Old-school red sauce Italian places are becoming as rare as finding a parking spot downtown, but this place? This place is a gem. Sadly, it was almost empty for lunch on a Thursday (what gives, people?!). I had scoped out the menu while driving by one day and spotted something that immediately caught my East Coast heart: a veal parm sub. Or as we call it back home, a "grinder." Now, I haven't seen a veal parm sub on a menu in 15 years, so naturally, I bookmarked it for lunch the following week like it was a national holiday. We walked in around 12:45, and there was only one other table occupied--perfect for people who enjoy elbow room with their marinara. We were seated right away and ordered the Caesar salad and, of course, the veal parm sub to split. Our waitress/hostess (multi-talented!) brought over warm bread and butter, which I tried so hard to resist, knowing what was coming next. The Caesar salad? It had that perfect homemade dressing with a nice anchovy kick, and the lettuce was crisp enough to hold its own. For $9, it was a huge portion, and honestly, if you threw some chicken on there, it'd make a great lunch all on its own. BUT let me tell you about that veal parm sandwich--it took me right back to my childhood outside of Boston. The veal was crispy, slightly chewy, and the mozzarella? It was practically cascading out of the soft roll in glorious cheese waterfalls. I'm telling you, it'll be hard to order anything else after that sandwich. Although, the Italian beef and eggplant grinders are also calling my name. This place isn't fancy, and that's exactly what makes it so special. I bet their nightly pasta dishes are top-notch too. So do yourself a favor--grab a grinder, forget your fancy pretensions, and just enjoy the old-school goodness.

I don't recommend Joe's if you're going to take your kids- is NOT kids-friendly! Saturday evening around 5:30pm we went to eat we were 3 adults and 2 kiddos (age 7 and 8) they were laughing and the owner was upset. Obviously as mom we tried to explain them to keep it low. After eating maybe 40 minutes they turn our lights off so we understood it was time to ask for the check.

I had an amazing experience here. I felt like I was eating at home. We had a wonderful woman serving our larger ground and I have nothing but praises. I ordered the chicken Parmesan and it was everything I could've wanted. This place definitely deserves more business than it gets.

Nice family owned place. Most dinners under $20, and portions were generous. Would definitely go back. Try the mini cannoli's!

Hands down Two Guys makes the best pizza in town! They make…read moretheir dough from scratch and it's delicious. Our standard order is a large three topping with pepperoni, real Italian sausage and onions. You've got to try onions as that touch of sweet helps with all the savory flavors. We always include a side salad with their homemade blue cheese dressing for a small charge $2.55! You've can also purchase their homemade salad dressings by the pint or quart. The pizza takes a minute to get made so the salad calms our appetite. I swear it's cheaper to get a glass of their house wine than to get a glass of tea so don't hesitate to order. This place is a definite bargain on many items. Now the pizza is just spectacular. The Italian sausage is the real thing that has been sliced from the links not the sausage "turds" you get with fast food pizza. The crust is perfectly yeasty and the thickness on the medium side. They also serve on a rack at the table to keep the crust fresh. Since we order a large it is a knife and fork pizza with the heavy cheese and toppings. Another favorite dish is their lasagna. I've lost count how many times I've ordered at the restaurant and to go. It comes with a choice of salad or minestrone soup. The soup is homemade and simply the best warming dish - a hug in a bowl loaded with veggies. Service is always friendly. The murals of Italian scenes and the wine bottles hanging from the ceiling add a fun touch. Just don't forget to try the pizza and you won't have regrets. One of the owners told me he has been eating that pizza twice a week for almost 50 years!

What a gem of a find for a Sunday date night. We'd been running around all weekend and wanted to…read moretake dinner at a bit of a slower pace and our server was more than happy to let us chill and did not rush us. We started with the meatballs and a salad each (Caesar and Arugula) Salads were fresh and the waiter said they used all organic produce. The red sauce on the meatballs was absolutely perfect. We actually requested a side of it for the focaccia, which was the only thing we got that we didn't love. Mains were good size, price & quality wise. Even though we didn't need it, we both got dessert. The tiramisu was exactly what my BF wanted it to be. I had a banana cream pie thing that was also super good. They're also recognized for their wine list and we had 2 bottles we were really happy with. Overall a great experience! Wish we lived here to become regulars here.

The menu had lots of good appetizers, pasta, meat, chicken and seafood dishes. Of course there was great collection of wines as well. For appetizers, we got the lobster tails, calamari, mozzarella caprese and focaccia. The lobster tail was incredible, tasted so good with the butter sauce. Rest of the dishes were also amazing. For entree I picked the copping antonio (seafood in spicy tomato sauce). It was another marvelous dish, filled with lots of fish, shrimp, mussels, clamps, mixed it a delicious sauce, that had some kick but wasn't too spicy either. The toasted best was the perfect side to sip in the sauce with the seafood. Loved it. We also got some desserts that were equally top quality. The service wonderful throughout the dinner. They assisted with pouring wine, filling up water, and constantly cleaning out the empty plates and dishes. The dishes came out in short intervals. Overall it was an exceptional dinner experience. Everyone walked with with a fully tummy and a happy heart :)
