I called for an estimate. They came right over. They snaked my drain. Luis said they were not able to clear the pipes. Ok fair enough. Then he said he was gonna call his supervisor for a second opinion or another solution to the problem. Ok so far so good. They scheduled for later the same day at 3pm. 3pm came, they called and rescheduled for the next day at 12 PM. Sure thing sounds good, 12 pm came close, they rescheduled for 3pm. Ok fine, 3pm came. No call. No show. It is now the next day. Still nothing. So unprofessional. Will never use this company again. This is what happens when you pay for cheap labor. I'll be using Rotor Rooter and pay more, but at least the service is A-1. read more

I had a fairly simple problem - clogged kitchen sink. I made a quote request on Yelp. Elite Rooter replied within 15 minutes. There were many replies, but most of them did not include much info. Elite Rooter included an estimated amount and available time windows. The price was extremely competitive. I called their phone, booked the first available appointment. Pablo showed up on time, listened to my description of the problem, explained possible causes, described scenarios of might happen next, answered all my questions. My main sewer line clogs once a year at about street level. I called Elite Rooter, and Balmoris came the next day (as I'd requested). He was extremely courteous, and rooted out the drain from my outside access point. He wanted me to have a camera inspection done first - perhaps a new line would need to be installed. I really wanted to like these guys. They try to be nice, price competitively, and generally show up on time. Nothing personal against the guys. But eventually I got sick of all the mistakes on our sewer lateral replacement. They failed inspection twice. The trenchless caused a bulge in my driveway, more expense and delays. They bugged me for payment multiple times before they passed inspection. Didn't seem to know how the permitting worked in San Mateo and eventually I had to just pay them more to get it done. It took far too long (over a month from start to finish for a sewer lateral replacement). Cannot recommend for a sewer lateral replacement, maybe ok for simple jobs. read more

we had a shower that was not draining so we called for estimate. $11,000.- And the work would take 3 days. beginning on Wed. so it woild be done by weekend. not only did it take 6 days leaving us w/out a shower but when the work was done we noticed the wall was wet at the work site..we called them back and they claim its not their work but another pipe with the problem which they are not responsible for, But the water damage did not occur until theit job was done? for $11m000- I would think they would have fixed anythng going wrong since they were in the wall anyways? I found myself in immediate need of help for a sewer lateral which broke down on my lawn (close to 54 feet of my yard and and driveway were affected.) Elite Rooter came Friday late afternoon and assured me they would arrive the next day, which they did. They told what I could use and not use and came on time Saturday morning. I could write too much but will say that they were polite, clean-cut, smart, prompt and solved my awful problems. I booked a service on 2/23/2022 and gave them a 50% deposit, over $700. When the tech got there, he said they could not perform the service and that I would receive a refund in the mail within 2 weeks. Today is 5/25/2022, and after multiple times calling, I have still not received a refund. In fact, the receptionist hung up on me. I've submitted a compliant with BBB. Hopefully that will prompt Elite Rooter to give me my deposit back for work that was never done. read more

George called in the morning to say that he would be the one coming out and asked for verification of directions. Contacted Elite Rooter this morning and they sent Matthew. It was easy to do over the internet to make my initial inquiries and get a quote. Sadly, their special of $69 did not apply to our situation. We had a clog in the upstairs master bathroom sink the handyman could not clear using his 15' snake. Enter Matthew. The tenant met him at the condo as I could not be there due to distance. Matthew was on time, professional, courteous and very matter of fact in his explanations and information before proceeding. He took care not to soil the newly shampooed carpet and laid out some tarp. Within roughly an hour he finished and reported back everything and had cleared the clog. Sadly, due to the nature of these old pipes he had to warn us it could recur but that cannot be helped. Only ripping out a wall and some pipe would permanently remedy that. We'll cross that bridge when/if it happens. Matt sent the documents and the invoice electronically right away. All I had to do was call the company to pay with a credit card. It was a pleasure dealing with him and Elite Rooter today. Will most certainly use them again. (Now, I have your cell phone Matthew! :-) ) I hope you win that power tool! I'm rooting for you!
