The bar was packed with people coming in for happy hour, and there was already a wait for seats, so I'd definitely recommend getting there early. The oysters, burrata, smoked clam chowder, yellowtail curd, smoked salmon dip with homemade potato chips, and the fried cod, frites and Cole slaw. How has no one noticed this flaw? He preferred the smoke signal over the long watch. He said the long watch had a flavor he just didn't particularly enjoy. Shared some appetizers: cheeseburger was pretty good. He really liked the oysters...and that they serve the mignonette on the side. And he really, really enjoyed the mignonette. I don't enjoy salmon, but thought we'd try the dip. It didn't turn me into a salmon lover, but he thought it was pretty good. I got the bucatini and it was delicious. Great chunks of crab. I was pretty full so took most of it home....it did not reheat as well as I would've like. But, it's a cream sauce, so that's expected. He got the tagliatelle. He also enjoyed it, but probably wouldn't get it again. He just wasn't blown away. Just a lot of little things that would make me drive down the road rather than come back.

This was just my first stuffed flounder. It was so good even the leftover that followed me home reheated to make an Excellent meal the next day. I very seldom save and reheat fish but this was so good even reheated. Anaya's has been my go to for seafood for a couple of years, I think they are now even better. Just one customers opion so if you have not tried Anaya's maybe you should and then make up your own mind. He refused and offered a gift card instead. I don't want a gift card. I want a restaurant that protects loyal customers already paying to be there. I paid for my appetizer and left before ordering lunch. I've likely sat near influencers filming many times before and never noticed, because they weren't disrupting anyone. This was much different, and management chose the disruption over its own customers. While restaurants may choose to add gratuity in certain situations, customers should be clearly informed so there are no surprises. My advice: enjoy the food, but be very specific when ordering. Confirm exactly what type of crab you're getting, verify the pricing, and check your bill carefully. Also remember that gratuity should be clearly communicated and not assumed.
