Not worth the listed price. Ordered 2 things, hawaiian style locomoco and a florentine eggs benedict. The hollandaise had no flavor and the consistency of melted butter, eggs were over easy not poached and the loco moco was oily had the taste of the grill in the patty and. The gravy was also obviously from packet. The cheapest item which was included with the florentine (the pancakes) was the only thing that got this a 2 star review. I love breakfast places that can sub out rice for 3 pancakes. Such a deal! Today I ordered the Kalbi with pancakes and a $3 add-on fried rice. The actual Kalbi portion was small. And while I feel like the fried rice was delicious, 1 scoop surely was NOT worth the extra $3 splurge. My husband ordered the crab cakes Benedict. He found it delicious, I, however did NOT taste any crab, it actually tasted like fish sticks. Hard pass to ordering this again. Amazing food and service!! Everything I and my party had was amazing and cooked to perfection.

Parking is usually busy in this area, so you might have to circle around a bit. However, this place is fairly easy to find. My boyfriend and I were greeted right away and we sat at our table in less than 10 minutes even though it was quite busy. I got the Strawberry & Macadamia Nut Pancakes and he got today's special omelet of the day. For my pancakes, I got a huge layer of whip cream which is probably their signature style-- but I think it was a bit excessive and I ended up tossing it to the side. Overall though, it was still good. I ended up using half of the syrup bottle! As for my boyfriend, he enjoyed it. It was a tad bit watery, but it was good enough for him to finish it all! Waiter was good, and the whole place was friendly. I gave it three stars because I thought the food would be a little better. The service was okay but you do have to consider the fact that every table is filled and at no given time is there an empty table so can expect service to be a tad bit slow but it was a reasonable wait. The food on the other hand...amazing if I must say. I had the Eggs Benedict the first time and it was delicious. I always try the eggs benedict in any restaurant I go to for the first time. This one is at the top of the list. My mom had the banana nut pancakes with the tower of whip cream. Let's just say every other table around us wanted to take a picture of it....I did! This has been one of my favorite places for breakfast any time of day for years. When they opened the new location at Ala Moana I hoped that they would keep the same quality at the Waikiki location. I was not disappointed! Same great food and a much better parking situation! I just moved back to Hawaii, so I hadn't been here for years. It looks like they have expanded their menu quite a bit. My husband opted for the chicken wings, while I stuck with my classic Portuguese sausage and eggs with a side of pancakes. Not much else to say but no one left hungry or unhappy. It was more than I could eat. The pancakes we're very fluffy and filling. I think they used canned blueberries. I could have just eaten the pancakes, but I need protein. The chicken sausage was good. My friends ordered the Mac nut pancakes, which was the whole point of dining here. This is one of the few places that has Mac nut pancakes. The cost of the breakfast was a real value. We went to breakfast here yesterday. We ordered so much food and yet... no photos. Mac pancakes are my favorite. My kids had eggs and meat plus shared a strawberry whipped cream pancake. My husband loves the jalapeño fried rice. You can't go wrong. We waited 45 minutes for a table, we normally go to the one in Ko Olina but we were headed to the zoo. The food was good, but not exceptional. The ribeye steak was grass fed, but tough. The pork chop tasted more like ham (perhaps it was smoked?) than a pork chop, good, but different. I would have liked gravy or soy sauce for the rice. I didn't ask for it because I wanted to eat it as locals do and no topping was offered. The pancakes were good, but nothing to write home about. The omelettes looked good, but I wanted to try something different. Another restaurant Patton ordered the Hawaiian Acai bowl which looked amazing and she said it was delicious. This is one of my favorite brunch restaurants on the island. The food is always really good. Their ENT Loco Moco might be one of the best on the island when cooked right. This is why I was a little dissatisfied today. The burger was burnt, actually everything was burnt. I don't mind the burger and onions being a little charred but it was almost inedible and dry. I understand that I went on a Saturday, the kitchen is really busy and they're busting their butts to cook everything but that's no excuse to burn someone's food. We also ordered the Salmon Benedict and the fried rice. Both dishes looked and tasted really good. The service was excellent, even for a busy day. Excellent breakfast items. Their pancakes are so fluffy and delicious. We also enjoyed the Kulua Pork Benedict. Salty, savory and delicious. The portions are large! The only downside is that this place is so popular. One time the wait to get seated took 20 minutes, the next time was close to 2 hours. Highly recommend using the Yelp waitlist for this place and then showing up closer to the prediction. Can't wait to come back again. read more

With all things considered, I understand that businesses are overwhelmed by the COVID-19, but that doesn't give them leave to be rude to customers. I placed a pick up order and was advised that the pick up time was 15-20 mins to which I gave them amble time for my order. Once I arrived, I parked in the stall that clearly states "pick up order". Called them multiple times to inform them that I had arrived. No one answered. So I exited my vehicle, which defeats the whole purpose of that particular parking stall ( btw, I have an elderly mother and a high risk brother at home with me- that is why I only order at places with "pick-up" options to limit contact with people as much as possible). Upon entering the restaurant, I kindly informed the greeter that I needed to pick up my food, to which he replied rather curtly that I needed to wait outside. Now I would have had a different disposition had he been a little more professional with his reply. Instead, a brusque "just wait outside" was not going to work especially after I made that whole walk to pick up my food that should have been prepared already. The big shocker is, the greeter claimed to be the manager of that establishment - Get a new job bro!! The one star that I'm giving is for the other female manager who jumped in and promptly got my food for me by de-escalating the entire situation. read more

This was one of my favorite spots for breakfast, for years. We went in today so excited to have a good breakfast and completely nostalgic. We laughed talking about the aprons we loved on the auntys that used to serve at their Waikiki location, how the salsa on the table was to die for and how the food never disappointed. We were sat rather quickly which was nice and were greeted in a timely manner. We ordered an omelette (spinach, bacon & cheese) with extra salsa, a side of corned beef hash, blueberry crepes, a ham steak breakfast, a side of eggs, Guava Juice and 2 coffees. Server was decent but not great. We attempted to order a mimosa, they informed us they don't serve liquor or wine until after 4pm (menu states 2pm) it was earlier then both those times, but was a total let down considering they have a license and both mimosas and bloody Mary's are breakfast fare. The ham steak was burnt, and I mean completely black on one outside edge making it inedible in that area, when brought to the servers attention, she seemed confused on how to handle the situation and unapologetic about the burnt food. No management came by. They offer, or at least used to, a KamaAina discount, when I went to the cashier to pay I used my Bank of Hawaii MC and whipped out my state ID, I was no offered the discount, though I witnessed it extended to another guest earlier and had received it in the past. I guess they only discount locals they like. The cashier was unfriendly and almost standoffish, so I didn't mention it, I figure I don't "need" the discount, and it wasn't worth getting any additional attitude her "I'll take that", no smile, no "how was your meal", no aloha was enough for me.... Funniest thing is when I checked in this draft had 5 stars basing off of past experience and I was shocked to see the 3 star rating overall... now I'm more informed. read more
