We just had to stop her after seeing those delicious pancakes and waffles served with mile high whipped cream and fresh fruit of your choice. We had about 1hr wait but I'm telling you it's well worth it. Once seated it went quickly, service was great and the food outstanding. The eggs Benedict sauce was gelatinous, as though made with flour not eggs, and the bacon was undercooked. The area itself is hot, cramped, and only a handful of seats have a view of the beach. I freaking love this place. Both locations in Waikiki But this is my favorite of the 2. Great friendly attentive staff. Best chocolate chip pancakes ever. Hot chocolate is on point too. First visit, I had the spinach & bacon omelet with short stack, and hubby had the Portuguese sausage and eggs with short stack. The only negative was there was SO MUCH FOOD! The wait is long but you can add your name to the Yelp waitlist before you even get there. Had I known I would have done this, as they send you a text when you are close to being called to allow you time to get there. This is basically one of the very few places for a full breakfast on Kalakaua so the lines can get pretty long even when you are early. We decided to wait it out, with the estimated time of 25 minutes. There are places to sit while waiting or you can walk around as they will send a text notification. The Yelp app also shows you your place on the waitlist. We ordered the vegetarian omelette with a side of 3 fluffy pancakes (other options were rice or potatoes) and an egg scramble with a side of 3 fluffy pancakes. The eggs came with a side of their salsa. The omelette was on the dry and thin side but otherwise was fine. The vegetables were fresh and plentiful. The pancakes were a lot bigger than I had anticipated. They were fluffy and light but I could only finish 1/3 of them. Coffee was okay and refilled multiple times. Prices were fair for the location and quality of food. We had a seat in a booth that faced the beach so it was nice to people watch while enjoying our breakfast. read more
