It's their smaller burrito, but it was pretty big! It was delicious and not greasy. The carne asada could be juicier, but it was still good. You can get sauces/lemon/radish/etc. by yourself on the side. The green salsa wasn't too spicy and the mild red salsa was good too. Did a phone order and it was ready right when I got there which was only a couple minutes. There are a few seats and tables instead. It's more of a homey vibe. What a gem- best Taco Tuesday deals in town! Right now, they offer tacos for under $2! They also have a salsa bar for you add all the fixins: onions, cilantro, radish, lemon, pickled carrots and jalapeños, chunky mild salsa, salsa verde and roja. They keep the salsa bar station so clean- literally wipes down the station every time someone uses it. I've only been here once but I feel like it's a family-run shop with abuela taking the order at times, bussing the tables, and sobrino and tío making the food. I placed a takeout order: 3 asada tacos, 3 al pastor, asada burrito, pollo nachos grande. I'm an asada gal but here, I really enjoyed their chicken. Came at about 1 pm on taco Tuesday! Got 2 asada and 1 pastor tacos for a good deal. The line and wait was super short. The restaurant wasn't packed either. Tried the chicken tostada it was ok chicken taste very low quality and no flavor. Their sauces aren't flavorful. Next I tried the albondigas it was horrible, the meatballs were hard and dark low quality meat. Their salsa aren't good, broth was terrible and so was the rice I ate the zucchini and most of the broth my flour tortillas was probably the best. Service is amazing though. read more

It just tastes like something my mom would make at home. I order the ham and egg burrito. The star of the show is the potatoes. Beautifully seasoned, thank goodness!! (PS, Why do so many other restaurants refuse to season their potatoes? Ew) The beans are also perfectly savory, soft texture. Next, the ham is thick sliced with great flavor. I had high hopes for this place although I didn't do any research prior to my visit, it's close to my job so I thought I'd give it a try! I ordered a bean & cheese burrito for my first visit (it's just what I do, it's a safe thing to order because beans are a staple at a Mexican restaurant) the burrito was awful, the cheese never melted, the beans weren't hot, the tortilla didn't have any warmth to it, it was a very sad lunch. The chips were okay, the salsa verde was tasty, wish I had some hot food to pour it on, I was surprised I ate my lunch without sending it back, it was hard to eat. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, the service was really nice- you can tell it's family owned and operated, the restaurant itself was pretty tidy, they bring your food to the table. Located in a strip mall, this restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside. I couldn't even tell what it looked like inside until I stepped in. They offer a list of specials and have them posted right next to the register. They have table service and plenty of seating. Booths line both sides, with tables down the center. They have a salsa/condiment booth near the front of the restaurant. Great tasting, spicy salsa. I had the al pastor soft taco special that came with a medium soft drink, and cost less than $7. They also serve tortilla chips. Great tasting food at a great price! I will definitely be back. It's way better than Mexican fast food. Employees are nice, too. It appears they use frozen french fries which were not completely cooked and also served with beans which had a hint of a taste of pine-sol and no rice. The cashier was nice but the other 2 ladies continued to ignore patrons and kept on drying silverware. We will never patronize Taco Loco again as this was our second time of being served unfavorable food especially on Taco Tuesday when they didn't even offer Cilantro and onion. The tacos are a decent size, not tiny little things like some places give you for taco Tuesday. The meat is also well marinated and tender. I like the flavor of their al pastor, and the carne asada had a hint of lime. They have a lot of other items that I'll have to try some other time, but it's hard not to pass up the taco Tuesday specials! Prior to the pandemic, my girlfriend and I would frequent this restaurant weekly. I would get my usual, daily breakfast with coffee. She would get her taquitos and Michelada.
