We pulled up to ElRucon in Palm Beach County and tried the must‑order dishes. Trust me, you'll want to stay till the end. Absolutely terrible. $17 for a burrito. Chipotle has better meat and that's not saying much. The entire thing tasted spoiled. Unfortunate because it looked good at first. Taste was just terrible. This isn't carne asada. Went straight to the trash read more

Wow! I tried this place out about a week or so ago and forgot to do a review on it . Brothers and sisters when i tell you after the food i had i felt like a carne asada right after lol. This is a tiny little restaurant in a strip mall and I was awestruck from the moment I got there. Behind the counter, Kayla, was friendly and helpful and served us the yummiest breakfast ever. Two pancakes the size of steering wheels, eggs, bacon and a huge choirzo then finished off with a heaping cup of fresh fruit. We ate dinner here two nights in a row this week and both times had the steak torta and birria tacos. Their food is fresh, delicious and served with a variety of chilled tasty salsas. We've eaten at the restaurant 3 times to date and will continue to come back when we are in the area. read more

Hello.... Last night we visited this location at 1099 North Military tri in West Palm Beach. We have been there before and just like last night the food was AMAZING AND DELICIOUS. Service is great and the ladies always helpful with getting you the best deals and prices. We end up getting the family package of Birria Tacos which came with 12 tacos, the dipping soup, lime, onions and cilantro. It was perfect. We also got to large freshly made Horchata the strawberry kind. When I tell you we could have shared one of those drinks it was so big but worth it. They have many different fresh drinks to choose from. Their menu is a good selection of many different types of food and they also have breakfast options. Before I get started, I will definitely be coming back to try their cheeseburger! BACK STORY: A friend and I were hanging out downtown West Palm Beach, but every place was crowded and the wait times were way to long to feel like I would be able to sit down and enjoy myself, without being rushed out for the next table. Plus it was football Sunday, lol! I mentioned we should go somewhere authentic and quiet, as I prefer low key dinners and he said "I know a place". Lo and Behold he took me to El Rucon and my my my was I very pleased! THE PLACE: The place was a decent size, bigger than most "mom and pop shops". They had a single use bathroom, about 2-3 tables for customers to sit, also A LOT of parking for people picking up or delivery. It gave me authentic Hispanic/ Latino restaurant. He ordered everything, but I took a look at the menu and found some other great options for next dine-in (photos attached). THE FOOD: The food was indescribably good, lol! The flavors, the dip, the drink, all had their own stand alone experience and I love that about places I go to. It didn't feel like the meat was mass produced, but prepped and ready to be cooked when ordered, a.k.a FRESH! We got Steak tacos with the soup dip. ** FOODIE TIP** If you get that combo here's a little tip. Don't dip the taco, but he said to SUBMERGE the taco and trust me it makes a big difference. We ordered a wide assortment of stuff to try. All of the foods we ordered were horrendously overcooked, burned to a crisp in some cases. We got two cheese empanadas that I couldn't even bite into. Don't bother with this place, there are plenty of better places to go. read more

It was a bit difficult to find parking but found it in a little corner. I'm used to visiting the food truck when I'm in the area but finally being in the restaurant was a nice change. The girl at the counter was really nice and patient. I really liked the decorations even if it's a small restaurant. My food was good. I ordered the al pastor tacos and an esquite. Which I love every time. I'm glad I finally got to visit the restaurant. Because every time I visit west palm el rucon is definitely my go to place to eat tacos. read more

I was craving birria at 9pm and this was one of the few places that were still open, so I went. The birria special hit the spot! But I do wish the serving sizes were larger. So I really like this place because it's a little different and puts a twist to the whole burritos and tacos scene. I ended up getting the steak burrito just to keep it simple and it was delicious, they even put fries in the wrap which I feel is pretty cool. Saw this on Instagram and thought it looked amazing! We received bad food. We did door dash and they didn't read any of the notes on it. Ordered a taco with the vegan option and they sent a taco with lettuce glued on with cheese and that's it. Ordered the esquite but asked for no hot Cheetos on it and it came smothered in hot Cheetos, and it was just bland corn underneath. Ordered the tacos with Burria soup and it was way too salty, the tacos shells were very dry, and the meat was way too chewy. Will not be ordering here ever. Disappointed because their Instagram looked mouth watering but the food was just plain bad. We ended up tossing it and going to a different restaurant. read more

So this is my second time coming. First time was amazing. Got the birria and soup for 12 bucks. Looked at the menu today and I was shocked to see they r now selling it for 20 bucks. I tipped. I got home and 3 of the tacos were full of fat, couldn't eat them. 30 bucks for 6 tacos and can't eat 3? That's horrible. I won't b returning. I should've made it at home like I planned. read more

Ordered through Uber. The esquite was drowned in mayo, no cheese.. it was the worst I've ever had. Fries had no seasoning just dry and soggy. The beans were burnt like ? I'm shocked and because it was through Uber I can't get my money back for the food quality. read more

So this is my second time ordering from the restaurant but I had eaten from the food truck several times. Amazing how every time! I was craving birria tacos and buying it from El Rucon definitely satisfied me. The woman taking my order is always so sweet and down to earth and my food was given to me quickly. I had birria tacos and my husband had two steak tacos and those were fine in the quickness! I am very disappointed. This food was great but the Berrian taco came with 3 miniature tacos and a whole medium sized cup of birria soup. That's not enough tacos for the soup. And everything was barely seasoned. I thought this would be a decent Mexican place for once. Service is great but they were in a rush for some reason?? But other than that they were really polite it will be a long time before I come here agian. read more

Ive been to the food truck before and decided to try the restaurant out today since the food truck is closed on mondays and the birria soup was so bland! Also the birria meat was very tough to chew and had no flavor! The food looked nothing how it does on instagram! The cocktails were amazing (the one with Desert pear and compari - i dont remember the name - was exceptional). We got the grilled carrots appetizer and clams. Those. Carrots. Perfectly charred, incredibly delish. The clams more than made up for the subpar mussels I had elsewhere the night before, too. My husband got the BBQ pizza and was very happy - both for dinner, and for the next day's lunch. I got the chicken parm, and also had plenty for a large lunch the next day. (and the green beans that came with were also JUST the way i like them - not overcooked, garlicy, and delish). Zero complaints. We won't be able to navigate a second visit this trip, but would 100% put it on our to-dos the next time.

She was extremely rude, short, and came across as genuinely annoyed that we were even there. When I asked for a table, she rolled her eyes and gave such an attitude that I actually asked if she'd prefer we just sit at the bar. It truly felt like we were an inconvenience. What made it even more confusing is that there were other tables occupied and other guests already there, so it's not like we were the only people in the restaurant or preventing them from closing or anything like that. That said, once we were seated, our server completely turned the experience around. They were amazing, went above and beyond, and took great care of us- to the point where I almost forgot about the initial encounter. I understand everyone can have a bad day, but it was hard to ignore how unprofessional the host's behavior was, especially since she spent much of the rest of her shift on FaceTime with someone. Overall, the service from our server saved the night, but the front-of-house experience definitely needs improvement.

Never been to a buffalo wild wings. I was very promptly seated. The food was brought out really fast, the server has been refilling my drinks often. Her name is stephanie. She is amazing. Very friendly. Very intelligent. And it's good that she doesn't mind having a conversation. I quite enjoyed the ambience. It was really cool that there were TVs pretty much on all corners. So if you didn't want to look at your phone you had something to watch on the screen. I ordered the potato trio which comes with potato wedges, french fries and tater tots. All three were great. I also got the nachos with queso and I got the onion rings. The queso was amazing. The onion rings and sauce were outstanding. I can't recommend this location enough. Don't listen to the negative nancies. There are some people out there who go to places looking to have a bad time so they can write a negative review. But again if you come here request Miss stephanie.

My wife and I have seen this place through TikTok, and the videos piqued our interest. We have ordered 8 honey garlic wings, fish and chips, and mozzarella sticks. As for the taste quality, I am not too pleased with it because the flavor of the chicken didn't taste like honey garlic but just greasy chicken with garlic slices on it. The flounder and tartar sauce tasted amazing! I could eat that all the time and not be tired with it. The sauce that came with the mozzarella was not pleasing to my wife and I. It had a very weird aftertaste that didn't sit well with us. So I'm glad to have the opportunity to try it but I don't think I would come back to try others.
