Came to grab some drinks at Santa Monica Brew Works, and Emma Squared Pizza is connected with them. Easy to order food and have it brought out to your table. We were with a large group so ordered a bunch of different pizzas and appetizers to share. First off, deep dish pizza is always delicious. Very hard to go wrong, and they did the pizza so right. They have such a wide selection, and I wish I remembered the name of what we ordered. But there was a hot honey one that was delicious as well as an incredible mushroom one and, of course, the classic pepperoni. Plus they vegan pizzas, which are also great for people who can't have dairy. Their fries and chopped Italian salad were also the big winners. The big downside is the price - definitely more expensive at about 25-30/pizza. So just something to be aware of if you order. Overall, though, delicious pizza that goes perfectly with a fresh beer at the neighboring brewery.

Oh. My. Gosh. This Emmy pizza was to DIE FOR. I already can't wait to come back! We came for a friends birthday and forgot cake so we ordered 4 orders of brownie and they made it into a cake for us and even gave us candles, shout out to Bridget from their staff she even lent us a lighter! Made our day!!! But seriously this pizza was so amazing, come hungry this place serves vibes and good food!

Emmy Squared Pizza is located near Santa Monica Brew Works, and this is the nearest bite that can be ordered by QR Code. It is neatly organized so that it is brought directly to your table at a reasonable cost. Between the Matt Burger, Fried Chicken, and fries, I have to admit that the food in general was fairly salty. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of chicken, though.

Guys - got the Bodega Burger... best burger of my life I'm not just saying that. It's like a smashed burger, melted with cheese, so good. It was 10/10. It took probably 25 minutes and we came too close to closing time, but it was well worth the wait and worth $25 with tip and a small drink. Would come back. So good.

MVP Pizza (Marianna, Vodka, and Pesto sauces)

I recently met up with a friend at Santa Monica Brew Works and we decided to try Emmy's Squares Pizza. Each of us tried a different type, I had the MVP (which was not bad). The service was fast and they bring it out to your table if you use the QR code to order, the ambiance isn't bad, but it's chilly if you sit outside these days! The pizza had a nice flavor to it, I always love a good mixture of marinara and vodka sauce, especially with a pesto drizzle - so it's not surprising. However, at about $25 per personal pizza (only way they sell it) it's really not worth it at all. I don't think this is a bad choice if you're craving pizza and already at Santa Monica Brew Works, otherwise I would try one of the other amazing pizza spots on the Westside or elsewhere in LA. Pizza is solid. After a long day of work this gooey, cheesy wonder hit the spot. Crust is nice and crispy. Peppers were overpowering and the honey was just right. 5/5. Getting again when I travel back.

Emmy Squared makes incredible Detroit-style pizza. The crispy, caramelized crust pairs perfectly with a craft beer from Santa Monica Brew Works. Their Margherita pizza is a standout--simple, fresh, and full of flavor with mozzarella, basil, and a rich tomato sauce. The laid-back atmosphere and great service make it an easy favorite. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit.

Nashville Hot Chicken pizza ordering via phone

Food: EXCELLENT. The pizza options were wide and the options for adding to your pizza were decent. I really enjoyed the Nashville hot chicken pizza - the pizza was absolutely worth the money, filling with enough left over for a quick snack, fresh, soft and delicious!!! Service: fast and direct to the table you order from in a to go box. No complaints here. Ambiance: Love the outdoor patio attached to the Santa Monica Brew works. This makes the entire establishment a great place to go relax and chill and have some delicious pizza and beer or wine. Can't wait to return!

Eggplant sliders and waffle fries. Very good. June 2025

Return visit. Have had pizza and these eggplant sliders. Great food. Updating to 5 stars because coupled with Santa Monica Breworks it's a good pairing. Captive audience. Sliders were very good. Enjoyed immensely. For the price of their offerings I was surprised there was not alternate dips included. Ketchup is simple(for the fries), A flavorful ranch or flavored ketchup would go a long way.

First time here, at the brand new LA Live location across from The Crypt. Positive experience overall - they made my pizza well done, like actually burnt well done - Bravo ! The 6 slice pizzas are enough for 2 people . Service was right on point and ambience decent - its in the old Lawry's and not much was changed. Only thing is they need a smaller side salad on the menu . Only two $ 20 entree sized salads on the menu but otherwise I'll return !

    The Emmy!

I came back on a crazy busy Friday night just for The Emmy Pizza, and it was every bit as amazing as I remembered. That crispy-edged Detroit-style crust, the perfect layer of sauce, and the blend of cheeses that somehow stay light but flavorful, it's pure magic. Even with the Friday night rush, the service was spot-on. The staff kept the line moving, tables spotless, and still made everyone feel welcome, that friendly "where everybody knows your name" neighborhood vibe you can only get from a truly local spot. I stuck with my usual tradition, pairing great pizza with a cold local brew (because beer deserves its pairing moment too!). There's just something about a pint from Santa Monica Brew Works and a slice of The Emmy that hits all the right notes. If you're debating whether it's worth the trip, it absolutely is. Emmy's Square Pizza has the food, the energy, and the heart that keeps you coming back.

The pizza here is undoubtedly fantastic. I didn't realize they were deep dish, which I am not usually a fan of (go thin crust!), but this was truly stellar. All the ingredients were on point, even the sauces (coriander ranch, anyone?) were pretty tasty. My only gripe is that there is an 18% service charge automatically added to your order. The way I feel about this business model is the same way I feel about hidden hotel "amenity fees" or cell phone "service fees", it sucks. As a customer, I'd prefer that the restaurant simply increased the prices so I know how much I'm paying. Nonetheless, the food was good. And if you pair it with a cold one from the Santa Monica Brew Works next door, it's perfect for a bite after work with friends.

Emmy doesn't miss once again, tried the colony pizza and it's great, amazing flavors on a Detroit style pizza pie. Tried the side of fried chicken and it delivered! Always a fan of Emmy Squared!

The back patio is especially lovely; modern yet cozy, with thoughtful decor. The food blends California-fresh ingredients with Turkish and Middle Eastern flair. I especially enjoy the zucchini fritters and sausage patties, and the chicken mango salad is excellent as well. The drink menu is equally fun, with a unique variety of milks like pistachio and walnut, paired with creative beverage options. I was seated outside with a view of a busy road intersection, which made for nice people watching. The menu didn't have any stand-out dishes that you couldn't find at any other brunch place and there were barely any savory vegetarian options. I went with the Napa scramble. The scramble itself was very heavy on the spinach and light on the sun-dried tomatoes, which made for a not great texture and duller flavor. I did appreciate the bites with the creamy, tangy goat cheese. The toast was just ok and the strawberry jam it came with was very runny. I did enjoy the fresh greens on the side that were lightly dressed.

A little on the watery side. Chicken bites came out in about 15 minutes. The coating had a very satisfying crunch, very saucy, but fell off the chicken easily and was a bit salty. This is a messy dish for sure. You will get your hands dirty! Chorizo Benedict came out about 30 minutes after order. Not great honestly. Portion size was generous. The eggs were poached decently, still runny, but the chorizo itself was bland and rather dry. The potatoes were room temperature. The bread a bit too chewy. Not AT ALL spicy. Super light on the pico de gallo. The service was rather slow for not being very busy. They didn't appear to be understaffed either. The location itself is cozy and not too loud, which is nice! Short walk from down town. The staff was kind, but boy were they slow. From being seated to paying for my meal was well over an hour! Automatic 2.5% "service fee" total was $46.50 before tip. I don't think I'll be returning unfortunately. The search for a good Benedict in LA area continues!

This place is charming and we got sat indoors overlooking the pool. It really felt like I was in another city somewhere. The servers and hosts were very attentive and very helpful answering any questions. Everything everyone ate look absolutely fantastic. Drinks: sunset spritz was a wonderful spin on the classic aperol but it had Vodka in it so it gave it an extra kick, but did not taste boozy. I also had the cucumber marg and our server asked me if I would like some Jalapeno slices in it and it really elevated the whole experience. Apps: the PEI mussels were beautifully arranged and the curry sauce that it in was very flavorful. I highly recommend this as a starter. The steak tartar was a whole show, the server walked out with a glass case that was ultra smoky, which they opened in front of you. It was a dinner and a show!! The tartar was very delicious. If you're a tartar fan, you have to get this. Wedge salad deserves it's only paragraph! It was huge, the pecans were a nice touch. I am not a fan of blue cheese dressing but it was not at all over powering. It was absolutely incredible. Mains: we ordered the branzino and these short ribs and both were cooked to perfection. The branzino had a perfect char to the skin and the server recommended the short ribs with mashed potatoes versus what it comes with which was shave carrots. The majority of the food and drinks were on special that ended 6 p m. If you do go I highly recommend going before 6. You can also valet your car and it's also discounted if you're there 2 hours or less. I will absolutely be coming back for happy hour again. Maybe even brunch!
