Amazing food. My favorite hidden gem. Great service, great ambiance, great service, and of course, AWESOME food. I want to try everything.

i love this place, ive eaten here about 4 times in the past week. such good pupusas, the curtido is so good i could eat it by itself. i havent eaten inside before, i only do takeout but the food is packaged well and nothing has ever been spilled or missing. 10/10 in my opinion. id eat here every day if i could

Ok - appearances aside (this place is spartan, to say the least), the food passes muster and then some. Only real problem you may encounter is a bit of a language barrier, and maybe a short attention span, but trust me - the food is worth the trouble. Load up on tacos and pupusas (had the pork and cheese and cheese pupusas'; and beef, chicken, pork, and barbacoa tacos - pork and beef definitely the best). Skip dessert though... Ordered empanadas and they were lacking. Next time I think I'll try something grander, and there will be a next time, most definitely. If you live anywhere near the Burg, go to El Asador.

One of the best places for papusas and tamales around. Also their tacos are so good. There is a language barrier. Other then that. LOVE IT

Ordered a variety of plates as the family wanted a few options for an early dinner We ordered the baleadas with meat, queso birrias, chicken tamales, and pupusas. Overall, the pupusas were the best and the winner amongst the family. The baleadas were a little disappointing as it was a few little marinated meat, and the queso birrias were okay, nothing wrong with them. And the chicken tamales were good. Overall, definitely returning and likely trying other plates such as their soups or other traditional Central American plates.

The meat felt like a cheap cut and the flavor wasn't good. The salad looked old but I always enjoy trying the carne asada at different places because some times I have a big craving. It just wasn't worth the price but even if I had paid half the price, I wouldn't order it here again. The service was friendly and the ambiance was nice. As mentioned earlier, it's a bit cool in the restaurant so be prepared for that. There have been some very hot days so this place can be a refreshing place to dine in. There was a decent selection on the menu so at least there are plenty of other choices. If I came here again, I would definitely try a different dish but based off of a common dish not fairing well with me, I'll be skeptical of the others.

I didn't expect a club like atmosphere (or at least that's what I'm assuming it turns into at night), perhaps that is why it was empty. The bartender came over right away and grabbed my beer. She was polite and very quick. She gave me a menu which was a mix of different dishes, but I was in the mood for tacos so I asked her which ones she thought were best. She told me the Birria Tacos, so of course I obliged. At this point I was a bit perplexed, she disappeared for about ten minutes and then came back with my plate (which looked very good) of tacos. I found out that she was not only the bartender but also cooking. The tacos were good, perhaps they needed a little more salt but they had flavor and a good kick. There was a lot of cheese, more than I typically have, it didn't make them bad but I don't think it needed it. Overall, it was good, I will be back and I will try more on the menu.
