    short rib stuffed ravioli
    Jesmin N.

Probably one of the best ravioli dishes I have had. I don't usually order ravioli dishes because it comes with a few pieces of ravioli and I don't end up full or satisfied. This portion size was generous, and stuffed to the brim with tender, flavorful short rib meat. The ravioli was cooked perfectly and the sauce was just perfection with mushrooms and sundried tomatoes (I think). Service was quick, food was delicious. It's a family owned business and there weren't too many people when I had gone on a Saturday. Maybe because it was at an odd time between lunch and dinner. I definitely do recommend to check out this place if you're a pasta lover.

Polite staff, and yummy food. I ordered the lasagna. It came out piping hot. If you like yours super cheesy this is not for you.

Old-school red sauce Italian places are becoming as rare as finding a parking spot downtown, but this place? This place is a gem. Sadly, it was almost empty for lunch on a Thursday (what gives, people?!). I had scoped out the menu while driving by one day and spotted something that immediately caught my East Coast heart: a veal parm sub. Or as we call it back home, a "grinder." Now, I haven't seen a veal parm sub on a menu in 15 years, so naturally, I bookmarked it for lunch the following week like it was a national holiday. We walked in around 12:45, and there was only one other table occupied--perfect for people who enjoy elbow room with their marinara. We were seated right away and ordered the Caesar salad and, of course, the veal parm sub to split. Our waitress/hostess (multi-talented!) brought over warm bread and butter, which I tried so hard to resist, knowing what was coming next. The Caesar salad? It had that perfect homemade dressing with a nice anchovy kick, and the lettuce was crisp enough to hold its own. For $9, it was a huge portion, and honestly, if you threw some chicken on there, it'd make a great lunch all on its own. BUT let me tell you about that veal parm sandwich--it took me right back to my childhood outside of Boston. The veal was crispy, slightly chewy, and the mozzarella? It was practically cascading out of the soft roll in glorious cheese waterfalls. I'm telling you, it'll be hard to order anything else after that sandwich. Although, the Italian beef and eggplant grinders are also calling my name. This place isn't fancy, and that's exactly what makes it so special. I bet their nightly pasta dishes are top-notch too. So do yourself a favor--grab a grinder, forget your fancy pretensions, and just enjoy the old-school goodness.

I don't recommend Joe's if you're going to take your kids- is NOT kids-friendly! Saturday evening around 5:30pm we went to eat we were 3 adults and 2 kiddos (age 7 and 8) they were laughing and the owner was upset. Obviously as mom we tried to explain them to keep it low. After eating maybe 40 minutes they turn our lights off so we understood it was time to ask for the check.

Nice family owned place. Most dinners under $20, and portions were generous. Would definitely go back. Try the mini cannoli's!

I've been here multiple times, and every single visit has been consistently GOOD. The customer service? Always 10/10--friendly, attentive, and just an overall great vibe. Let's talk about the food: the pizza is amazing, especially the crust. It's one of those places where you can tell they actually care about quality. This was my first time trying the rotisserie chicken meal, and I'm so glad I did--so flavorful and cooked perfectly. And the espresso martini? Whew. Don't skip it. But I HAVE to shout out Ryan--he is absolutely amazing. His customer service is out of this world. He checks in at the perfect times, makes great recommendations, and you can tell he genuinely cares about your experience. Truly appreciate him! Hands down Two Guys makes the best pizza in town! They make…read moretheir dough from scratch and it's delicious. Our standard order is a large three topping with pepperoni, real Italian sausage and onions. You've got to try onions as that touch of sweet helps with all the savory flavors. We always include a side salad with their homemade blue cheese dressing for a small charge $2.55! You've can also purchase their homemade salad dressings by the pint or quart. The pizza takes a minute to get made so the salad calms our appetite. I swear it's cheaper to get a glass of their house wine than to get a glass of tea so don't hesitate to order. This place is a definite bargain on many items. Now the pizza is just spectacular. The Italian sausage is the real thing that has been sliced from the links not the sausage "turds" you get with fast food pizza. The crust is perfectly yeasty and the thickness on the medium side. They also serve on a rack at the table to keep the crust fresh. Since we order a large it is a knife and fork pizza with the heavy cheese and toppings. Another favorite dish is their lasagna. I've lost count how many times I've ordered at the restaurant and to go. It comes with a choice of salad or minestrone soup. The soup is homemade and simply the best warming dish - a hug in a bowl loaded with veggies. Service is always friendly. The murals of Italian scenes and the wine bottles hanging from the ceiling add a fun touch. Just don't forget to try the pizza and you won't have regrets. One of the owners told me he has been eating that pizza twice a week for almost 50 years!

It's really hard to mess up two New York style crust pepperoni pizza except when they DO mess it up, which is about a third of the time. I'm starting to believe that the people in their kitchen either can't read or refuse to read their order printouts, which are perfectly clear and in my experience perfectly legible. If you love pizza, as we do in my family, CRUST MATTERS. Hand tossed and New York style from Zio Al's is NOT interchangeable. Their New York style pizza and crust style are PERFECT. "What's a little extra crust with the hand tossed?" you ask. "No big deal on the mixup, really," you might say. But IT IS! When you literally order the same thing more than twice a month and they screw it up a third of the time, that is a problem. It isn't complicated. READ the order printout. The reason I keep going back to Zio Al's is that the pizza really is FANTASTIC when they can be bothered to get your order right. The order slip is perfectly legible. NY style.

For entree I picked the copping antonio (seafood in spicy tomato sauce). It was another marvelous dish, filled with lots of fish, shrimp, mussels, clamps, mixed it a delicious sauce, that had some kick but wasn't too spicy either. The toasted best was the perfect side to sip in the sauce with the seafood. Loved it. We also got some desserts that were equally top quality. The service wonderful throughout the dinner.
