Service is always quick. Because of the fact that they are busy, the bagels are freshly baked and replenished. I stick around to bagels with smears rather than going for the ones that come with omelet. I somehow feel bagel and eggs do not go well together. Actually I like the coffee in this place as well. Just got back from trying Einstein bagels for the first time in Texas, it was BOMB. I found out that I lived near one here in Cali, At this location the jalapeño Bagel was barely filled with cream cheese. The Hash brown bagel tasted like a plain bagel. $2 for cream cheese? Might as well buy your block of cream cheese and bring it with you. And lastly the cold brew chocolate cream drink claims to have coffee but instead tastes like watered downed chocolate milk. We mentioned the taste of the drink and asked to switch to the caramel cream instead, thankfully they let us switch. Still not worth $5 for this drink. read more

I understand that in this economy, including the outrageous inflation, that, unfortunately, food, sanitary environments, & cleanliness have fallen short. This is across all large franchises, there isn't enough staff to work, and owners don't care anymore about the cleanliness of their restaurants. This particular location has definitely fallen into place. There were so many staff coughing, wiping their faces, sneezing and still continuing to prepare the food. There was staff cleaning around food prep. The bathroom was horrendous and smelled putrid. The food quality has gone down. And for two bagel sandwiches and two drinks at almost $36 plus tip - this trip was totally not worth it. I hope that the owner starts to take pride and their location and really enforces some sort of cleaning schedule , along with simply just wiping the tables down. I also hope the owner trains their staff on sanitary practices, and encourages staff to stay home if they're sick. But if it happens to be allergies, that is driving some of their symptoms, wearing gloves helps and washing hands. I don't think I'm ever going to return. I've gone to this location probably over 40 times. Each time has gotten worse. And again, the food quality is just not there anymore, and with the inflated prices, it's not worth it anymore. read more

Love this Einstein Bagel location! Not sure why they have such a bad rating on here! The staff are friendly and try to get your order to you as quickly as they can, but sometimes it does take some time if there's a lot of people they're servicing. That's understanding. It's not like they're standing around not doing anything. You can tell everyone that works here is hard-working! All the bagels are great! I love the everything, blueberry and garlic bagels! The Nova Lox is my bf's favorite! The one problem I have is that not all their bagels are listed on the app so it's hard for me to order ahead of time. Still not a big deal! Horrible customer service from everyone single person in the facility. I placed a mobile order today. I went to the order ahead section and nothing was there. I waited maybe 5-10mins, standing there thinking that they were going to place my order there. Several employees walked pasted me, looked at me and said nothing. I finally went to the order counter and asked them when my order would be ready, a older lady came by and said "oh you need to wait by the pickup counter". I told her I was waiting there for along time and nothing was there. Then another employee came and grabbed a bag on table behind the counter and gave it to me. Apparently my order had been done but nobody placed it on the order ahead shelf. I did not receive a "sorry" or "my apologies" from anyone. I don't know why they have only 3 stars. I had the most delicious nova lox and bagel. My bagel was plain although the best bagel I've ever had. It was soft toasted and warm, plain but most flavorful. It even had the corn meal on the bottom side. The Lox was fresh along with tomatoes and capers. A thin spread of Smear just like I like. The weird thing was I ordered at one register then paid at a different registered. When I asked if the orange juice was freshly squeezed i was told " no it's just minutmaid" lol then I asked if they had hot tea and the answer was "we just have green tea bags" lol I get it, this is a bagel shop they not trying to sale too much of anything else. Classic/Authentic and charming New York customer service. Bagels are good enough to over look how disorganized they seem to be. I went on a national holiday so they get a little break today. Last time I come here. Despite the wrong orders, overpriced Minute Maid concentrated orange juice and extremely long and seemingly unnecessary wait times, they want to charge $2 for extra cream cheese; sometimes. Sometimes they charge for it, sometimes they don't. I guess it depends on who's at the counter. I wouldn't mind it if the standard amount of cream cheese wasn't spread on like butter. It's a joke. Awful way to manage a situation! Placed a $40 Order Ahead through mobile app. Waited 30 minutes with a bunch of other frustrated customers. Finally asked the manager if my order was coming. She tells me the iPhone app is not working so they are not receiving the orders. My card was charged and my time was wasted. Manager didn't say sorry, never made an announcement, and no signs anywhere. Just wasted 30 minutes and didn't get any food. Things happen but this situation couldn't have been handled any worse. Was craving a bagle sandwich but wasn't really close to my personal favorite so opted for this place since it was nearby. My honest opinion was it was overly priced for the lack of flavor and ingredients in my sandwich. I had never been so was unsure how to order but must admit your staff member was very polite and patient with me. Its could be I had high expectations for this place since the pricing was high? And in doing so was a bit more disappointed after eating. A breakdown of what I went with was the all-nighter egg sandwich on a bacon jalapeño cheddar beagle. I'll be honest it smelled and looked delicious but biting into it was a wee bit tough and very heavy on the sauce. My sandwich was filling but also on the salty side which makes me come to the opinion I may not return. I did get the mango ice tea to compliment and sadly no amount of sugar could save me from the unpleasant after tast. Perhaps it was just an off day because my partner has raved about them but for myself they fell short. If you plan on dining in they do not allow indoor seating and unfortunately at the time we arrived all outdoor limited spots were taken. It's a shared lot with other spaces and a lovely outdoor area so if you don't mind going a little out of the way you'll be able to find a nice spot to dine. As a person who's always looking for places that accommodates for ada needs this place does hold up. It's but fully ada and wheelchair accessibility with ample room for me to comfortably maneuver around in my wheelchair. My overall takeaways is for my personal preference It's not for me, especially for the prices not matching the quality I had hoped to get. However this place isn't actually that bad I just wish they notify you indoor dining is not an option so dining may be limited if their outdoor seats are all occupied. You also have to remind them about things they omitted. (Sigh). This location is near Torrance memorial, so you get a lot of traffic from patients and health care professionals. The bagel has good flavor. I got the Cinnamon Sugar and Cinnamon Raisin bagels. They did not cut or toast it. I did not have anything put on it, but it would have been nice to have it cut in half. Or at least ask me if I wanted it cut. Maybe if I wanted butter or something on it. Either way it was tasty and fresh. The gentleman that took our order was very friendly, patient and helpful. How hard is it to slice a bagel to go?, It is not rocket science. You have lost me as a customer. I've become tired of receiving bagels that are sliced uneven, which makes it impossible to toast them when you get home. Today you sent me with broken bagels, or the everything bagel with not much of anything.
