Food is decent. Service is great. We had a great waitress. The live band was great. Downside they don't have a dance floor which I thought they would move some tables at some point.

I loved the clean atmosphere of the place it's a fancy artistic restaurant. A good employee with manners came to our table to help serve us our order. She came in fast with the food. The food was satisfying melting in my mouth with flavor. They have Bilingual services of Spanish and English. I recommend bringing your families here for top service and show to put on.

I was a fan, but when quantity doesn't meet quality and you still charge the same, you fail the assignment. How hard is it to give the best Caldo de Cameron aka Mexican Shrimp Soup. You owe me $7.50 worth of soup or a refund. That was a grand disappointment.

Can you really call this nachos????

I have been here several times and the food is mostly horrible. I got nachos andthere was ZERO cheese it was a plate of chips and they brought over salted pico and over salted guacamole in side dishes. Also upon entering the place always smells like it has a sewer problem (that's a nice way to put it). The AC is not on or doing the job, service is slow and doesn't understand much. There is no reason to come here unless you are here to meet someone or for the salsa group meeting. Also they try to bride you with a shot of tequila for a good review which is totally illegal and unethical so you cant believe any good reviews.

The hostess who…read moretook the reservation was so positive and helpful and customer service oriented, it was so refreshing! We arrived at 2pm and they didn't have the server staff going to full power, but we so enjoyed the art deco environment, food, drinks and staff service overall. Just had to wait a bit here and there for a server to return when we were ready for more drink orders from the bar. All bartenders and servers were very skilled and customer service oriented, Even Coast probably needed one server more or something as it got full by 3 as the hostess had told me. Love the art deco mermaid pins the female staff wore, plus other unique thought out accoutrements. We like to share plates and loved everything we had! The oysters, burrata, smoked clam chowder, yellowtail curd, smoked salmon dip with homemade potato chips, and the fried cod, frites and Cole slaw. Some of us had cocktails- all great, then we all switched to wine, then finished with espresso martini and amazing dessert. Everything was expertly hand crafted (cocktails), and the food expertly prepared so our high praise and compliments to the Chef, Sous, Cooks, Servers, Hostess and Restaurant Manager, who did stop by and check on us. Thanks for a great experience! We'll return!

Friend recommended we try this place over going to Kenny's....it didn't even compare. The food was…read moreexcellent. There's just a thoughtfulness at Kenny's you just don't find here. I got a lemon dropped....it came with a huge piece of cotton candy (aka "citrus candy floss") on top that the waiter didn't bother to tell me I need to push down into the glass. He did warn me it was going to be an extremely sweet drink....and it was. I then thought I'd try a white cosmo. Good drink, but they use a craft ice cube with a flower in it....and then put it in a shallow glass. So at some point, the ice cube was just resting on my nose so I could drink. How has no one noticed this flaw? He preferred the smoke signal over the long watch. He said the long watch had a flavor he just didn't particularly enjoy. Shared some appetizers: cheeseburger was pretty good. He really liked the oysters...and that they serve the mignonette on the side. And he really, really enjoyed the mignonette. I don't enjoy salmon, but thought we'd try the dip. It didn't turn me into a salmon lover, but he thought it was pretty good. I got the bucatini and it was delicious. Great chunks of crab. I was pretty full so took most of it home....it did not reheat as well as I would've like. But, it's a cream sauce, so that's expected. He got the tagliatelle. He also enjoyed it, but probably wouldn't get it again. He just wasn't blown away. Just a lot of little things that would make me drive down the road rather than come back.

Our waiter ( guy with braids) was extremely helpful, friendly, and informative. ) I wanted a kir royale ( they couldn't make because they didn't have chambord). However, he and manager came to the table to offer options. I tried a French 76. We ordered calamari which was light, crisp, and fresh. It was delicious and prepared perfectly. I ordered the stuffed flounder ( substituted red fish for flounder) with the Ponchatrain sauce ( shrimp and crabmeat in creamy sauce) which was delicious. I kept the potatoes with peppers ( prepared beautifully ) however, I will try another potato dish that I don't think will compete or overpower the fish. The fish was hot, flaky, light and delicious. They also serve a dish of garlicky, buttery dish of bread and hush puppies as an appetizer.Loved the bread dish. The service, food, ambience are well worth the drive. I can't wait to go back to try other dishes that they offer. We were too full to order dessert. Maybe I'll get one on my next visit.

I never like when places do that to crawfish because it doesn't actually add any flavor. Other complaint was didn't like how the sausage was cut just seemed weird. There were people celebrating birthdays, couples enjoying date nights, and others watching the games, so it had a really fun and welcoming atmosphere. Our server was so kind. I could tell she was tired, but she was still absolutely wonderful and took great care of us. The restaurant manager was also very welcoming, checked on us several times, and genuinely wanted to make sure we were enjoying our visit. We were SO indecisive when it came to choosing our meals . We started with drinks, which were really good, and I loved the cool, puffy bread they bring to the table! My husband and I ordered the crab cake and tenderloin appetizers. The crab cake was okay, but it wasn't super flavorful to me. The tenderloin appetizer, though, was AMAZING! We also had dessert, and between the bread, drinks, appetizers, and dessert, we were completely full and never even made it to an entrée. Overall, this was such a cool restaurant and a great experience. They also have outdoor seating, which was a nice option. I'd definitely recommend checking it out if you're in Dallas!

Won't be returning because management let a self-proclaimed "influencer" run the bar…read more I have enjoyed Kenny's several times until this visit. I sat at the bar for a quiet late lunch and instead got sucked into an unwanted social media zoo: a customer started loud live-streaming: singing, cackling, cursing, and filming other patrons -- myself included -- without consent. Within minutes, everyone on that side of the bar had cleared out. The other side stayed full, so this was entirely avoidable. I asked the manager to intervene. He refused and offered a gift card instead. I don't want a gift card. I want a restaurant that protects loyal customers already paying to be there. I paid for my appetizer and left before ordering lunch. I've likely sat near influencers filming many times before and never noticed, because they weren't disrupting anyone. This was much different, and management chose the disruption over its own customers. If you value a pleasant environment, a peaceful meal or your own privacy, know that Kenny's won't back you up over someone obnoxiously chasing views.

The lobster tail was a bit tough and overcooked, which is a waste. Mussels were good too. Garlic noodles were not our favorite. Corn and potatoes are good, but they're a bit stingy about it only giving you one of each. When your seafood boil is $70+, you should get more than one of each. Unfortunately, the service was questionable. Our server had difficulty communicating in English, which led to a costly misunderstanding. When we ordered crab, she never asked what type of crab we wanted and instead assumed king crab, which is significantly more expensive than other options. As a result, our bill was much higher than expected. To make matters worse, a 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill without it being mentioned to us beforehand. While restaurants may choose to add gratuity in certain situations, customers should be clearly informed so there are no surprises. My advice: enjoy the food, but be very specific when ordering. Confirm exactly what type of crab you're getting, verify the pricing, and check your bill carefully. Also remember that gratuity should be clearly communicated and not assumed. Better communication would have made this a much better overall experience.I'd rate it 2.5 out of 5 stars. Great food, but the service and communication issues took away from the experience.
