    Bistec sandwich

Bistec sandwich was so hard it was crazy! Looked like we were chewing on jerky, no taste. Cuban sandwich was cold as well. Which dosent make sense because it's a pressed sandwich. overall just not worth the trip. Crew working also really didn't seem pleasant or helpful. They were more concerned with hurrying us out of they way so the just just sit and talk. Go to another location. You'll thank me.

Came here after a long day and it was already really busy for 5PM. Lower rating mostly just for service. It seems like it'll be hard to order food if you don't know Spanish. I don't and couldn't get a worker's attention as other people seemed to know exactly what they want. There were a lot of workers but they definitely weren't there to explain to you what everything is. Best advice would probably to get familiar with Cuban food before coming here. However, you can't complain with the amount of food they give or the taste. It was enough food for almost two meals. Do want to note that there's not really anywhere to sit. Two high booths outside that seat 4 people each (I think).

If you are hungry, just come here. Palacios de los jugos has hands down the best sandwiches ever. No matter which sandwich you order, they are all freshly made, meats are cut to order, and they are just huge and amazing. Staff is always friendly, and its always worth the wait as they make your food for you. We sat outside in the patio to eat and jusy relax. Its nice to not have skyscrapers in the area and be surrounded by trees. 100% worth it!

This place truly is a Miami staple. I've been to different of their locations and tried this one for the first time. Food is the same options and quality as the other locations. I got myself the turkey sandwich which is amazing! And of course, they do live up to their name (palace of juices), with all the variety of juices they have. Most of the juices they have, they also offer in form of smoothie as well. For my party, we got the Mamey shake, tamarind juice, and mango juice. They are always very pure and never watered down! Although food is great, I have to say...this location is my least favorite. It is very cramped and even the entrance by sandwich area is so weird and small. I do think they can do a better job in changing the flow of the store inside.

Since I recently moved to the area, we were looking for new places to have breakfast or pickup breakfast for the family. We decided to stop here and checkout their Cafe con leche and Cuban toast. While in there we noticed that the they have breakfast special of eggs, bacon or ham, fries, Cuban toast and cafe con leche so we decided to place an order to go. I liked their breakfast special , not the healthiest but satisfying. We checked out their hot food to go and although it looked great, we found the price to be on the high side. I need to go back and have my favorite natural juices which this place definitely has.

Sandwich Cuban Regular, $6.40 (no pickles, no mustard)

I knew I wanted to pop into one of the many locations of these very popular, fast-casual, and cafeteria-style Cuban chain restaurants. I guess this one is not the most popular, but I happened to pass by anyways and visited on a dime. As others have pointed out, this location is convenient since it's on the edge of the Everglades NP, however you might experience a language barrier with the workers. If ordering from the menu, it's very understandable though and ordering in Spanish is easy for me. CASH-ONLY, bare in mind! I ordered a *Sandwich Cuban Regular* for $6.40 because how could you not? Miami is practically the birth place of the sandwich. This one was pressed fresh for me. It came loaded with ham, a helping of roast pork, and some cheese. I was able to communicate to leave out the pickles and mustard, so maybe mine wasn't as traditional, haha. For the price, the sandwich is rather large in my opinion although you can go elsewhere and get more filling mashed in between. This sandwich did originate in the US and was invented by Cuban immigrants, so, no, you will not find anything this elaborate and packed in the actual country of Cuba. Think of it as a ham and cheese sandwich on steroids. They have plenty of sandwiches on the menu that they will prep fresh, but their juices also seemed noteworthy. In the cafeteria area, there wasn't too many food items set out in the morning. A solid choice for a cheap eat!

I hadn't been here in years but I found myself wanting a coco frio and I knew this would be the place! The coconuts are sitting in ice and they open them for you right there which was great! There's an assortment of fresh juices as well as desserts and hot Cuban food! The chicharrones are also a must!

I'm adding some stars cause there's been changes! Customer service was on point today by two different employees!!!! That's a miracle but I'm not complaining! And hey've also done some reorganizing...pictures below show it to be tidy compared to my last visit. All in all between my timbita and my watermelon juice...I was a happy girl!

This El Palacio de los Jugos on 8th Street in Miami is a great place to go for delicious food that is ready when you need it. I really like the selection of different items that they have available here and the prices that they have for everything. I have enjoyed all of the orders that I have made from here.

THIS FILTHY DISGUSTING RESTAURANT SOLD MY FAMILY SPOILED MEAT WKTH MAGGOTS YESTERDAY! Just showed up there with the food and they were not even apologetic and denied having sold it even though they knew very well we were just there about an hour earlier. Their lack of concern and acknowledgement only proves that they're going to continue to serve spoiled food. STAY AWAY PEOPLE! Don't let this happen to your family. Don't let your kids eat this filth. Find a clean restaurant that cares about the customers.

Mango shake. This is the first time I visited this place and near Christmas was kind of crazy. The line for special orders was out into the parking lot. Next to the main entrance is a stand with whole roast pigs and people were buying it either by the pound or as pan con lechon. I was tempted but opted for a media noche, order of mariquitas and a guarapo. Heaven! 12/22/13

You can't beat the portions for the price. 3 people can eat from one meal. It's traditional Cuban fare. Try the chicharrones. Divine!

Stay away. Had lunch there today and got food poisoning from the cold Lechon, rock solid tostones and greasy Moros.

During live performances, one waitress would get up on stage and play instruments and at other times bartenders would join in. I was truly smiling from ear to ear all night. I drank delicious mojitos all night and even with a packed venue the drinks came out extremely fast! Although the restaurant was packed, our waitress remained extremely kind and attentive throughout the night. To me, the food was just good. We had the Jamón Serrano Croquetas to start. They were a little cold for my taste and not the best I've ever had but they weren't bad. My husband really loved his skirt steak ropa vieja and didn't leave a single grain of rice. I opted for the rabo encendido pasta. I like that they weren't skimpy on the rabo. The downside of this place is that to maximize space, you're packed in like sardines. The tables are basically on top of each other. A larger sized person would not fit getting in and out of their seat and my husband was constantly backing up into the people seated behind him. Overall, this is a place you definitely visit for the atmosphere above food. I will 100% be coming back for drinks, appetizers and more live music. It is an incredible spot especially for those looking for Cuban nostalgia.

Regardless when we arrived they sat us outside which is exactly what we were hoping for. Our server was nice at first. Explained all the popular dishes got our drinks out very quickly. I think she stole our table from someone else because shortly after someone came and we told them we put our order in and he seemed a little bothered. Unfortunately, our other server disappeared and never checked up on us. We pretty much didn't have any napkins during our entire duration of our meal. At least that part was good. We started off with a couple of mojitos and their Vaca Frita Tostones. You get these homemade maduro tostones topped off with shreeded beef in a moon sauce, pickled onion, and aji Amarillo aioli. A very delicious dish that didn't last long. Shortly after we received our main dish. I really hate when they do that. My wife ordered their Abuelas Ropa Vieja and I ordered their Masa de Puerco Chino. My wife didn't really care for her dish much. We've had plenty of Ropa Vieja before and would have preferred a congri type of rice as opppsed to just plain white rice. My dish was 10/10. Like in the name of "chino" this is an Asian inspired dish with fried rice, maduros, pineapple confit and crispy pork. A very delicious dish. It could have don't without the little salad on top, but at least it ads color to the dish. The crispy pork tasted so amazing and the fried had so much flavor. Mix in some of the maduros and you get a sweet and savory dish. Would definitely be returning to try this dish again.
