This is a very long overdue review that's been in my "review draft" way too long. We were going to the rodeo and arrived super early. We came in to check out the slot machines and the hotel. Full disclosure, we did not stay the night here. It's a beautiful place with many amenities. Hotel, restaurants, casino, shows, spas, and much more!! As far as restaurants go, Ramsey's Kitchen and Gordon Ramsey Fish and Chips if you're a Gordon Ramsey fan! Cafe Central, SIPS Coffee and Tea, Sushi Sake, Panda Express, Starbucks, Brew Brothers, Roxy Restaurant, and much more! Overall, we had a great time! There were so many people coming and going. Employees trying to keep up with the crowds. We will be back for another outing experience!

Status is nice. You have to work for it, but once you get it, it's nice. I have diamond status through Wyndham, and Caesars matches it. With diamond status at Caesars, , you get things such as no resort fee, free, valet, parking, complementary, or low cost upgrades if available, and free parking at properties that charge for parking. (Vegas... Tahoe...). I was in Reno on a Thursday night, and I found a room at the El Dorado for a very reasonable price. Even with the resort fee, it would've been a reasonable price, but it was nice not to have to pay it. I dropped off my car, they picked up my bags for me, held them until I was in my room, and then brought them up to my room for me. I am staying next-door at the Silver Legacy on Friday night, they picked up my bags for me out of my room, held them for me, and will bring them next door when I am in my new room. When I checked in, I asked if an upgrade was available. She said, yes, no charge. I figured I was just going to get a nicer room on a higher floor. Imagine my surprise, when I opened the door, and walked into a spa suite. That was very nice of them. The room was on the 14th floor, and it overlooked... The bowling stadium. Not much to see during the daytime, but at night time, when all the city lights came on, and in the morning when the sun came up it was very pretty. The room was very large. It was an older room, there were a few scuffs and scrapes here and there, but that is just cosmetic. Everything in the room was spotless. The shower is decent sized, , but it doesn't have a bathmat or a grab bar, so you need to be just a little bit more careful. There's a fridge and a Keurig, but not a microwave, the TV gets a great picture, and it also has movies available for rent, including "naughty" movies. If you are not into that, or if you are traveling with kids, you have the option of blocking those. The bed was very comfortable, and I had a good night sleep. The Wi-Fi was OK, fast enough to stream video, but it did cut out a couple of times. Nothing major. The star of that room was definitely that Jacuzzi spa tub. It does take quite a while to fill up, it took well over a half hour to fill up. So if you want to use it, that's something you need to consider. Once it was full, I turned on the jets, and I soaked in that thing for between a half hour to 45 minutes. It was heavenly. I had been on the road for almost a week, and my back was bothering me, and this just did wonders for it. Even if you have to pay for this suite, it is definitely worth the splurge. It's a great property. The El Dorado, the silver legacy, and Circus Circus are all Caesars properties, and they are all connected. So you can walk between the properties without ever stepping outside. Lots of shopping, gaming, entertainment, bars with different themes, and lots of different places to eat, ranging from Ruth's Chris on the high-end, to the Circus Circus food court on the lower end. ("the habit" burger place in the food court was definitely the lower end... ). The El Dorado used to have an awesome buffet, but it is no longer there. I was going to have dinner at the brew Brothers. Back before I retired from drinking, I remember their "big dog ale." It's a great beer, and they still have it. Unfortunately, my two favorite items on the menu the burnt ends and the meatloaf, are no longer on the menu. So I just went elsewhere for dinner. Overall, a great day. Thanks.

Incredible time! We loved the carnival games connected to circus circus, and saw the cirque Alice show! We were blown away, our favorites were the ringmaster mad hatter Ben (so funny and such good magic) and the bowling ball balancing guy! All in all an incredible show and an incredible time!

A group of friends went to see Cirque Alice. It was an amazing show for all ages. It was captivating and fun. I was impressed with the size of the theatre.. I'd suggest this show for families looking for a bit of excitement. The acrobatics and aerial display kept you on the edge of your seat.

2 of 2 Yelp review pages. I knew I did a review on this brand! It was on 3/21/24. Looks like there is more than one Yelp page?!?! Anyways... Quality/Quantity - I was (am) a Caesar customer like since forever. This was actually one of the first brands that I joined the loyalty member program. And till this day, I am still a member. But I have not been very active for years. Well locally, I frequent GSR; see other reviews. Today we came for the Biggest Little Latin Festival; see other reviews. It was just okay; I wanted and expected more. And of course, NO happy hour at Brew Brothers on a Friday; another let down... Might explain why they did not have many customers today, even with an event happening. Ambiance - Still a nice casino. I really appreciate and like that you connected the 3 casinos without us having to go outside. Nice to have this event indoors as it is weather proof. Not sure if this helped or hurt your event...? Oh, your advertising could have done a better job explaining exactly where the event was being held. 815 rooms. The casino can use some updating. Too many businesses/restaurants were closed, so limited dining. More of a weekend night life scene...? Service - Self service today. Price - N/A. Well, my wife did support the vendors at the event. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1973. And since 2020, Caesars Entertainment, with your 5 brands. Eldorado, congrats on your success since 1973. Caesars, congrats on your success since 1966. 1995 - Renovated and added the Silver Legacy bridge access. I see that Caesars Entertainment Reno brought you in 2020. Or was it the other way around...?

This show was amazing! The mad hatter was absolutely brilliant. He also orchestrated my proposal with my fiancé and I'm still in tears. The performers were extremely talented! Please go!

July was a rough month for me. My mom's health started declining rapidly and unexpectedly. That was the beginning of the month, my birthday is towards the end of the month. My nephew volunteered to take care of my mom so I could celebrate by birthday. since I was going to a Reno Aces game, I decided to staycation downtown. All the Caesars hotels had great options but I decided on the Petite King Spa Suite at El Dorado. Check in was so easy. I was able to do it early, for a small fee, and at a kiosk (after receiving an email telling me how to do it). Check out is also easy, with kiosk and key return. I loved the room! Spacious, great temperature, nice private view, and just plain comfortable! SO relaxing! In fact, I plan to return in December for an overnight staycation! Location is key. We walked to Greater Nevada Field, and then back. We were able to get some drinks from Brew Brothers, and bring to the room.

Show was incredible! The performers are very talented. I sat complete awe the entire show!

It was a smaller theater, which made it more intimate with the crowd. Very family friendly. My daughter was chosen to go on stage to be a part of the magic show act of the Mad Hatter. The Mad Hatter was hilarious and talented at the same time. He really brought the crowd in. The preforming acts were great and the singing was wonderful. We recommend this show!

I should have listened to the reviews! We arrived at 2pm hoping to check in early. They could accommodate us, but there would be a $28 charge for early check in. Really? When we got to our room the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling and there was a big paint warn off mark on the head board. I went to get our room changed. That night the electricity went out so their whole internet, tv system did not work the following day until late in the afternoon. The casino was dead and so dark. I've never been to a place that looked like it was going out of business! Every time you looked they were working on escalators, so you had to take the stairs. Next time I'll just go back to the Peppermill or Atlantis. Caesar Corp should be ashamed!

Bed bugs, two room moves, and absolutely no mitigation plan!!!…read more I have never written a public review before, despite plenty of less than perfect experiences. I worked in the service industry for years and generally believe businesses deserve the opportunity to make things right. The Nugget had that opportunity and chose not to.. During our stay for Hot August Nights, we discovered bed bugs in room 1638. Security responded promptly, confirmed the issue, documented it, and moved us to room 2838. That replacement room had a long standing AC leak, saturated carpet, peeling wallpaper, and visible growth behind the wall covering. Engineering inspected it the next morning and told us we absolutely could not remain there. We were moved again, to room 1242. The frontline employees were kind, responsive, and genuinely helpful. Management was the problem. We repeatedly asked what the hotel could do to prevent us from carrying bed bugs into the next rooms or home with us. There was no laundry service, no heat treatment option, no containment procedure offered, and no written policy or protocol available when requested. We were allowed to move the same luggage and belongings from 1638 to 2838 and then to 1242 with no mitigation whatsoever. If we had picked up hitchhikers in the original room, we could easily have carried them through multiple hotel rooms and eventually home. We are now home and spending our own time laundering and heat treating our belongings because the property offered no assistance with this before our departure. Manager on Duty Cole Hughes was particularly disappointing. After initially avoiding speaking with us directly, he ultimately offered no meaningful assistance and told us, in substance, that once we left the property the problem would be ours. He then directed us back to Security, whose staff had already done far more to help us than management had. We requested management follow up in writing while we were still on property. No response. We requested information about what to do if we brought bed bugs home. No answer. We were told Risk Management would contact us in 7 to 15 business days. Before departure, I ultimately obtained the Risk Management phone number from Security myself. I called after returning home and left a message. This is what bothers me most: the Nugget responded to the rooms, but not to the guests. Moving us was necessary. It was not a complete response to a bed bug exposure. If this is what corporate ownership has turned guest service into, relocate, document, pass the customer to Risk Management, and wait for them to leave, it is incredibly disappointing. I am writing this because future guests should know: if you encounter bed bugs here, based on our experience, do not assume the property has a meaningful procedure in place to help prevent you from carrying them elsewhere or taking them home. Security and Engineering deserve credit. Management absolutely does not.

Standard service, not anything to write home about. This is clearly a hang out spot for people that are already poor and Baldinis makes good and sure they stay that way. You know how you walk in a casino and hear or see lots of people hitting jackpots? Not this place. Just people chain smoking to calm their anxiety of getting robbed once again by the infamous Baldinis. Terrible casino. They will try and hook you with promotions but they are only to get you to show up and feel like you have a chance at winning something but you will indeed win nothing so save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. Of all the Casinos in Reno/Sparks the places that hit the hardest have proven time and again to be Sierra Sid's (right down the street on McCarran) and Peppermill. I've given this place too many chances to redeem themselves but I always walk out of here irritated. They don't even give you small wins on any of the machines to break you in at even or slightly above. Every machine is the same thing: win slightly less than you're betting to chase a dragon that does not exist. Food is notably priced but again that's the only reason I'm giving 2 stars. As a Casino this place is more than deserving of a full Zero Stars.

The price was super affordable, to the point I was skeptical that things would work out. Fortunately, everything was as I hoped for. We arrived at about 10:00 a.m., too early to check in. ** Note, parking is free, which is a very nice touch for downtown casino hotels ** We spent some time at the casino, and then grabbed lunch at one of the restaurants. There are three attached hotels in a row, Circus Circus, Silver Legacy and El Dorado, and the restaurants serve all three hotel visitors. After lunch, we took a walk around downtown Reno - it's got a lot of attractions that I would not have otherwise seen (riverwalk, baseball stadium, the Reno Arch, etc. By then it was just after 1:00 p.m., and I stopped by the front desk to see if any rooms might be available. For a small up charge of $20, I was able to check into a room early. The room was in the Sky Tower, a building that was a little difficult to find, but ultimately we figured out how to get from the room to the casino without having to go outdoors. The bed was very comfortable, the room was a good size, and the bathroom had all the amenities necessary. Overall, this is not one of the fanciest hotels I've ever visited, but it is a nice place to have access to the casino and the local Reno area, it was less than a 10 minute drive back to the airport, the room / bed / pillows for all comfortable, and the price for the room and parking was surely an amazing value.

Upon arrival, our room in the north tower wasn't available. The clerk added a note stating that we could switch towers at no charge. I asked if the north tower was better than the sky tower and she replied: "Oh yeah, much better". We considered staying in the sky tower because it was fine but the coffee maker barely worked. While heading out for the next day's activities, we crossed paths with a bellhop and asked him where the carts were stored, since we couldn't find one the night before and had to haul our heavy luggage from the garage, through the casino and up to our room. The carts were not available for use. He gave us a number to call and said he would personally bring one to us. Awesome. That afternoon, we called him and there was no answer. We called the listed bellhop office and they said they'd be right up. We waited 1 and 1/2 hours, but no one came, so we lugged our stuff to the other tower. Guess what: the room was identical to the previous one. The coffee maker barely worked in the new room, plus the AC unit was very noisy and the shower drain clogged after a minute of water. I think Circus Circus has been leaning on the Midway arcade to attract visitors but have let the rooms run down without renovation and it will cost them a lot of money in the long run. They'd better listen to the clientele before they go out of business.
