Honestly not good burgers at all. The service was ok a little bit too rush but we ordered the "buffalo patty" which was $3 extra and honestly it taste like nothing. Just a regular burger and super greasy too!! I think mc Donalds would be better lol. The fries were whatever also and the onion rings were ok but I would like them more crispy. We stopped here on a recommendation from the hot tub - and Empire Burger did not disappoint. Great prices, tasty food, and a fine beer selection. We ordered some of the cheese fries along with a couple side dips and they were both fantastic - really enjoyed the wasabi mayo and highly recommend. By aware that at dinner time this place gets absolutely packed. I wound up docking a star from my review because the restaurant was cramped, and the frantic pace translated into our server rushing us out which I am always disappointed by. My family went to Breckinridge on a short holiday. We found Empire Burger. I am glad we did. The hamburgers were very good. We were hungary and service was excellent. Okay. Let me start with the margarita situation. $9.5 for a margarita, I was hoping for something with a zing...and dang, this place delivered. I ordered the Mercadito, crossing my fingers that it would ACTUALLY be spicy. I can't count how many times I've ordered a spicy/jalapeño margarita that hardly had a Chili pepper flavor, let alone spice. This was one of the tastiest, strongest, spiciest margaritas I've ever been served. To be honest, it didn't look like much - the cilantro garnish had seen better days. However, this isn't something I care about as long as the drink delivers in all other aspects. The food was good - their chicken tenders were delicious, their burger was tasty. They even have a plethora of sauces to choose from! The ranch, I think it was spicy, was delicious. The tater tots and fries weren't the best I've ever had, but they hit the spot. I was prospered for everything to cost quite a bit more in Breckenridge and this spot provided the best value we found all weekend. The cheeseburger with a buffalo patty knocked my socks off. Decided to come here as we heard the burgers were the best in breck. The burgers are fine. Nothing above average and they do not come with a side. Fries are extra, and oh if you want a dipping sauce, expect to pay for that too. But the service is the cherry on top. Our waiter Caroline was extremely rude. She was not friendly whatsoever and acted as if she couldn't care less about us being there. Ruined the experience for everyone and I have now read multiple reviews stating how poor the service is. Her service was reflected in her tip which then she decided to make a comment to us about it. Poor service = poor tip. Do better. Delicious and a very casual place so it's easy to hang out, watch games, and chill. We sat at the bar and had a great time. There isn't a ton of room in this place and it's pretty no frills, but it's cozy and the food is very good. I had a Guac Bacon Burger - it was perfectly cooked and so good (locally sourced meat and everything is so fresh). I'm really picky about my onion rings and don't like it when it's too bready and this was perfect. There are so many sauces to choose from and that definitely takes it over the top as well. I've come to Empire on a number of different stops through Breckenridge for a good reason. They have good burgers and great dipping sauces for their fries. My favorite dipping sauces include the curry ketchup and the parmesan peppercorn. This time I wanted to something different than a burger so I ordered the Baja fish tacos on our waitress' recommendations. I was thoroughly impressed. The fish wasn't deep fried like I've had at other places and was tender and flaky like fish should be. It held its own when it came to flavor too. I loved their Baja fish tacos so much I started looking up fish taco recipes to see if I could eventually make it at home. I still haven't made them but instead we went back a couple days later to Empire and I ordered them again. Hubs ordered one of the burgers and thought it tasted just like it always does. Expectation: EXCEEDED! Walked in on a busy Saturday afternoon and was seated immediately for 2 (larger groups may have had a wait) by a kind gentleman with a nifty headband. Our server greeted us promptly with an upbeat demeanor that consisted during our time there. The impossible burgers were phenomenal, the dipping sauces were delicious. Was an hour wait for our party of 11 on a Wednesday night, but the table was still not ready after an hour. We ended up breaking our party into two 4 tops and a 3 top. Ordering was delayed because our server couldn't get to our table. For some reason our tables food took forever to come out. By the time it did come out our other two tables already finished eating and paid out. We were missing one of our sauces and had to ask another random server that was walking by to help us. On a recent trip, I got the mercadito margarita & it was one of the best Ive ever had. We split the zucchini & it was as good as I remembered. I got the wedge salad. An absolute bargain at $10, it was wverything a wedge salad should be. My son got the blt & it was HUGE. He took 1/2 home. I swear there was a half pound of bacon on it. So glad we found Empire! We were doing the tourist/skiing thing in Breckenridge and found this place. They were pretty crowded on a Saturday night, but we got in and got seated with no problems. I can't remember our server's name, but he was great. There were about 7 of us and he did a great job. We ordered many different burgers and they came out in a reasonable amount of time. They were very tasty and VERY messy! I had the bison bacon burger and was very impressed. Everyone at our table seemed happy with what they ordered. Such a great place! We are visiting and decided to give it a try. The servers were really nice and they were efficient with seating a large group of us. The food came out quickly and was so good!
