First time visiting an Ellie's Table as my friend and I were looking for a local coffee spot after our lunch. We arrived around 12:30 which was peak lunch time for a lot of the business complexes and they had a line to order food/drinks (which was a great sign it means it must be worth the wait!) I was very excited to order a coffee and dessert and the person helping us grab the coffee cake was super polite. The person taking my order however didn't seem very attentive. I asked for an iced lavender latte. And about 3 seconds later he asked if I wanted it iced or hot. Which I mean happens sometimes so I laughed it off and said iced again and gave him my name for my drink. Then when my drink order came out, it was an iced vanilla latte and not the lavender. I don't usually like to complain and make baristas re make my drinks so I didn't say anything plus they were really busy so I just left but I was disappointed since I was looking forward to the lavender latte. The drink was good but just not what I had wanted. The coffee cake was good though! Moist and seems like it was freshly baked. I'll probably be back next time in hopes that I can try the lavender latte I've been wanting to try! read more

Although some items have been missed in takeout orders, I cannot help but to return to Ellie's Table. Ellie's Table was suggested by my soul-friend, Mz. Ellie's Table is exceptional and I am not biased. "Giggles." The cookies are chewy and chock full of goodness. Whether it is the snickerdoodle, white chocolate chip, chocolate chip, gingersnap sandwich (seasonal) or oatmeal cookie (like a cozy bowl of oatmeal and adornments). The breakfast bowl is the size of a football field and could feed an army. Lattes are bold, rich and nirvana. The tarragon palm sandwich is served warm and warrants its own zip code. Kale salad was surprisingly delightful...perhaps my expectations were kale. The chimichurri Tri Tip churries my chimi. The Boardwalk Burrito is mine and I am not sharing. Shredded jack and cheddar cheese, smashed avocado, black beans, pico de gallo, pickled red onions, sour cream, chipotle aioli, with choice of protein (chicken, soyrizo or steak) is combination extraordinaire. Grab some packets of Cholula and you have a party. Ellie's has validated parking in a structure and is open M-F. read more

This cafe is a little difficult to locate as it is in a business building. The parking has few 20 minute spaces but there is a parking structure available. It's a short walk from the parking lot and its hidden behind all the greenery. When my mom and I walked into the empty cafe, the servers were chatting it up and didn't notice us at all, red flag. Not a good first impression. Since everything looks appealing, we wanted to order a variety. The server who actually noticed us was pleasant to talk to and she helped us graciously. We ordered an egg sandwich, pecan bun, coffee cake, carrot cake, and a pumpkin spice latte. The server who checked us out had a major attitude. So bad that I didn't leave a tip when I paid. This isn't my character, I'm always willing to leave a tip but my experience hasn't been good in the few minutes that we were there. My mom literally walked over her tip to the server who served our food. The latte came out pretty quick and was tastey. The egg sandwich and the pecan bun were also delicious. I didn't care for the coffee cake. The cafe itself is aesthetically beautiful. I wish I was comfortable enough to stay and enjoy our treats. But the parking had me rushing and I wasn't feeling the vibes with the customer service. read more

I wanted to try this Ellie's location after having tried their San Juan Capistrano location as well as their catering services. This place is spectacular and I cannot recommend anything realted to this company enough. Service - Everyone was really friendly and diligent. I had some question regarding their palm sandwiches and their preferences, in which they answered nicely. Environment - the store is located in an office building. It's super spacious, has good lighting, and is not too loud. I loved it! There's a long high table in the middle a couple of smaller tables along the windows on the inside. There are also a lot of outdoor seating as well as plenty shared tables in the massive business courtyard. Food/Drinks - just trying everything! I shared a couple of palm sandwiches with a friend, the breakfast bowl was delicious, and I also got two desserts to go. I didn't regret anything and would come here every week if I could. When you walk in, you're always greeted with a smile and the folks there are happy to provide suggestions or explain their menu. You've got fantastic cookies and other baked sweets on one end. The peanut butter cookie is sweet and savory perfection, and their European Coffee Cake is a fluffy, crumbly dream centered with a dollop of rich cream. And you've got savory foods, which include little palm-sized sandwiches ranging from $3.50-4.50. They are a perfect few bites for a smaller lunch or a hearty snack. My favorite off-menu go-to is their bacon, egg, and cheese (you can also swap the bacon for sausage) palm sandwich. It's under $5, filling, and made fresh. So good! There are heartier options like large sandwiches, mini burritos, salads, and even a whole chilaquiles dish if you're in the mood for more. And of course, they've got an assortment of caffeinated beverages to get you in focus for work or a meeting, including fun seasonal-flavored or specialty lattes like the Churro Latte. Seems like they may validate parking based on others' experience. If you want to visit, you can also park at a nearby plaza (there is one across the street). If you work around the area, even better! The staff at Ellie's are so friendly and willing to go the extra mile. They assisted us with a last minute employee appreciation day event that we called Coffee and Compliments. They provided 40 drinks (made to order so they were different flavors, preparations, and milk choices) and delivered them to our office. They added labels to each one with the employee's name and everything was well packaged so no spills. The hot drinks were hot and the iced ones weren't watered down so they prepped everything perfectly! They delivered by 8:45 which is during their first rush of the day, so I appreciate that everything was so seamless despite them being busy. Thank you Ellie's crew! read more

Found this cute little lunch spot on IG. Was excited to try. Super cute little spot inside of an office building. Parking was easy. If you bring in your parking ticket, they'll give you a parking validation code. I got a turkey palm sandwich, paid extra for lettuce and asked for the sandwich to be warmed up; they warmed up the sandwich with the lettuce inside (one piece of lettuce, which I paid extra for)...the vanilla latte was subpar..the star was the carrot cake. I am addicted to their delicious vanilla lattes and cannot get enough of them! I have had the scones and breakfast burritos before and they are all scrumptious. I highly recommend their palm sandwiches for lunch. They are affordable and hit the spot for a quick and easy lunch. They have a variety of side salads and my favorite is the broccoli bacon salad. I called Ellie's Table to inquire about their catering service through Jays Catering and it was the best decision I made for my daughter's Baby Shower. Samantha was amazingly helpful throughout the whole process and the food was absolute perfection. In January, Ellie's Table came through for me in one hour to cater a meeting for 58 people for one of my attorneys at the Boardwalk. The attendees raved about the food and asked me to order again for this same meeting the next month in February for 61 people. This time I ordered a couple of days before the scheduled meeting, and Samantha McLaughlin assisted me with the order. She was so helpful in making suggestions since the last time was last minute ordering. She even helped me set up the food since it was in the meeting rooms right across the lobby. I love the location and it has such a beautiful view into the landscape. Everything is made fresh from scratch everyday. They offer gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, and healthy options. They are famous for the potato salad and cinnamon rolls, which I didn't try. I had the vegetarian quiche, kouign amann, custard pastry, and lemon bar. The quiche has a lot of potential but was in desperate need of salt and flavor. The kouign amann had none of the components of a true kouign amann, the lemon bar was too eggy, and the custard in the pastry was delicious. Overall, the food is clean but lacks flavor. read more

This location of Ellie's is great! Ever since they re-opened after the pandemic, the food and drinks have been immaculate. The interior decoration is PERFECT for the environment that they're in. The office buildings they are in have a modern office feel to them and this cafe compliments the surroundings perfectly. I have ordered many things here and had many of their pastries/goodies and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend their scones and croissants. I also just had their caramel/marshmallow rice crispy treat and it was amazing. Their burritos have the perfect amount of eggs and their salsa has great flavor without being too spicy. Their quiche flavor and mouth feel is that of a Michelin star restaurant. Their drinks are awesome. Jacob is like a scientist when he makes the drinks. They make the chocolate ganache in house daily and that is what they use in their mochas. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend getting a mocha with condensed milk. IT. IS. TO. DIE. FOR. Their staff are a huge highlight to the overall experience. They are always happy and talkative, good energy! Jacob, Madison, Jordan, Teak, Nate...all of them! They make you feel like family, which is what Ellie would have wanted. I came here on my way out of Newport Beach on a Friday around 10am based on the Yelp reviews! There were maybe 3 others in line and about 10 people dinning in the shop. It surpassed my expectations! I tried the honey lavender latte with oat milk and a torched vanilla bean Kouign Amann (something I've never tried & was recommended by the staff) it was great and they prepared both dishes in less then a minute! Staff is super friendly and the shop has a nice, clean, and quiet atmosphere, I loved the outdoor dinning options in the business park as well, some outdoor TVs as well. This shop is within a business park. There were not a ton of public parking spots and It is a little tougher to find, I didn't see any branding on the store front and you enter through a business building but once you're there, it's well worth the effort it might take to find! read more

The space is light and pretty and the service was friendly. My daughter really wanted a pastry but unfortunately there weren't a lot of options so she opted for one of the macarons. She got the cookies and cream one and declared it yummy. It was one of the pricier items (almost 3$ a pop) but macarons tend to be expensive so that's understandable. We also got a vegan breakfast burrito for me, which was very reasonably priced at $8 but was unfortunately mostly potatoes. My daughter also had a breakfast sandwich. The bread was very small relative to the fillings inside so it fell apart immediately. They have a good variety of light lunch items and pasties. The area is really open and modern. You have a 2 hour parking validation - otherwise it's $2 for every 15 mins. Not worth the drive if you are from South Orange County. They will validate your parking but only for a limited time. Each 15 minutes is $2.00. I wished they would of told us this at the front desk when we asked if they would validate our parking ticket. We were there for 1hr -15minutes and when we checked out of the parking lot they charged us $4.00. Honestly the San Juan Capistrano has more charm and character. People were friendly and food was delicious but definitely not worth the drive. read more

Most on-site lunch counters are warmed up foods with average ingredients in a cafeteria style setting. Ellie's is different. First difference is the service. Uniformed, friendly employees helped me choose my menu items before it was my turn to advance in the line. Then I saw the prices - most routine items like a breakfast burrito are under $10 and their specials (such as the special omelet) of the day are a little more. The ambiance is modern upscale casual. I ordered my burrito but then I saw these "palm sandwiches" which are simultaneously small and large at the same time - and only $3.50. They are a small roll split part way and absolutely stuffed with a single ingredient such as tuna salad, egg salad, shaved ham, shaved turkey, roast beef, etc. They look so good that I had to get one. I chose tuna and it was perfect. Probably a half cup of tuna - seasoned just right with no weird ingredients - barely held by the soft roll. The breakfast burrito was kind of average and reheated unevenly so stick with whatever they make fresh. Outside of Ellie's is a huge courtyard (typical of Irvine's office complexes) of arondack chairs, tables, fireplaces, etc so you have plenty of peaceful places to eat if you don't want to eat inside Ellie's. I don't work here or anywhere near here but I'll be back for lunch for sure. read more

I was looking for an affordable place to go to lunch with my friend and my toddler, and Ellie's Table showed only one $ so it fit the bill! At first glance of the Yelp page I was thinking we might be limited to coffee, pastries, and maybe some sandwiches, but upon arriving we found all that and more! It is tucked away in a swanky corporate plaza, but they were offering complimentary valet parking so we took advantage. The restaurant is very clean and bright, and the team members were all so happy and friendly. They were patient while we perused our options, which included many more EXCELLENT sandwich options than expected, as well as quiches, soups, and salads. I got the Avocado BLT, the Broccoli Bacon Salad, and a mini chocolate croissant for my daughter and I to share, as well as a Lavender Lemonade for her and a Honey Lavender Latte for myself. Everything was absolutely delicious and all that cost about $27, which anywhere else would have been much more. My friend and I agreed that this is our new spot! read more
