Einstein Bros is a pretty big bagel chain in the U.S. It's a standard bagel shop that also serves sandwiches and coffee. My favorite is the salmon shmear on the honey wheat bagel. Pretty fast service even when the place was super packed. Didn't take more than 5 minutes to receive my order after placing it. Option to toast the bagel is pretty nice as well. A bit pricey as two bagels were almost $6. Also not as good as Noah's (the predecessor in this location) but good enough. Seating indoors was limited so I'd recommend getting this to-go because we ended up eating them in our car anyway. Tip: Free ninety minutes parking with validation. read more

so, noah's bagels was a personal favorite and i was so sad to see that they had changed to a einstein bagels. i finally had a chance to try it out. i got my usual peet's coffee and walked next door to get a delicious bagel. i was surprised to find that their bagels are awesome. the honey wheat bagel was tasty and perfect on it's own. i got it toasted and just ate it enjoying every last morsel! they also carry a cinnamon sugar bagel. i used to adore the mini cinnamon sugar bagels noah's used to carry so was happy to see that they carried these! read more

Tried this place out for the first time since 2 years ago. I ordered a turkey sandwich and 1 side onion bagel. Food was okay, not as good as bagels in the grocery aisle and sandwich I've even tasted better tasting sandwiches at Vons. Big let down was the customer service. I came in with my mom who can be very picky about her panini. That being said, she has a lot of questions, which is fine cause it was her first time at this place. My mom was asking the cashier questions and the worker had some serious attitude, giving my mom dumb looks, and just being really rude, I can tell she hates her job, she is a Mexican girl with glasses who was annoyed of my mom, she even rolled her eyes, at that point I wanted to walk out, no respect to my mom? Too bad my mom was really hungry. One thing that also bugs me is that When we came in the store no greeting like even a simple hello, hi, or welcome & no single smile from any of the workers that day. Not cool, being a manager of a bakery retail place, the moment a customer walks in out comes the smiles, and friendliness personality. Customers are always top priority. The only bummer about this place is the long line. They try to move it as quickly as they can but it takes a long time separate pair if you go here. The bagels are the best in town I really do love them best cream cheese they have a huge variety really good the staff is helpful. I love the farm house Breakfast sandwich with one egg. I always always get my dogs bagels here because they have doggy bagels here. The food is good. The lines are super long and I really think they should fix the work flow to make it more efficient. There are times you get your food before your hot drink and you have to sit there while your food gets cold. My favorite thing to order is the hash brown bagel with egg and cheese or the apple cinnamon bagel with plain cream cheese. The honey almond cream cheese is delicious too. Husband likes the sesame bagel with egg and swiss cheese. One other annoying thing - if the person that takes your order misses something out (the screen on the register didn't show my order), the person at the second register will add it on as a separate order to your original one. You end up having to wait for two orders instead of one (made at different times). I am clearly not a fan of my food sitting lol read more

First off the bagels are fine. Not great, not the best. Just fine. The coffee is meh. Good thing Peet's is next door. My complaint as someone who lives around the corner is the inconsistent customer service. On any day depending on their mood you'll get some of the worst or some of the friendliest service. I'm really tired of it. I don't appreciate the feeling of being a burden to someone in their job simply because I walked in and want to buy something. And depending on the day or who you get, that's exactly the vibe. No smile or hello: just "the stare." As in "what do YOU want?" I'll tell you what I want: to buy something at your business that's selling something that provides you a paycheck. That's all. So cool it with the attitude. It always amazes me, especially during such times of high unemployment companies don't look for the best people they can find. I bet a lot of people in their 50's or 60's (or even 40's) who've been pushed out of a job would really appreciate the work. Instead it's mostly 20 year olds who are surly and resentful they have to serve bagels to a line of people out the door. Cry me a river. Not everyone is bad. There are a few who strive to provide good customer service. Not butt-kissing - just friendliness, no attitude. One of them recently left I think. It was a young guy who worked the register. He was awesome. There's a girl there with, pardon me, a birthmark on her face. She's such a sweetheart. She should be running the place, if you ask me. Anyhow, if you're craving a bagel (and who craves a bagel anyhow?) I guess go there and see for yourself. If you just want delicious coffee and super-great food, skip it. One star is actually one too many. This is such a ridiculous store that has changed names/owners twice a year. Went this morning stood in line for 10 minutes just fo find out all they had were egg bagels, hundreds of those, and a couple of pretzel bagels. And nothing else, no plain, no seseme, no nothing. And 20 minutes until they get any because they just were putting them in. Not that their bagels are that exceptional, I usually go here once a month because they are the closest to me, but their service is always crap. This review is more for my experience here than for their bagels. I came in on Mothers' Day around 9:30 or 10:00 am to get a half-dozen bucket. My first issue is that they were almost completely out of bagels and it wasn't even 10:00 yet. But anways... Here's the weird part... I started picking out which bagels I wanted, and first asked for a gourmet cheese bagel. The girl helping me said it would cost extra, so I opted for the regular cheese bagel instead. She put that in the bag, and then I asked for 2 sesame bagels. As I was looking around to decide what to pick next, the girl helping me started whipsering to another employee and the other employee said something along the lines of, "That's fine just include it and don't charge extra," and the girl helping me put one of the gourmet cheese bagels in my bag. At first I thought "Wow that was nice", as I thought she was giving me the gourmet bagel and not charging me extra. Next I picked out another flavor, and as I was deciding on the next one I see the girl helping me take bagels out of my bag and hand them to the other employee. I asked her what happened and she nonchalantly replies, "Oh they needed those for another order." She had taken out both my sesame bagels (AND I realized the cheese one earlier, of which they were now out of, which is why she gave me the gourmet one in its place) and given them away!!! The worst part was that they were now out of sesame bagels (which I guess is why they took them from me, because there weren't any left in the bin?)...ugh!!! SO bizzarre! I didn't make a fuss and just asked how many I had in the bag now and she said now I had 2, so I practically had to start the whole choosing process over, but now there were only the gross flavors left to choose from! The worst part was that she wouldn't have even told me if I didn't ask what she was doing, so I would've gotten home and not had the bagels I ordered. I'm guessing she felt bad because she secretly put an extra bagel in my bag, but that does not make up for the super strange behavior. Came in to grab two dozen bagels that I phoned in earlier, it was perfect and ready for me the minute I walked in. The server was friendly and also helpful in the selection of shmear. Everything looks fresh and tastier delicious, I would opt to grab your bagels here instead of eating store bought. read more

The old woman who takes the order is extremely loud in your face and rude. Not something I want to deal with while I'm ordering my lunch. Bagels are good but dealing with a stressed out woman taking orders make it a very unpleasant experience. The cashier girls were nice feel bad for them having to be bossed around by the angry woman. this used to be noah's bagels..which i love... but today, i drove into the parking lot noticed the sign is not "noah's" anymore instead it was "einstein". I'm always open for new places to try, so i went in. all the employees are still the same, so i assumed it was just the company name changed. I ordered a blueberry bagel and a cranberry bagel. I didnt like either..the bagels were "flat. they werent rise properly. the cream cheese texture was different--it wasnt whipped nor smooth. I was really disappointed with this place. After working a long night I decided to go to this location to find my whole wheat bagels that seem to be out in every grocery store. Naturally I go to this one. I wish I would of just gone to whole foods. It was about 0615 in the morning and this location did not have whole wheat bagels. I was immediately sad because I was tired from the long night and I thought they ran out really fast. When I asked the employee about the whole wheat bagels she said that they hadn't made them for the day and looked at her coworker with an awkward look. The last 3 times I have visited this establishment, the bagels have been undercooked and chewy. I can't even bring a knife through them without crushing them into a ball. Probably the best bagels around, and some of the best I've ever tasted. Their cinnamon clusters thingy is seriously addictive! It is also a great bonus to have Peet's right next door (actually, there is not even a door between the two). There is always free parking spots (for up to 90 minutes) and usually places to sit. This place reminds me alot of Noah's - which is a place I've loved since my 1st year living in California. I came in here the other day with a hankerin' for Lox & Cream cheese on a bagel; expecting to spend at least $12 - because I'm used to the Deli-style Lox - but to my surprise it was only about $7 ! and it was just as good as any 12-15 lox bagel I've gotten at those over-priced delis - and there was wfi! and the coffee was very tasty! I've been coming here for about 4 years now and I have had good experiences up until this year. The sandwiches have been less than satisfying and I don't know if it's because their menu has changed or if they have changed the way they cook in the back. Today, for example, I ordered a chicken pesto sandwich and the chicken was not done all the way. I thought the texture was off so I looked at it, and sure enough, it was pink!! GROSS. It was loaded with so much pesto that my bagel was soggy. I walk here from work from time to time and of course, I didn't notice any of this until I got back to my office. Not really convenient to go take it back, otherwise I would. When you pay $10 for a sandwich and a drink, you expect to at least have an edible meal. I'm not sure I'll be back. read more
