Just visited this location on 31-MAY-2026 - unbelievable how stale and not good all of our $25+ orders were. I say $25+ because we had 2 separate orders one that was via the app that my wife placed and a second one we placed in real time. My goodness, every single doughnut had obviously been made several days prior and they were all stale tasting and they were all very hard to the touch. If you cannot figure out how to manufacture doughnuts efficiently and fresh, I kindly recommend you bow out and give way to the many local businesses that can. Went here as our normal Einstein was closed for New Year. Ordered 6 bagels and 2 coffees. They individually wrapped them in bags. Opened a couple, and it seemed like we had bought store bought bagels. Then I opened my Poppy Seed. No mistake, the picture says it all. That bag is what a typical Einstein Bagel is in size. Kelley, the one and only true manager for this location has been decorated by the company for her top tier ability in taking care of customers and employees. In fact this location is the training ground for new managers. Picked up breakfast Sunday. Easy to order online and pickup waiting on a shelf. The Farmhouse sandwich was really good, you can taste the bacon & ham. The moderate use of pepper smear compliments the sandwich and appreciate it comes with cheddar... detest American cheese. The Santa Fe egg sandwich was alright. The turkey sausage on it was pretty good. The jalapeno salsa cream cheese smear had a weird texture. They out way more of the smear on than needed so it overwhelmed everything else. The jalapeno salsa smear does have some kick. We also ordered a honey wheat bagel with strawberry cream cheese and it was perfection. I have worked in the retail and restaurant industry. It is human nature to make mistakes...but it's how problems are handled and resolved that matters. The manager Sean or Shawn (sp?) was quick to personally help me & went above and beyond. He was sincerely apologetic and gave me options to resolve. After everything was said & done, me, my husband and kids are all very happy. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious! Thanks for great service & food! Chris older man cashier was so rude to me like if it bother him to served me. I asked him I wanted the special that I seen at the door as soon I walked in. He tells me all bothered that's only Monday. So I go back and take a picture of the advertising sign it said Monday-Friday till 11am. He finally gave me that special then I also asked him I wanted the cream cheese tubs 2 for $4.00. His face said it all somehow he seem very bothered with me placing an order. His team member female, possibly from India (I say that cause Chris yelled at me and said they have 5 female employees when I called to explain what happened) forgot napkins and gave me 2 creams for my large coffee and got upset with me when I asked for more, telling me there was a 4 cream max for large coffee and 2 sugar. I said no I would like more plus I only have 2 and she yanked the bag from my hand and walked away. Also the bagel "burrito" was hard as a rock and the hash brown potato bite things were raw. Customer services leaves a poor representation of this brand which is probably owned and operated by an individual as a franchise. They will have you order items that aren't available and pay for them. Only after you stand and wait wasting your time will they tell you they They don't have the food you ordered. Then they want to argue with you when you ask for a refund and cop an attitude. I won't return to this location as they can't keep track of what's available with so few customers in the store. Awesome bagels. But I can also get these at the local grocery store/diner. Show me what's different between you and a local shopping center. I'm guessing it's the "schmear ". For $8, I got 13 bagels in a cardboard transport container - 3 plain, 2 cinnamon raisin, 2 blueberry, 2 honey whole wheat, 2 sesame, and 2 asiago. I felt really rushed at the counter when I stopped by to pick up a bakers dozen on my way out of town. There was no one behind me, which made me even more confused as to why they were rushing me. When I arrived at my sister's house in Louisiana, we opened the bagels the next morning to find that they didn't even get my order right. Although this business has been around for many years, I can't help but wonder how. A real bagel should be bathed in boiling water before baking which they don't do. True bagel's should not be soft and spongy, they should be a little crispy. To add insult to injury, this company has eliminated salmon cream cheese as an option. Plan to spend 20 minutes waiting to have a single person key your order then wait for someone else to choose a few bagels and place in bag. I used to go to the Einstein Bros. all the time back home. I just moved to Plano and was very unhappy with the customer service here!! Nicole, took my order wrong. I saw it on the screen and had to correct her, then she told me to go down to the last cash register to pay... but that was wrong too. She never said sorry or even acted as if she cared. I had to return to the register next to hers to pay. When I said out loud this is confusing... NO ONE said sorry just a lame excuse about something being new... What??? Then when getting my order they didn't even mention I needed to get my own banana and put it in my bag. They were siting on the counter, but how am I supposed to know that I need to get it myself. Disappointed with the customer service at this location. Waited up front for about 5 minutes before any of the 3 staff members that were playing around in the back came up front. The entire time they have been making my order, they have been playing around, trying to make each other make my order, teasing each other, and joking around with the manager that was leaving. Although this location used to serve decent food, it now ranks low on food quality and service. My husband ordered a breakfast bagel sandwich for me with egg, spinach, bacon and cheese on a cheese topped bagel. The staff failed to add spinach, used 3 tiny flavorless pieces of bacon and the whole sandwich was flavorless and cold (comparable to piece of cardboard). When I called to speak with the manager to explain the issue, a female that answered the phone claimed to be the manager. They move the line really fast, get your food out almost instantaneously. I mean really very well coordinated, which is needed as it is a busy location too. The fact that it is so busy, I actually like as it gives a nice vibe inside: elders gathering, youngsters meeting up on business ideas, families giving themselves an easy morning off. What can I say about Einstein Brothers? They have great Bagels. OK there is a but. Cramped, crowded,line slow moving? Yes, if the person in front of you orders anything besides bagels there is always a slow down. If it gets backed up they send you to the other side of the counter to pile up with the other folks who are getting their coffee and other beverages. So you wait in a cluster until your name is called. They are SERIOUSLY over-priced! On everything! Even the offer of 25% off bagels after 4 is restriction filled. They bagels are great, everything else is not. You can see how things are prepared, a lot of holding bins and microwaves. The meat on the sandwiches are sparse at best and don't have that deli quality. The tubed up "Schmears" are a joke. No creaminess, only fake flavors and colors. They are whipped so you get much less.
