I've only been here once but I feel like it's a family-run shop with abuela taking the order at times, bussing the tables, and sobrino and tío making the food. Tried the chicken tostada it was ok chicken taste very low quality and no flavor. Their sauces aren't flavorful. Next I tried the albondigas it was horrible, the meatballs were hard and dark low quality meat. Their salsa aren't good, broth was terrible and so was the rice I ate the zucchini and most of the broth my flour tortillas was probably the best. Service is amazing though. read more

I had high hopes for this place although I didn't do any research prior to my visit, it's close to my job so I thought I'd give it a try! I ordered a bean & cheese burrito for my first visit (it's just what I do, it's a safe thing to order because beans are a staple at a Mexican restaurant) the burrito was awful, the cheese never melted, the beans weren't hot, the tortilla didn't have any warmth to it, it was a very sad lunch. The chips were okay, the salsa verde was tasty, wish I had some hot food to pour it on, I was surprised I ate my lunch without sending it back, it was hard to eat. There are a lot of taco joints in the area, but this one is pretty solid. Come on Tuesdays for their $1 taco specials. I got 4 tacos - 2 carne asada and 2 al pastor - for $4!! Not bad at all. The tacos are a decent size, not tiny little things like some places give you for taco Tuesday. The meat is also well marinated and tender. I like the flavor of their al pastor, and the carne asada had a hint of lime. They have a lot of other items that I'll have to try some other time, but it's hard not to pass up the taco Tuesday specials!
