I went to pick up the food from El Pollo Loco Simi Valley on behalf of Postmates. around 8.10pm. Of 12/01 The manager he is about 6ft tall male. he is very impolite and disrespectful to my Asian race by unfinished packing food for my customers then tell me to grab it then he try to joke or bully by speak Tagalog, Chinese,and uncatchable language then laughed at me. while some of staff behind counter are laughing at me while he handed a completely packed food to a white American customers in front of me. The staff is great, and the food is fresh and good. The restaurant is clean and welcoming, and we like it so much more than any other EPL. I ordered the 10 piece chicken, and it was just cooked and delicious. This is now our "go-to" chicken restaurant. In the past, we went to the one in Thousand Oaks. The chicken at that EPL is dried out and hard, probably leftover from the previous day. We will never go to Thousand Oaks EPL again! read more

Asked an employee if she was coming back, he said yes she is coming, as I looked past him I could see her standing in the back just talking away to cashier who had taken my order. I get 1 hour for lunch folks. I went to grab the bag that that they said was mine and left. Got back to work and its THE WRONG ORDER!!!! The bag they said was mine was not. The gentleman who made the burrito seemed confused due to my request. Once I got home, which was less then 5 minutes. My husband and I were so surprised to find the burrito very cold. Hand sanitizer needs refill. Both were out. Repeating my order 5 times at the register and still not able to get it right. I have to say it......I had a good meal here. Filling, tasty, healthy (at least what I had), and reasonably priced. No, it's not the greatest food on earth, but considering the chicken is completely hormone and additive free, it's rotisserie fired, and it had lots of flavor, it gets 4 stars from me. I had a side salad and this corn cake thing that was delish ! Salsa and guac were fresh and flavorful. This is a good, cheap and healthy alternative to other fast food places. It's El Pollo Loco so the food itself is a known commodity. The reason for this low score was due to the manager, who happened to be the person to ring up my order. I ordered a 2-piece meal with a drink and he asked if I wanted to add a churro to my order. I said no. He asked if I was sure, I said no again. He started to mention how tasty it is and I said no a third time. When he started again I finally said, "Are you going to make me say 'no' four times??" The girl at the cash register next to him seem to smile, by her look I imagine this is a known customer frustration.
