    Tacos rice and beans

So, my wife and I have driven by this place numerous times and finally stopped in for taco Tuesday this evening. Great ambiance complimentary chips and salsa came out right away and were hot and delicious. Our waitress took our order and brought our drinks out fast. It was not much longer before 6 gourmet tacos and a very large portion of rice and beans were at our table. The tacos couldn't have been better and the refried beans were some of the best we have had. Our only regret is that we had not tried this spot sooner. Definitely going to be regulars here.

We had to support El Valle on cinco de Mayo week during covid. We ordered a variety of items for a family of 6. When we pulled up our order was brought curbside. The staff was friendly and our orders were accurate and labeled! We made a couple of substitutions so this was an added bonus. We got a couple of combinations, fajitas, a steak and chicken dish. It was good standard Mexican food. We even got the chips and salsa. Everyone enjoyed their food!

Came here for a lunch during the work week. They were semi busy but we were sat quickly. Our drink orders, chips and salsa came out swiftly. The salsa was a bit on the spicy side All of us really enjoyed our food and the service was pretty quick. We will come back to try more of their lunch specials!

Hard to review this one since the food isn't bad. Its good but to be honest for what you get and the quality. The price doesn't match it. So expect to get something that taste good but for the amount and all, not worth the price.

Really liked the El Valle in Matthews so when I saw that they had opened a Mint Hill location, I was anxious to try it. Nothing negative about the interior decor but the ambient temperature was too hot. Waiter took our drink order, I asked what the WiFi password was and he didn't know. They do have 4 Mexican beers on draft but don't offer a 32 oz. and the 22oz. was overpriced. Chips were okay. Salsa was generic. Asked for a spicier salsa and a cheese dip. Both came later than expected. Choripollo was surprisingly bland and the mocohete as well. Mexican food should not be bland. Worst of all was the flies. Gotta get rid of the flies.

I really enjoyed the food at El Valle! It's your typical Mexican Restaurant in terms of menu items - love having combo options, and the prices are all very reasonable. Check out the lunch menu for very cheap options as well! The guacamole was some of the best I've ever had, it took a little bit to come out - but it was so fresh you could tell the time put into it was to ensure the quality. 10/10 would order this again. There is a full bar with drink specials during the week, the sangria margarita was really tasty.

I wish it was a little more bc we all know slushies slurp down to just ice once flavor goes. Either way, the menu was more vast than we had expected. We thought it was a pure wine bar with maybe charcuterie. But we were thrilled to see otherwise. We also looked at foods that others ordered & we will be back to try that too! The servers were kind. We had multiple servers check on us throughout our time. Very prompt and attentive. That made for a pleasant experience. We sat on the patio. And I survived for the most part, but it is allergy season haha. It is lovely out there and most guests joined on the patio. It is quaint and small.
