Carne Asada Burrito

Absolutely terrible. $17 for a burrito. Chipotle has better meat and that's not saying much. The entire thing tasted spoiled. Unfortunate because it looked good at first. Taste was just terrible. This isn't carne asada. Went straight to the trash

Great breakfast

This is a tiny little restaurant in a strip mall and I was awestruck from the moment I got there. Behind the counter, Kayla, was friendly and helpful and served us the yummiest breakfast ever. Two pancakes the size of steering wheels, eggs, bacon and a huge choirzo then finished off with a heaping cup of fresh fruit. Anyway, I sincerely suggest anyone liking fresh made tasty food, go there immediately and commence eating.

Birria pizza

All I can say is yum! You may not have noticed this place tucked away in a small plaza, but you definitely need to stop by and give them a shot. The birria pizza is absolutely delicious. I love the concept and it was very flavorful. We will definitely be back.

We ate dinner here two nights in a row this week and both times had the steak torta and birria tacos. Their food is fresh, delicious and served with a variety of chilled tasty salsas. We've eaten at the restaurant 3 times to date and will continue to come back when we are in the area.

I couldn't even wait to finish eating to make this post. Birria quesadilla!!!!!! Best thing I ate while visiting!!!! Everything was seasoned to perfection. The service was amazing and the ambiance was super cute.

Hello.... Last night we visited this location at 1099 North Military tri in West Palm Beach. We have been there before and just like last night the food was AMAZING AND DELICIOUS. Service is great and the ladies always helpful with getting you the best deals and prices. We end up getting the family package of Birria Tacos which came with 12 tacos, the dipping soup, lime, onions and cilantro. It was perfect. We also got to large freshly made Horchata the strawberry kind. When I tell you we could have shared one of those drinks it was so big but worth it. They have many different fresh drinks to choose from. Their menu is a good selection of many different types of food and they also have breakfast options. So yes we highly suggest this restaurant for a good meal....

Esquite with Hot Cheetos

We ordered the birria family pack and the esquite with hot Cheetos. The esquite was really good, generous amounts of cheese crema and hot Cheetos to give it a kick. The birria tacos were also extremely generous with the beef, the soup was great and flavorful.

It was a bit difficult to find parking but found it in a little corner. I'm used to visiting the food truck when I'm in the area but finally being in the restaurant was a nice change. The girl at the counter was really nice and patient. I really liked the decorations even if it's a small restaurant. My food was good. I ordered the al pastor tacos and an esquite. Which I love every time. I'm glad I finally got to visit the restaurant. Because every time I visit west palm el rucon is definitely my go to place to eat tacos.

Birria Special Combo

I was craving birria at 9pm and this was one of the few places that were still open, so I went. The birria special hit the spot! But I do wish the serving sizes were larger. I enjoyed the decor of the restaurant. The people were nice and seemed to really enjoy working there. Thank you for being open late. I'll be back!

We ordered a few cocktails, the El Segundo Classico, a classic margarita, and the Oaxaca Peach Old Fashioned made of blanco tequila and a bit of mezcal, very refreshing to start off with. Our servers recommended a few different menu items. The Pimento Cheese Elote Dip small plate was delicious. We then moved on to the tacos - the Brisket Burnt Ends, the Chicharron Ceviche, and the Cali Fish (my favorite). The Cali Fish was nicely fried and just a bit of heat and slightly sweet slaw. Also tried the Birria Tacos and the Burrito, both great. We loved sitting outside in front of the restaurant. There are few artist studios across the parking lot. I thought El Segundo was a solid 4.5/5.

El Segundo has ample indoor and outdoor seating. Though slammed, I sat at the bar and met Connor. His beer "is so cold, your teeth will hurt." That statement is a sign on Isla Majure. The menu is awesome. Prices are great. It was tough to finish my blackened chicken burrito! Deliciosa!!! But what makes this place vibe is the young staff. They rock! And they got each other's 6. I witnessed this as Sam was pouring one of their famous margaritas. As she was close to empty with her container, Connor does a stealthy maneuver and slips in another container for her. Sam did not miss a beat because of Connor. Everyone and I mean everyone connects. It is worth your time. Enjoy the local art too.

Without looking at the menu, we asked our server if they had Jamaica drink. He said yes and brought out this super bright red drink. You could tell they mixed something together. Taste like tamarind and a bunch of cinnamon. Red flag. I should have known we should have left after that. If you don't have something, why lie? We would have happily gotten something else. It was my mistake for not looking at the menu I guess. Chips and salsa were actually very good. Chips were fresh and hot. Salsa was good. Not just raw pico de gallo. As for the burrito, it was very very small for what it was. It was kinda greasy. And the taste was just okay. Bf ordered a lengua quesadilla. The meat was good but it was weird with the bell peppers and onion. With the bell pepper, guac and sour cream, it should really been called a quesadilla supreme. This place wasnt for me.

Eh... Google reviews led me astray with this one…read more Chips tasted like the oil they were cooking was rancid. We asked nicely for a new batch but they were the same. We just didn't eat them. Salsa was good. Food was middle of the road. There was a ton on the plate but it was pricey for neighborhood Mexican. There are better options even on Okeechobee. Service was good and it was chill inside (fairly clean, many tables filled, etc) Another review giving it to you straight no chaser! Maybe you'll have a different experience than I did. ‍ -Lizz

My friends and I met here specifically for happy hour. When we were seated, we ordered waters and…read morebrowsed the menu. We inquired about the HH special ($4.20 margaritas from 4-7 p.m.) and the margarita flavors (at no point were we told flavored margaritas were not included in HH). Among the three of us, we had peach, coconut, and raspberry margaritas in rotation (about four rounds). As an entrée, I ordered three steak tacos with cheese and sour cream on the side. About five minutes later, the waitress returned to the table and let me know they were out of steak for the evening. I tried to quickly scan the menu again for something else I would want, since steak was my preferred protein from here. I ended up getting the fajita nachos, which I instantly regretted when they arrived at the table. The chips were clearly burnt. I can only assume this was from placing my food on broil to cook it faster so that my plate would come out at the same time as my friends'. The dish had very little fajita meat and overall just wasn't appetizing. After waiting nearly 30 minutes after visibly being done with our meal for the check, to all of our surprise, when we received our bills, we had been charged full price for all the margaritas. When we asked our waitress about the price difference, she simply repeated, "Flavored margaritas are not happy hour price." We reiterated that we were under the impression we had ordered solely based on the HH special, and honestly, that was the deciding factor in why we chose to come here over La Fonda (we won't make that mistake again). Our waitress simply walked off, and we paid our bill and charged it to the game. We will not be returning. With inattentive service and a scammy HH setup, there are too many competitors in the area to settle for this.
