They were out of ingredients for their special so I got an omelet which was good but not amazing. The biscuit was dry and the cinnamon roll was hard. It must have just been this day because a friend of mine that was with me had dined here before but had a completely different experience. She said the biscuit was melting in her mouth and it was specifically why we went in the other morning. I would give them another chance one day. read more

This is MY breakfast go to! They deliver to my job 1-2 times a week without fail and never mess up my order! I have had a few different meals but the baja chicken hash is a must try! Every dish I've tried has been delicious and my coworkers comment the same! The ONLY complaint I have is that, when I order on Grub Hub, I can never order the cinnamon roll- PLEASE fix this! This is our first time in Vegas and this was our first place to eat. We were greeted with kindness upon arrival. Our server, Brenda, was attentive and knowledgeable. She gave us her recommendations and we went with it! I had the Nasty Box, which was far from nasty. It was absolutely DELICIOUS!! The "Box" was made of bread filled with brisket, onions, and red bell peppers. The bread had a slight sweet taste that complimented the savory brisket and peppers. It was topped with 2 poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. Instead of hash browns as the side, I chose the country potatoes. They were some of the best country potatoes I've ever tasted. Those potatoes were well seasoned with a perfectly, gentle crunch. My husband had the EGGcellent Chilaqueles with the added brisket. The green sauce complimented it well. This place lives up to its name - excellent food and service. We ordered spicy box and hoodoo hash, and they were both heavenly delicious! Claire provided the best service she could ever give no matter how busy it was when we were there. She was pleasant, friendly, and courteous. Sunday morning, my son has the day off. He loves to go for breakfast. I've bookmarked Eggsellent to try sometime, today is the day. We arrive at 10 am and we're told about 10 minute wait time. We waited less than 5 minutes. Actually we got there in the nick of time. About 8 people came in behind us. The restaurant is in a strip mall between a Mexican market and a clothing store with plenty of parking one would assume. We had to search to find a spot that wasn't half a mile away. It's a busy plaza. There is a nice sign that made it easy to spot the restaurant. The place is very clean, a bit noisy since it's packed. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The menu has many selections. I settled on one of the daily specials, banana French toast, 2 eggs and coffee. All of this for about $12.00. The flavors were perfect. I really wanted to eat it all but it was just too much. Even though it was very busy, our food came out of the kitchen quickly and our server was there every time we needed him. I enjoyed my visit and will return to try something else surely delicious. As we were leaving, three different employees thanked us for coming. Very nice experience. read more

Angie was our OUTSTANDING server! We ordered, Baja Hash that was OUT OF THIS WORLD DELISH! Their hollindaise sauce was like liquid velvet!! The potatoes were cheesy, moist and tender with a perfect brown on them, the red sauce on the bottom was Smokey and packed with flavor!! Eggs PERFECTLY poached and so creamy. Hubby ordered Red rock plate that was equally as delish with perfectly poached eggs and Hollindaise sauce. Bacon was perfect potatoes perfect. We found a new fave breakfast joint!!! My wife and myself are so happy we sought this restaurant out!! First off the guy at the door who took our names made us and everyone else feel like we had been coming here for years. Great start to the experience that's missing in Most places. Our server Anna was a peach, so pleasant and helpful in our selections. Honestly I really do t think you could make a bad selection. Was craving breakfast food and stumbled upon Eggscellent on yelp (I'm glad I did). I live in DTLV and it's tough to find a regular breakfast spot in the area. I've passed by this restaurant on multiple occasions and didn't realize how much of a hidden gem it is. Had the homemade corned beef hash and pancakes on the side (both were great). Girlfriend is vegan and she had plenty of options to choose from. Service was extremely attentive and friendly. Restaurant was new and clean. Will definitely be back again! read more

I'm a sucker for house made pickles, and these DID NOT disappoint. I could eat a whole plate of those. The tots... you can easily mess up tots, but these were crisp and well seasoned. Anyway. I was given a brief 20 minute wait time-- which was cut short nearly immediately when a wonderful host expressed that our deep oak, firmly planted, chocolatey brown table with our plush, blue leather seats was ready. Anyway. We sat down. The menu cover was incredible. A fresh, leather cover with brief, punctual text. Anyway. I ordered Gordon Ramsay's Southwestern Burger with just fries. Wow. Anyway. When it first came out, I saw it. The appealingly freshly toasted bun with freshly picked produce from the plentiful garden and freshly butchered and cooked beef. This was all alleged, however. Anyway. I took a bite. Then it hit me. When I was a young boy, I was playing outside in the garden. Suddenly, a vicious dog--foreshadowing the fierce streets of Las Vegas Blvd S--came upon me and began to snarl and bark at me. Scared for my life, I retreated to the beautiful, tall, lush, old, grand, plush, velvety, deep green tree that was in our yard. I began to climb the tree, which was easily 50 feet tall. As an inexperienced climber at this point-- on the sunny, bright blue day that dawned over me at the infant young age of 7, I was unable to successfully climb the tree. Anyway. I fell down the fifty feet and landed promptly in front of the vicious dog. Crying, I ran inside. At this point, I saw it. The beautifully crafted, plush cheeseburger that was wonderfully and expertly crafted by my mother. First, I tasted the freshly baked bread, I could taste the kneading that went into combining the freshly milled flour--from wheat at my best friend's field-- combined with the freshly filtered water, filtered from the town's local water tower (which my best friend's father's coworker single-handedly built upon settlement of our town.. but let's not stray from the topic.) and lastly, the freshly ground cave salt from the local mine shaft, managed by my sister's best friend's dog sitter, who was quite the fellow. Anyway. I then tasted the produce, freshly grown from my mother's garden. Fertilized by fresh organic waste and seasoned daily with fresh herbs and spices that came from my local farmers market--which occurs once every spring on the second Thursday. Anyway. The beefy patty-- which came from my childhood cow, who was raised for a proximal 40 years before he liberally passed away on the plush, green field in our very own back yard. Anyway. Back to the restaurant. I vividly tasted those very delicious hints that I just expressed. The freshly baked seaseme seed bun-- the fresh, perfectly sweet vegetables (with a special mention for the lettuce, which was the softest, most delightful--absent of cyclospora-- lettuce I had ever tasted). Anyway. The beef, which was perfectly seasoned and wonderfully medium pink in the center, and the INCREDIBLE cheese-- which was likely made in house by the experienced chefs. I recommend this establishment to anyone who dislikes food, but instead, LOVES food. thank you for your attention to this matter. #ferda

Breakfast, being my favorite meal of the day, we have tried most the good breakfast spots in this sin city. My partner loves eggs Benny's while I have varied go-tos and enjoy trying restaurants specials. Gina was our server and was eggceptional. Gina could perceive that we were in a hurry when we ordered and put our order in before a large group that came in at the same time. My husband and I ordered the florentine hash and the stuffed French toast with mascarpone cheese. I've never had anything like it. I mistakenly thought my French toast had butter in the middle, but it was really melted marscapone cheese. Without asking... they brought me an extra side of marscapone cheese. I have to say I'm really picky when I order a Reuben sandwich because I want the meat to be tender, flavorful, and sliced really thin. I decided to give the sandwich a try and I totally loved it. It was THE best Reuben sandwich I've ever eaten!!! it was absolutely delicious. And I ordered onion rings with it instead of any other side and they were also delicious. This is our first time trying Eggscellent and the name fits perfectly. Our waiter JJ was amazing and the food was great. I got the huevos rancheros with extra green salsa and it was chefs kiss.
