Do NOT come here with a big group. After making reservations & spending thousands as a group for drinks & food, a member from the group was assaulted by an employee. At the beginning of the night, we were told we can use the side door to use the bathroom. After using it all night without a problem, an incompetent worker, negligent to understand the context of the situation tried to block a member of the party from coming back in after using the restroom. Instead of being reasonable and comprehending the situation, it escalated to an assault by the worker where a woman was even hurt with broken jewelry and a drink spilled all over her. Throughout the entire interaction, the paying members inside were telling the worker that the member trying to come back from the restroom has been with the group all night. Employees offered a free bottle after knowing they were in the wrong, we declined and left due to the terrible hospitality. Workers need to be taught ethics and learn to act more professional. Tricking customers into tipping? So the food here is good. And the people who work there are nice. But the automatic-tipping policy needs to change! This is a place where you walk up and order your food at a counter. There is no waitress or waiter. So I found this a little odd last week. I noticed on my receipt they add on an automatic gratuity! For food that I order at the counter?! All I ordered was a couple of tacos and a beverage -- and I had a $1.50 gratuity automatically added on. Second, and here's the big gripe: there's no way to know that a tip has already been added to your total, before they encourage you to tip (more, a second tip). When I ordered and the cashier told me my total, I handed her my debit card and she gives it back to me with the charge-card slip that I need to sign, which only shows the total amount. (It doesn't show a breakdown of what cost what - just the total that's being charged to your card.) Fine. That receipt has a line for a "gratuity" so I added a tip of $2, add it up and write in the new total, and sign at the bottom. So far, fine. Once that's signed, I am given my card back -- this time, however, it's with an itemized receipt which shows the cost breakdown (what I ordered, tax, etc). ***Turns out a tip was already in there!*** So when I added the $2 tip, I was tipping her ON TOP OF the tip that had already been added, but there is no way for me to know that. Obviously, I like to tip and do so. ***But please first inform your customers that the cashier is already being tipped automatically, and that a tip has already been included.*** It's not even on what we're asked to sign so there is truly no way of knowing. (I may be wrong, but I also didn't even see a sign on the register that say "gratuity included on bill." Maybe it's on the menu? If so, it is not obvious as I did not see it.) It's also just odd to have automatic tipping for what is counter-service. But if you're going to do it, that's fine - just let people know so they don't spend their hard-earned money tipping someone TWICE. read more

I walked in and decided to use the restroom, which had a nice set up but it wasn't kept clean and smelled like urine. I then went to place an order, they were 2 ladies and a man talking to each other behind the register and none of them acknowledged my presence. I didn't know if it was self serve or of I had to sit and would be helped, since no one acknowledged me I grabbed a menu and looked at what tacos to buy. I then went to to register and asked to place my order. I then sat down and waited for my order, I didn't expect to get charged for the chips but I guess that's besides the point at this time.
