If you're looking for speedy service, you're not going to find it here. Ordered two hot sandwiches. One on cheesy jalapeño and one panini style. We got there before the line was out the door but that doesn't say a whole lot because there were only a few people ahead of us and it took us about 15 minutes to be able to order and pay. The 2 stars: 1st star- one of the guys making the sandwiches noticed I had been waiting a while, so he asked about my order and found they totally skipped it. So he started working on it right away. Normally I'd give that more credit but he got the order wrong. You pay extra if you order a "gourmet" bagel. Got charged for it but he made the breakfast sandwich on a plain bagel. Not what we ordered or paid for. 2nd star- despite the service being slower than a snail and the staff unable to get the order correct, the food was ok. Would I come here again? I use to love Einstein's but the quality has went way down. Every time I go the begals are burnt, the last 5 times I have went I have complained and nothing ever changes. SO NOW I AM PUTTING IT ON SOCIAL MEDIA STOP OVER BAKING THE BAGELS!!! Thank goodness there is a new New York bagel place opening on Gilber Rd so I no longer have to sort through burnt bagels to find some decent ones to bring home to my kids. I live fairly close by, so I come to this location often. I have always received great and friendly service. The Everything Bagel is one of my favorites. Not sure why others have rated this location so low. My only thought is that they visit later in the morning on a busy weekend morning, though I have come at different times ranging between 5am and 8:30am and never have a problem. This review is long overdue. I've given them multiple chances and they cannot get their act together. I realize it's Covid and blah, blah, blah, but they appear fully staffed with at least 6 people working the front counter. Today was the final straw with my support of this place. I placed a mobile order (let's not get into the fact that all bagel choices aren't listed on the app) and was several miles away. I chose a time for 30 mins later, since I've had so many issues here with having my food in a timely fashion. So, I arrived 35 mins later and no food. I waited and waited and 10 mins later, nothing. I heard another couple order two bagels and were told it would be a 20 minute wait. There were probably 6 other people waiting- not 30! I had to leave for an appointment and came back 15 mins later to finally find my food. If this was a one time thing, I'd definitely give them a pass. This is the norm, not the exception. I'm going to opt to not put anymore money in my app and look elsewhere. l for bagels. People can have a sit down meal in many places in 30 mins. Nobody has 30-45 mins to wait for a single bagel! After a couple visits here I am convinced this place is borderline criminal. it is absolutely bare minimum bagel service for top pricing. i spent $17 on two bagel sandwiches and an OJ. The bacon, egg bagel was small, very small. The lox and cream cheese sandwich had one piece of salmon and barely any cream cheese. $17 people, this place is a scam. I'm not sure why Einstein gets mostly 2 stars. I was very happy with their service. I am visually impaired and was using SeeingAI on my iPhone to read the bagel names, etc. Once the guy at the counter realized I have a vision problem, he was so very helpful. Also, on Mondays, you get 13 bagels for 7 bucks - how can you beat that deal? I tried their cold pressed coffee and it was excellent! Very strong, though. I shall return! read more

Like previous reviews, this is a hit or miss location. We go to this location almost every weekend. Sometimes we get great customer service and sometimes we don't. This past visit was the final straw. My husband called in the order and they put him on hold for 10min. Just as a reminder, they don't have hold music or a silent mute, so you can hear everything going on in the background. My husband heard the girl take orders from 3 different people and then walk away from the phone. He hung up and called again. Same thing happened except this time the girl didn't take any orders. We drove to the location to place the order in person. As a test he called while he was in there and watched the girl put him on hold and walk away from the phone. The most ridiculous thing about this was there were 4 people working and only 2 other customers inside!! He asked to talk to the manager who did not give a crap and claimed they were "busy" in an almost empty store... The kicker was when we got home, they had cut our bagels into 4ths.. like why? read more

Almost twice a week for the past couple of weeks I have went to the store and ordered a bagel with a iced sugar cookie. The thing was that the icing part was not on the cookie. Every time I go in they only sell the sugar cookie without the icing which is not how it is supposed to be. English is not my first language but I thought iced sugar cookies are supposed to have the icing. Ok so first off the people here are real friendly, and I've never had a problem with that, but having said that, once you see new faces behind the counter, you are better off turning around back to your car. The lines get super long and getting what you ordered is a mini miracle. I ordered 2 plain not cut cinnamon raisin bagels and got blueberry instead. Also ordered a 2 egg sante fe but my sandwich had none (see pic) - must be new age math? Took forever to get my food and coffe I asked for ice Carmel macchiato and got room temperature coffe that taste like shit

I frequent this establishment quite often as it's the only bagel place close to my house, and it's good. The problem is not the establishment and I hate to mark it down for the clientele but on more than one occasion I've been disrespected by other customers and have seen others customer disrespected by fellow customers. This morning was no exception when some customer named Chris decided to make fun of me and tell me to move the f@@k out of the way then proceeded to tell me I should have my order figured the f@@k out all of this I front my 10 yo son. This is not an isolated incident as I indicated previously and it's not the establishments fault, but it's unfortunate and something others should know prior to going. The food is good and the staff is usually helpful, so if you don't mind the potential for being cussed at and disrespected then I say take a chance the food is good. What great way to start your day. I love the seasonal coffees. Just what I need to get my day started. They have a good variety of bagels-one for what ever I'm feeling like that day. I like having them toast it then re-toasting it at work to get it warm again. They will give you the cream cheese on the side so your bagel isn't soggy. Our family loves Einstein Bagels (almost 10 years since we started eating bagels here) and goes to this location at least 3-4 times every month. Lately not sure what is happening whenever we bought bagels half or full dozen though you buy and pay for Smear/Cream Cheese they forget to put in the bag. Last two times I didn't check the bag until we came home or at park and found it is missing. Don't want to drive back again just for that. Went to this location on December 26th. The day after Christmas. The customer service was pretty disturbing. Coming from a family that owns a restaurant I know that mine would want to know if their employees were that rude. One specific worker with short red hair and glasses was loud and rude to multiple customers. There were no smiles at all. We were taking the kids to the park, so we asked for our bagels to be toasted with cream cheese. We were told we couldn't get the dozen special because we were having them sliced and that we would have to pay individually. We were fine with that but it seemed like they wanted us to change our minds. It was almost as if them toasting them and putting cream cheese on them was causing them pain. Yes it was busy, but there were at least 6 employees behind the counter. As we waited we saw the same employees continue to be cold and rude to other customers. When we got to the register, we realized she hadn't even put cream cheese on them. So, we ordered our three tubs of cream cheese Togo. I love Einsteins and usually have a great experience, but I won't be back to this one. I wasn't surprised by the low rating. Definitely suggest on getting rid of the rude and unpleasant workers. read more

Today was the first time I've ever had a bad experience at an Einstein, today was also my first time visiting this location! The customer service was very poor as the Einstein team member rudely suggested that was trying to con my way into a free bagel. I came in to use my Birthday reward but there was some sort of issue. The cashier told me that I used the reward already which I definitely had not. When I told her that this was my first visit inside an Einstein since before my birthday, she again suggested that I already used it and was trying to use it again. I asked that she please stop suggesting that I was trying to "trick" her. She proceeds to say "well I'll honor it this time but it's already been used" -_- That was the final straw for me, the excessive comments and suggestion that I was lying about a reward was quite insulting. I completely canceled the order and went to Panera Bread instead. If I'm not respected and valued as a customer, I don't want the item whether it's free or not. We showed up at 8:45 on a Saturday morning had to clean our own table, both creams were empty milk was empty no longer have brown sugar or honey and I order locks and bagels that showed up without the salmon and then when they did add the salmon there was very little salmon. Let me start by saying I LOVE Einstein Bagels. I will go out of my way to get them, especially in the weekends. The food is delicious and service relatively good (especially for a bagel place). This location is no exception... until this morning. They were very busy, not surprising for a Sunday, so instead of ordering my usual bagel & schmear, I figured I would give them a break and just order a 1/2 dozen, which would take much less time to prepare and we could all go on our merry way. Turns out they were "low on bagels," (the basket of bagels I was going to get was overflowing, mind you) so they were only selling individual bagels. So I ordered 3 bagels & schmear toasted, which took an extra 20 minutes because they were so busy. It also cost 2x as much as just getting a 1/2 dozen (not that it really matters, just icing on the cake). Needless to say, I'm very disappointed in this location, and if they don't pick up their act, I will have to find my weekend bagels elsewhere. read more

This location is so slow. They are clearly understaffed and management is no help. The was out the door with just as many people waiting after they've paid. There's one poor guy making all of the food with three cashiers who clearly cannot help and a manager who finds it more important to break down boxes in the back room. To be fair, I understand that it is Black Friday at 11am. However, I find that an unfitting excuse. Apparently not 10 minutes before we showed up there was a rush on plain bagels. Barely anything left, no more pumpkin cream cheese (because it was only an "autumn flavor") and every flavored cream cheese is 25% less fat? The new batch of bagels to replenish the popular flavors that were empty were't even in the oven yet and would have taken 30+ minutes to cook. Will not be returning to Einsteins again. There must be a Chompies or a local bagel eaterie nearby that would provide a better experience than the one I had today. read more

Not impressed. At all. I ordered a ham & swiss bagel sandwich, with no egg, on an Asiago bagel. My sandwich looked goofy, the cheese wasn't melted, and the bagel itself tasted dry. To top it all off, the employees are incredibly rude. I've been to other Einstein locations and I've never been impressed by the customer service. But this time, was even worse. Patty was the cashier and she had a horrible attitude, like she didn't want to be there. A friend of mine asked if she could buy tea bags (they're on display in front) because she is always looking for a good chamomile tea to relax her and she though they looked fairly good. Patty looked at my friend as if she had killed her puppy. She rolled her eyes, said no- that she could only sell hot tea in the cup and not the individual bags. Whether or not that's true is not the issue; the issue is how rude and condescending Patty was upon presenting the information. She was muttering under her breath and rolling her eyes at my friend! So rude and unnecessary. Einstein bagels needs some new management and trainers ASAP, because the employees obviously don't want their jobs. read more

I come here a lot because unfortunately there are not any good coffee shops in my area. If Einsteins is the best coffee shop then you are in trouble right? :) The good: -Coffee is good, fresh, and free refills -Bagels are good -Staff is friendly The bad: -Messy, the tables are always dirty even when they're not busy. This is so annoying...just take a moment to wipe the tables down please! -No power outlets. I know some places do this on purpose so people like me won't hang around too long. -Small, there aren't that many seats. -Did I mention the messy tables? :) It's not busy right now and the kids behind the counter aren't doing much, come wipe down the tables.
