I ordered 2 Al pastor burritos and received 2 carne asada burritos. After getting home I realized after taking a bite that it was wrong. I called to let her know that the order was wrong and she wanted me to bring the order back. I had a long day at work, didn't feel like driving back. Maybe ask her to repeat the order, I don't know. Still one of the best little mom and pop Mexican food holes-in-the-wall in Corona. They deserve an update. They have been here forever, and we have been loyal to their cause. Well, almost loyal. We do have three other places in town that make some pretty mean Mexican food, too. May I suggest you ignore the lack of ambiance and limited seating, and do a to-go order, because you can find value and authentic taste here. Such good food. And very little wait. I am a creature of habit. Been coming here for the carne asada forever. For some unknown reason I ordered the desebrada combo burrito this time around. Boy, do I wish I had done this a long time before. It is juicy and more like a stew flavor, but so flavorful, the carne asada has actually slipped into second place at this moment. Mr. B is a big lengua fan here. You can find cabasa, buche, chorizo, lengua, desebrada, asada, carnitas, pastor, and chicken. Plenty of choices. And their burritos are grande sized. No starving here. The beans have always been one of our favorites. I can count on them when I decide to cook a dinner that requires refried beans. Homemade, down to earth flavors, and they are not as expensive as others nearby. I should be ashamed, but I suspect I like them because they fry in lard. The worst? The limited, skinny parking spots, and some of the customers are pretty ghetto looking. But, if you think about it, they are the ones keeping this place going, and you better be thankful. Delicious sauce on the cheese enchiladas with crema! Carne asada tacos are full of meat with two tortillas! Very tasty tacos! The taco dorado/crispy taco with shredded beef was pretty good, would have like the shredded beef a lil juicier but still very good! The toppings on the crispy taco was super delish! I needed Al Pastor in my life ASAP and Yelped the closest place. El Taco Lucas came up with excellent ratings and was close so we came to give it a try. Scuzzy area, older place a bit run down but clean. Service was great, fast and friendly, good menu. We had two Al Pastor burritos, as well as a quesadilla for him and a fish taco for me. The fish was a bit generic, would skip that next time. Quesadilla was good, huge, can't really go wrong with that. Burritos were great, the best thing we got, hit the spot, filled me up and was cheap. They have a small salsa bar as well, always a plus. This is my absolute most favorite spot in the inland empire to get a delicious authentic burrito, tacos or a quesadilla with meat. Their adobada meat is so delicious I wish I could have it in my home at all times. The salsas are super good, just as good as moms! I've driven by this place many times and finally got a chance to stop by. Pretty small inside but that's typical for taco spots. I went with a standard carne asada burrito along with some of their salsa. The burrito was a hefty size and the carne was moist and seasoned well and packed with flavor. You can ask for pickled carrots and radishes and a jalapeño which always makes everything taste better. The salsa was a little on the calm side but I like my stuff extra hot. the food is about average, very family style (the rice is like what my landlord's wife used to make, which I am not very fond of), I guess that's why it does not impress me too much. What I like is they open from 9am-11pm which is a plus for late night dinner. They got "A" in cleanness and order was taken by one single line. (everything is pretty much in order).
