They don't serve chips and salsa while you wait for your meal here. And the prices on the menu didn't match the bill. We ordered a michelada, a bit too much tomatoe juice but it was good, a Large Menudo, they ask if you want hominy or pata, we ordered it with hominy but no pata. The hominy tasted bland. You can tell it's not cooked with the menudo, it's probably kept separately which means zero flavor. That was the only bad part about the menudo. The tripe and broth were very good. Lots of flavor. The huevos rancheros with chilaquiles were good. The green sauce for chilaquiles were spicy but good. The red sauce was delish. And the refriegues beans were good too. The pecan & caramel with ice cream pancakes were amazing! Nice place for the family. Pretty big restaurant and lots of items on the menu.

Customer service: 10/10, Food: 10/10. Having frequented this establishment multiple times, I can attest that their culinary offerings are truly exceptional. Elys uniquely blends Mexican cuisine with American diner fare, offering a diverse menu featuring Mexican dishes alongside breakfast staples and specialty drinks. The Spanish rice is notably soft, moist, and flavorful, while the rice and beans are delicious. Every item I've ordered, ranging from traditional Mexican fare to classic American breakfast and shakes, has been consistently delicious. My top three preferred dishes: 1. Eggs with Green sauce 2. Red and Green chilaquiles 3. Ryan's Favorite. The eggs are cooked to perfection. My enthusiasm for this establishment is such that I've brought my entire family, and they were thoroughly satisfied. I highly recommend visiting Elys to experience authentic Mexican food.

This place has a wide variety of options on the menu. I got a Nutella strawberry crepe, which was enjoyable and crispy hashbrowns which were very crispy. Just how I like them. It was great service. I walked in and placed the order and it didn't take long. Seems like a very family, friendly ambience to grab a meal.

I saved this place on Instagram years ago and finally got the chance to try it while visiting Vegas. I know Ely's has multiple locations, but this one had the best reviews--so we went for it. I ordered the menudo and my friend got the waffle combo. We got our food to go, and even though the place was busy when we arrived, service was fast, friendly, and on point. Thankfully, there wasn't a line (even though I saw in the comments it can get packed), so we got lucky. Our order was ready in about 10 minutes. The menudo was absolutely worth it--rich flavor, great portion, and exactly what I was hoping for. Coming from Sacramento, this spot definitely lived up to the hype. My friend really liked the waffle combo too; solid all around. If you're in Vegas and looking for a good breakfast spot, especially if you're craving menudo, this place is definitely worth checking out.

Ely's was suggested to us by some friends. This place is not fancy at all. It is a very comfortable down home sort of spot. I feel like this is a place that mostly locals know and not so much the tourist. They have Menudo on the weekends. They have almonds of all kinds. They have lots of different kinds of pancakes with all different amazing kinds of toppings. They also have steak and eggs. Really, you can't go wrong eating any of the entrées here. Everything looks so good. The servers were very polite. The restaurant was clean. They were very patient with our group as well as we were a slightly large one and had a lot of different orders being put in. It was a really nice pleasant breakfast there. And I love all the little breakfast decorations on the walls. Super cute.

Ely's on Trop had that fire menudo!! No hominy, and we would have LOVED some hominy in it BUT otherwise it was fire!! The cafe de Olla was on point too!! Great customer service!!

    Tostadas de tinga deliciosas!!

It was my first time at this place, and the service was top-notch from the moment I walked in until I left! Dalia took excellent care of us, and the food is delicious! I will definitely be back.

Located on Tropicana and Eastern right next to Aladdin supermarket you'll find this amazing little gem. We arrived about 8:05 AM were greeted promptly as a nice hometown ambience field to it. But the food speaks for itself the Chilaquiles were made to perfection with two eggs and Carne Asada and green sauce would definitely go back highly recommend and the waffle wasn't bad either lol

This food is made with love. We came here on our way home from Las Vegas and we sat there and talked about how much it reminded us of family gatherings. The service is beyond amazing. And the restaurant feels like home. The chef deserves a Michelin star and their own show on food network!!!! Beautiful food and beautiful place.

The staff is extremely nice there's so many options so this is a perfect place for family because there's something for everyone here with that being said because there's so many options they're not specialize in anything so their food is just average it's not bad but it's not the best. That is why I'm giving it three stars just because the food is not the best tasting. But the prices are really good considering the portions, I did like their Tamarindo drink and their milkshake however their lemonades are just lemon with syrup and it just takes very artificial. So I was not the biggest fan the day that we went it was super busy but we got in super fast the staff is truly amazing I would definitely come here again but it wouldn't be my first pick

Finally stopped by here for all the Social Media hype I've seen. This is a good place, lots of options on the menu, we'll have to go back to try more of the menu, since there are so many options. We ordered the Ely's Mega Plate, it came with bacon cheese fries, buffalo chicken tenders and a bacon cheeseburger. The fries were really good, the burger was cooked well, the tenders were a little vinegary, but all in all alot of food. The steak chilaquiles were good, but the chile verde sauce was a bit too much regarding the lemon taste and I like lemons, but just too much, the meal was good and again, lots of food, and then we ordered the menudo, the part I really liked was they ask you if you want hominy or not, I'm a hominy person, so we ordered the medium size, wish they had the option of a cup, but the menudo was delicious, definitely I'll order this again. So, all together, our takeaway was we will be back to try the rest of their menu and the menudo is a return for item :) Their pancakes and waffles all looked really good and as long as the food continues on the positive trajectory, we'll be back for their vast options!!

Ambience was great Server was amazing on top of everything and gave us great recommendations Food was delish So many great options with amazing prices

Our server was amazing. He was on top of everything and it felt like he res our minds. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches and they were delicious. The best item was their Abuelitas French toast. The portion was great and it was very flavorful. I'd come back just for the french toast and cafe de olla

Is there any entree that is gluten free here? Does this restaurant use a shared fryer for things like battered chicken that would cross contaminate foods like gluten free home fries? I have Celiac disease and have to eat gluten free.

I had a major craving for a smash burger and had recently seen this place on social media. So,…read moredecided to try the place out. For some reason, I thought this place was near Downtown--I thoroughly deserved being slapped with the reality of a 30 minute drive given my lack of preparation. The restaurant is out near Henderson basically, in a slightly sketchy looking area that I'm not entirely sure I'd feel comfortable venturing to at night. The staff at the restaurant seemed to all be young kids (college aged), and they were pretty nice and helpful with explaining the menu. There was no one else in the restaurant even though I came around 6pm. A single burger and side of fries cost me nearly $20 after tax and a small tip--although I don't know how I feel tipping for fast food... The fries were pretty good, the beef tallow and coarse salt were what really sold me on the fries. The sauce was also good--it's similar to what you might get at a famous chicken fingers fast food joint. Without these things, the fries looked (and tasted) like standard frozen food distributor fries. The bun was good and the patty was perfectly smashed. The onions weren't actually caramelized though. If I have to be honest, I finished the burger feeling unsatisfied. It was good enough that I considered purchasing another one...but then I remembered the price tag. (Who can afford or sensibly want to spend $10-12 on an underwhelming fast food burger in this economy?) Not worth the hype, the drive, or the money.

We stopped in for the first time last week and had such a great time that we came back again, this time specifically for Taco Tuesday. When you have great bartenders, you're going to get great drinks. Smooth, balanced, and some of those rum drinks definitely sneak up on you. Shoutout to Hunter & Stephen for taking such good care of us. Now to the food - amazingly flavorful, well executed, and best described as comfort classics with some fun Asian & island bites. So far we're obsessed with the meaty and saucy beef & pork skewers, authentic LA street dog, and the Taco Tuesday special: puffy tacos. Just wow! The kitchen here does not mess around. Here's why we're coming back: fabulous cocktails, genuinely good food, great music, a cozy nautical theme, and inviting vibe all the way around. I'm also impressed by how well the AC works (especially for such an old building), and it doesn't have that ashtray smell at all. There are a number of booths if you don't want to sit at the bar and we will be back soon for their Taco Tuesday special. Thank you for the warm hospitality.
