The breading fell off immediately and it was just gross, greasy and slippery. No flavor, no heat. The second disappointment were the onion rings. Greasy, Soggy, mushy, and again, the breading immediately fell off. They were like eating fried spaghetti. The final letdown was the service. Our server was nice when she greeted us, but we saw her maybe once during our meal. Never filled our drinks and she checked on us once during our meal. The food took 45 minutes to come to our table. I was tempted to lick the bowl when I got to the bottom, but that wouldn't be very dignified while dining out, so I did the next best thing by sopping up the residue with what was left of my sandwich. The pimento on The Moxie is excellent, and the sweet potato fries are literally some of the best anywhere, especially with the chipotle mayo. Service is friendly and efficient. The lemonade is fine, nothing special, but that's not really why I come here. Moxie is consistent, reliable, and one of those places that rarely disappoints.
