My convection microwave was allegedly repaired by another company who, in the process,apparently broke something unrelated to the issue. While it still worked, it didn't work as it did prior to their repair and finally gave up the fan ghost. I am not an easy customer but after reading the reviews on Yelp decided to contact Ekrantech. Alex ordered the correct part, gave me a more than fair price, showed up on time (if not early), fixed the microwave within an hour and was professional and patient. I'd recommend him for any and all appliance repairs and plan on letting all my neighbors know that instead of wasting money on worthless "extended service" contracts, they need to call Ekrantech. Our washer just suddenly stopped working and after seeing the reviews here, I decided to call Ekrantech. Talked to Alex over the phone and he came over the house within 30 minutes. He diagnosed the machine and told me that it needed a replacement part. He thoroughly explained everything and showed me the damaged part. He gave me a quote and I agreed (you really can't beat his price)...Unfortunately, he didn't have the part handy so he decided to order it and he came back within an hour. Saw the reviews before hiring him and let me just say that all the "bad" reviews weren't even for the service! The bad reviews were from people who didn't even hire him and the one bad review who did hire him just couldn't take a sarcastic joke! Ridiculous how someone can rate someone bad because of a joke! People who work in your home will humor you to make you feel comfortable about the fact that they have a stranger in their house. Anyways!
