Around this time yesterday (10am) me and my family walked in and were on the waitlist for 3 people. My sister had called to ask to join us, so we asked the hostess to move us to a bigger table for the four of us, she said that was fine and promptly moved us. Not even 3 minutes later our server came over very blunt, and disrespectful telling us it was against policy to add one person because they were not in our original party, and its company policy. It would make sense if it was like 4-5 people, but he used an excuse of the hostess not speaking English. Whether or not, we still had an extra seat , that would never have been used. It was outrageous and they made us send her home or put her on a 45 minute waitlist over one chair. And a customer they could received more money from. Will never be coming back. read more

If you're in the state of hawaii specifically on the island of Oahu you need to find an eggs and things. More of a local spot but very inviting to tourist as well. Our preferred one was the one on Saratoga. Our server Stella was hands down the friendliest and most attentive server our entire trip. True hospitality. It was a quaint little locations maybe about 20 tables but it's worth the wait if you get put on the waitlist. The location off Saratoga in in a cute two story location that over looks the local neighborhood. All our food was amazing, over the course of multiple trips i did have spam and eggs twice wife was a fan of the create your own omelette. And both days we tried the fruit topped pancakes first one was the tropical which had macadamia nuts, coconut shreds, and pineapple. The other pancakes we had topped with strawberries, blueberries and bananas. They did have tropical syrups which were guava and coconut. Best combo was the coconut syrup with the pineapple pancakes. tasted exactly like a pina-colada . Over all stay away from the tourist spots you'll get the best bang for your buck especially on vacation from locals and better all around service. Take the walk away from the resorts you won't be disappointed. And remember ask for Stella!!!! read more

Phenomenal breakfast. We came around 7 am and had a 10 minute wait but were able to join the Yelp waitlist and it was pretty quick! We were seated on the upstairs patio in a little corner. We orders 2 things: the Eggs Benedict with Taro roll and crab cake and the Rainbow pancakes. This was moreee than enough food to feed me and my boyfriend. Staff took 20 minutes to even acknowledge us. My husband's pancakes were brought out 15 minutes before my bennies. The pancakes were topped with a ridiculous mountain of what tasted like cool whip, blech. The bennies were hard cooked and had about 1 tablespoon each of hollandaise, not enough. We were staying at the Alohilani hotel which is right next door and wanted some breakfast. They do not accept orders over the phone yet we were having trouble linking to the website to place the order. They recommended we use doordash and pick up the meal. The food was good, as expected, but we ran into some issues ordering through door dash (issues we alerted doordash) Advice if ordering through door dash - order each item as an individual item!!!! DoorDash offers you to 'add on' to items but those items are often not seen by the restaurant/kitchen and forgotten. For example, we ordered Eggs Florentine and it asked if we wanted to add on a short stack and maple syrup. We paid for the short stack and maple syrup through door dash but the restaurant did not receive this part of the order and when we went to pick up the order, the short stack was not included in our food. We alerted doordash and hopefully they make this right for future customers. If you want a short stack and eggs florentine, add them to your cart individually and as separate items to make sure it is included in your to go bag! read more

This was my last food stop while visiting Hawai'i recently. Loco moco - I loved that this was more than just a hamburger patty with rice, eggs, and gravy. This has fried rice with grilled onions and mushrooms (note: I do not eat mushrooms, so my sister got to enjoy them all and loved them). Pancake sampler - pancakes were fluffy and good, but standard in my opinion. The table side coconut syrup was the real stand out and I wish they sold it in their storefront because I'd take it home with me in an instant. The only thing I really felt was missing was a loaded ube pancake. I guess that means I just have to come back to Hawai'i again soon, right?! Mixed fruit - we also shared a mixed fruit bowl to make us feel healthy and because it was refreshing and yummy. Very standard and we both enjoyed it. read more

Just Egg, vegan sausage and pancakes / waffles could very easily be a part of the menu. The food was good. This location is nice as it has an indoor that feels outdoor with the doors open. I would avoid this restaurant. The food tasted like it was cooked in rancid oil. We each took one bite and couldn't finish our meals because the taste was so unpleasant. The situation was made worse by the manager refusing to remove the uneaten dishes from our bill. Instead, he offered only $7 off nearly $60 worth of food that we barely touched due to the rancid taste. We didn't want to make a scene at the restaurant, so we paid and left. However, I hope the management takes this feedback seriously--please change your oil more regularly and don't expect customers to pay full price for food that clearly isn't edible. read more

We walked in on a Sunday morning and picked this place because they seemed busy and had people outside waiting for a table so we knew it would be good. We put our name down for a table for 5 and the wait was fairly short maybe 15 minutes before we were sat. The restaurant itself has two levels, the bottom level has a merchandise area that is so cute along with the check in counter then the restaurant on the top level. It has a classic diner atmosphere and the service is very fast & so friendly. Delicious pancakes and eggs Benny on a purple potato roll. Very mom n pop vibes, fair prices, and walking distance from Waikiki beach. This location is a little more hidden than the other, so we were able to walk up and get a table unlike the one of the main drag with a 3 hour wait! The check in process is easy and there are benches outside to enjoy the sunshine while you wait. The seating area is upstairs. It's small and quaint but gets the job done! Great tasting food at generally good prices. Both times we went I got the Breakfast Meat'n Eggs with chicken apple sausage (one time with potatoes and one time with white rice). I was disappointed that both times they were sold out of the chicken mango sausage. Nevertheless, it still tasted good. The show stopper was the macadamia nut pancakes. Incredible!! Fluffy, thick, moist, flavorful, perfection! The *cherry* on top was the coconut syrup and maple syrup (we combined both for a traditional/island flavor). Guava flavored syrup was another option.
