight back to our childhood straight back to our roots, as the creamy marinara sauce brought the dish to life. A simple yet elegant dish truly. For us, the calamari was simply there. It's maintained everything you want in a calamari yet added nothing new. It stood out to us not in a world of flavor, texture, and culinary experiences. The Margarita Pizza, however it was quite small. What it lacked in size was made up for in flavor. The melted mozzarella mixed with pizza sauce on the pizza to create a pool of flavor, lingering in the middle of the pizza until one slice is picked up and eaten. Lastly, the pasta Pomodoro. The sauce was thin, the pasta was overcooked instead of al dente. In the singular basil leaf stood atop the pasta, not for flavor, but to save the appearance of a disgraceful pomodoro. It's safe to say, Met Him At A bar may or may not be "Meating" us again... Most Sincerely, yours truly: Henry Pollock & Hayden Kalebic
