I went there to pick up my takeout order around at noon today. One of the male servers, who seems about in his fifties, came and ask for credit card. I usually order meals from this restaurant at least once a week and this man is usually the one who rings up the payment. He never smiles, make eye contact, or thank the customers, but just walks away soon after finishes with what he has to do. My wife thought he was rude but I didn't care much as long as I get my meals. Today, I was little in hurry with my busy schedule. I gave my VISA card for the payment. He took it from my hand without a word. He printed the receipt and placed it on the counter for me to sign. As I approached the counter, he had put his arm on the receipt, and started having a conversation with a customer. I waited for about a min, got frustrated, grabbed my meals, and took a step towards the exit. I looked back and noticed he was looking at me. So I asked him, "Do you want me to sign or not?" My tone wasn't disrespectful but he detected the frustration in my voice. He responded and said, "Well, you threw the pen and did not sign, so you are not signing it!", and he walked fast towards the kitchen. There was another waitress at the scene. I asked her, "I did not throw the pen, what the **** is he talking about?" She responded and said, he's been working since early in the morning, and but she had no idea what is going on. I told her I really like the meals from this restaurant but his attitude is definitely unacceptable. read more

This could easily be a five star review, The staff is well trained and friendly, the food is delicious except for one problem they use without a doubt the cheapest log cabin syrup that money can buy it is a shade above corn syrup. I have never seen a maple syrup option and if they do have an option I'll be more than happy to retract the three star rating. I've eaten here twice now since they opened. It's nice to have another option in the area for breakfast/lunch. My experience the first time was much better than the second thus the average rating. I have to give them kudos for excellent home fries. I don't usually like home fries as they are often bland. The home fries here are well seasoned and good to go as is. They also had a very good Tomato Florentine Benedict. As far as the negatives, I find the food to overall mediocre. We've tried eggs, bacon, sausage, patty o-sullivan omelet and pancakes (big family to feed). Nothing has wowed me or the family and the biggest drawback was when my son pulled a hair out of his scrambled eggs after our last visit. I wish them success as they get started but they need to make sure their food is consistent and properly seasoned. read more

Recently moved to the area and were looking for a nice b'fast place to compliment the many fine dinner restaurants in the area. Eggs Up is clean and the service was prompt, courteous and attentive. Promptly served coffee (which was on the weak side - and I don't care for strong coffee,) and our order was taken at our convenience. We both had Eggs Benedict. Perfectly poached and a flavorful sauce at just the right consistency. Home fries were also very good but a bit lukewarm. Will definitely visit again and try one of the many interesting omelets. read more

Me & two other girls came here for our Saturday Brunch Club. We saw Eggs Up Grill. We were greeted and sat very quickly & drink orders got taken care of. The iced coffee was underwhelming to say the least. While we were looking at the menu it was slightly overwhelming and nothing really stuck out to me personally. We ordered the Humpty Dumpty Omelette, Eggs Benedict, and the goodness gracious omelette. All of these plates came with home fries which did not taste that great. We found our meals to be bland. Good breakfast, nice staff, quick service: LOVE! Food: I've been coming to Eggs Up Grill basically since it opened and I love it! The food really makes this place a winner. I've had their corned beef hash, eggs and and patty melt. All good and their coffee is also quite flavorful (light to medium roast). Last time I ventured out and got half a waffle which was tasty as well. I've never had anything bad here. Service/staff: very friendly! Every time you walk in, you're greeted by a hostess and usually seated immediately. They can make your food any way you want it, so that's nice too. I ordered my corned beef hash slightly burnt and when it didn't come out exactly crunchy, my waiter took it back and returned with a crispier, more burnt version. How's that for service! Ambiance: the walls are bright yellow so if you're not already awake, you will be. There's ample seating available, and my preference is sitting right behind the hostess stand to avoid oglers (omg, there's person of color in Roswell, let's collectively clutch our pearls and try to figure out what ethnicity they are while deadpan staring in the meantime *eyeroll*). The waitstaff all have hilarious shirts that have puns regarding eggs on them which I love, my favorite of which is "Is my crack showing?" with an egg looking backwards at themselves in a mirror, LOL! Probably the most customer-uncaring experience I've ever had. I made my reservation in yelp. When I got there 20 minutes later, I showed them my reservation on my phone. But they couldn't find it on their iPad. When I asked them if that meant I had to start my wait all over again, they said yes. If showing them the live reservation on my phone isn't enough, what is? Eggs Benedict are my favorite in any fashion but they have regular and over corned beef has AND Florentine: sautéed spinach, fresh tomato and Hollandaise sauce you could eat like soup! One of the best I've ever had! My husband had Greek omelette w feta spinach tomatoes and pepper. The pancake options are to die for: we had sweet potato pancakes w pralines and creamy cinnamon syrup. Definitely have been enjoying the occasional breakfast at Eggs up lately. The portions are a little light for the price (as compared to the Waho staple) but the menu is diverse and full of flavor. The biscuits and gravy make for a solid breakfast but you've got to try the blueberry muffin and eggs! There are plenty of vegetarian and healthy options on the menu to choose from. One of the main reasons we enjoy the place is the atmosphere and the amazing staff. It's got a nice diner feel with their "Eggs served" counter incrementing over time. The bar is positioned with an active view of the kitchen as well as an outlet for the daily news. The staff will always bring a smile to your face and each staff member makes sure guests get seated and started with drinks. No matter who ends up serving you the service and conversation are great. Always friendly service and employees that know the value of repeat business. Have eat there several times. I am 73 years old and never been a big fan of eggs. But I have in the past few years ventured out and tried omelets. The first one I had here was good but not very big. Welcome breakfast, brunch, lunch option for the busy, busy corridor. Simple, filling fare w pro service and OK prices. We are in this strip center non-stop, so sooner or later we'd need a breakfast. Rolled in on a weekday mid-morning and got a quick greeting and seating, a key measure of good staffing. Next test, BIG hunger. My wingman opted for a Southern style omelet (Sausage, onions, peppers and cheddar cheese), home fries, along with a single pancake side. The pancake add-on options are kinda hard to find on the menu, just keep looking. Me, the Southwestern home-fry platter (home fries covered with cheddar cheese, onions, peppers, diced ham, jalapenos and salsa) with two over easy eggs on top was the play. A few pecks on a tablet from our sweet server and the orders were fired. The home fries were the draw. Nice skin-on red bliss, tender with a seasoned salt prep, some bacon and onion mixed in. The omelet was a big three-egg deal, plenty of filling, and all was quickly dispatched. The buttermilk pancake was a good size, not too big, and topped with powdered sugar, which you might want to hold if you are going for less sweet. My platter was a big mound of home fries with added green pepper and pickled jalapenos, two nice over easy eggs (warm thick yolks) which oozed into the mess. Some salsa and a few shakes of Texas Pete, good to go. We both downed every bite and didn't eat again until dinner, so that counts for something. Overall I thought out the door for $25 w tip and only one drink was a tad high, but given rent around East Cobb/North Fulton, what are you gonna do? Do give em a shot and see what you think. So I keep wanting to give this place a shot, but will probably be my last time. Food is great and the servers are great. Management and front of house are terrible. Waited over an hour to get a table for 6 while we watched tables of 4 and 5 get sat before us who were just walking in. They obviously haven't trained the hostesses on rotation and when I asked for a manager he NEVER came out to talk to us. Not even when it died down. Even watched them try to pass the buck onto a server to talk to me which isn't their responsibility. Ultimately, management never took the initiative to make sure we were ok. Kitchen always makes great food, servers great, but manager didn't manage. Guess they pay him the big bucks to ignore his clients. read more

I hardly knew this place opened until I saw it recently when visiting Keegan's just next door. I'm glad to see another dining option in the area and hope it does well in this hidden corner of a strip mall. This place is open from 6:00 to 2:30 and serves breakfast and lunch. I came in at about 7:00 on a Saturday morning for breakfast. I was the only patron at that hour. They get extra points for friendly service. The servers were very nice and attentive. I ordered "The Classic," a basic American breakfast with eggs, sausage or bacon, toast and home fries or grits. The breakfast was good and filling. The potatoes, in particular, were hot and a little creamy and very tasty. The sausage links, though, were slightly cold. The scrambled eggs were prepared just fine. Coffee was pretty standard, not too strong or weak. Prices were very good for what you get. The breakfast was something like $6.46 and the coffee $2.24. They have a pretty big menu and some of the lunch dishes looked good. I would recommend this restaurant Nd would like to try it again. read more

My visit here at the Roswell location was quite overwhelming. A couples weeks ago. I visited to Columbia,SC location and was was very please on how great the food tastes and the customer service was. So when I found out that they had one in the Atlanta area, I was ecstatic to try it out. I order the breakfast wrap and it was very very bland and the wrap dough wasn't even crispy so that was a downer. The food within the wrap tasted like a microwave breakfast wrap, NASTYY!! I also order potatoes wedges which were decent, and a blueberry muffin and that was excellent. Overall, this particular location should up their food quality, which seems rush and comes out cold, and improve on having a better welcoming atmosphere. read more
