I'll admit, I was never really a believer. Coming from the east coast, there was something about an egg breakfast sandwich that seemed incomplete without Wawa and perpetual traffic on the turnpike. However, Eggslut is a welcome reprieve from other standard LA fare because it's filling, it's healthy, and it's so, so good. The brioche bun, egg, and turkey sausage sandwich is a favorite of mine, and the side salad is excellent: arugula, manchego, and red wine vinaigrette. Together they make an ordinary breakfast anything but boring, and why would anyone want to be boring in Los Angeles? I recommend one go early morning at the Hollywood location, nothing is worth waiting in line for fast casual dining (local or not). read more

I came here with my uncles before leaving LA and I have to say that I was very glad we went! The menu is small, but delicious and prepared quickly. The bacon and egg sandwich is delicious! The only reason I docked a star was because of how long it took us to be able to order. There was only one girl taking orders and she also was answering the phone. The menu is simple so that they can really perfect what they do, eggs. The Fairfax is my go to, I love it in a bowl with a side salad, a healthy little meal and great way to start the day along with one of their fresh pressed orange juices. At 11:30am on a Monday, there was a line, and they were out of orange juice. The menu says that they have hot coffee until 11:30am, so we got coffee next door and brought it in. I had the turkey sausage sandwich. First, I took a bite and thought it was weird that the turkey sausage was green so I asked about it at the counter. The guy working there said it was because they use chives in the turkey mix. When I sat back down to take a second bite, the yolk exploded and dripped down my hand, missed the napkin on my lap and landed all over my pant leg, and dripped down to my calf. I should have had better posture sitting down to avoid this, so I would say - beware the exploding yolk, sit up straight, and eat over the table, not at an angle. Eating at an angle is easy to do because the seating options are all counter seating with a few small round tables in back. The egg with potato puree cup was pretty good. The bread to dip in it was ok. Overall, it was a mediocre experience. I would not get any sandwich with exploding yolk here because the seating was not conducive to eating something very messy. Yummy! Probably the best egg sandwich I've ever had. Found this place luckily and it was a great find. I got the Fairfax egg sandwich and I had it gone within the first five minutes. I like everything about Eggslut. There's something very satisfying about the way this place operates. The menu is short, simple, and everything on it sounds and is tasty. You order at the counter and receive your food with a shout of your name shortly after watching it being crafted, as it's a small open kitchen. I've sat at the bartop directly behind the cooks and have enjoyed watching the art of whisking away a perfect scramble and throwing flavor in like a magician during an act. Service is fast and it is only one cashier at the front taking orders. The cooks hand you your food at the counter. You can sit and enjoy your meal at the countertops or in the back there's a few (very few) tables. I like that prices are in the same range. Nothing over $10 which is seldom in the area, and for what they offer it's a pretty great deal on some good stuff. Aside from egg concoctions within warm fluffy brioche buns, there's jars filled with eggs, some biscuits at the register, and cold brew + orange juice on tap. Hot coffee stops being served after 10:30 AM (I know, right?). I recommend the egg, sausage, and cheese sandwich. It's delicious and even more so with avocado and some sriracha mayo! The Fairfax seems to be the most popular, try it with some protein by adding a sausage patty or bacon. Parking is dismal, unless you go into the Beverly center lot but I'm not sure if there is validation. I'd recommend going around and parking on the street then walking, but it will be hard to find a spot that's for sure. Oh yeah, I've yet to try it out myself, but I hear "the slut" is really good. It's fun to hear them shout that a slut is ready for you. It is essentially a poached egg and mashed potatoes in a tiny jar. Bon appetit! read more

This place makes a top of the line egg Sammy. The eggs are velvety smooth like small pockets of heaven. The fairway is my go to with sriracha Mayo. There is no indoor seating during Covid and the sandwiches do lose a little something in the takeout process, but this is one of the beat breakfasts around. read more

Came in about 2 o'clock on a Sunday afternoon with my lady. I ordered the egg list burger with bacon. Even thought it was a packed house, we were served in about 10 min after ordering, very speedy! The taste and quality of the burger was quite good. The brioche bun kinda felt empty however. The only dilemma I have about this place is the portions are small. I am a slut for these eggs. I love Eggslut! The service was good. The line moves quickly. The cashier kept going "what"? To which we would answer "slut"! This repeated loudly a couple of times. It's good that the cashier is thorough with confirming orders. Our food arrived quite quickly, too, considering the popularity of Eggslut. Eggslut has a lovely sign. It is round, simplistic, eggy, and slutty. I saw a guy taking a photo with his egg dish held in front of it. The signature dish, the Slut, looks unappealing at first glance. However, it contains a glass jar of mashed potatoes and runny egg. It ate, and so did we. The Eggslut worker we spoke to said we could throw it away, so it seems you can keep your Slut jar. The Bacon and Egg sandwich was well-cooked with runny egg, but it paled in comparison to the EGG SALAD SANDWICH. I don't even like arugula but it was so good, the eggy had the leafy just enhanced each other and became something new altogether. Best of all, the leftovers can be given to the many sparrows pecking at the ground for crumbs. One of them five bombed us. Another was not a sparrow at all, but a log of turd in the distance. Eggslut also contributes to the wonderful smells of Grand Central Market. All in all, you too should become an Eggslut! read more

I LOVE the food at Eggslut!! It's one of my favorite places to eat with my son. But I have real issues when any establishment stops preparing food 15 minutes before closing. Chairs already on the counter, all food and cooking utensils put away, the employees crossing their fingers no one walks through the door expecting to eat. As soon as we walked in they announced they were closed. In my opinion this is no way to manage a business. I think the manager needs to rethink customer service. read more

Though I have no complaints about the food, I was more impressed with the name as slut is one of my favorite words. Everything tasted fresh, I'd say this place reminds me of a European style dine and dash. What was a very long line seemed to have vanished quickly. The food is prepped just as fast and there's just enough room for you to eat and split. No hanging out or socializing here. I really liked that. My little brother has been raving about this place since it was opened in NY, and we're so lucky to have it in LA and nearby too. Eggslut is my husband's favorite breakfast place, and I love coming here. We love coming to this particular location because it's not crazy packed like the one located Grand Central Market. There's parking available at the Beverly Center and even on the streets if you're lucky enough to find a spot. We always go around 10 AM, and we're always able to find seats next to each other. You MUST order the Fairfax. If you're adventurous enough, add bacon to your sandwich. You'll get more than enough bacon. Their scrambled eggs are so soft and fluffy that it practically melts in your mouth. Without though, this sandwich might drip all over you. DON'T get the sausage, egg and cheese sandwich. I found the sausage to be very bland and tasteless. It was kind of disappointing to pay $7 for something that's just okay, when I could've gotten something spectacular like the Fairfax. Don't make the same mistake as I did. I love sitting at the bar top and watching the staff cook each individual ingredient. Each cook is assigned to cook one item: an over medium egg, bacon, and toasting buns. The person that toasts buns is the person that is responsible for putting together each of the sandwiches. I had already been to the original Eggslut in Grand Central Market, but my husband has never been. After a failed attempt to take him to the one in Vegas (ridiculously long line), and because we were already at Beverly Center with our friends, we decided to hunt this place down. I say hunt this place down... because the mall doesn't really have a food court. Although the address says it's on Beverly Blvd, it's actually outside the mall, on the first floor, at the corner of 3rd St and San Vicente Blvd. You're welcome for that tip. We got all lost in the parking structures too lol. We saw that Marugame was right next door so we decided to share food so we can kill two birds with one stone. My husband and I shared the Fairfax and added bacon. I forgot how yummy this simple sandwich was! I love love love soft scrambled eggs, so the sandwich just hits the spot. The bacon is crispy and just salty enough. And the brioche is sweet and fluffy. Overall still as good as I remember. I wouldn't wait for over 30 minutes for this, but with the short wait we had, it was totally worth the journey from the top floor of the mall to find this location. read more

I came and ordered the sausage egg and cheese sandwich as well as the Egg Slut (Which is what it's called) and it really just isn't the best. You will be tasting the egg for hours after you finished the sandwich and it isn't a great taste. The Egg Slut wasn't anything special. If anything I saw a lot of people leaving their jars half full (or half empty whichever suits your needs).
