The consistency is perfect - not too thick you can't suck it through the straw, but viscous enough to feel hearty like a milkshake should. Also got the red chili burger, wedge salad, and onion rings with jalapeño ranch dipping sauce. All were good, but nothing to write home about. Amazing burgers!! We had the Western Burger and Mushroom burger, both excellent. Full of flavor without being too much. The onion rings were amazing, fried in the perfect amount of batter, and all the handmade sauces we tried paired perfectly with everything we ate (jalapeño ranch and sweet mango chutney)! On top of it all our server, Ryan, was very attentive and upon finding out it was our first time there, gave us a rundown of the menu, recommendations for food/sauces etc, and constantly checked in on us. I've got one word for Empire Burger - Sauce. Sauce sauce sauce. Yum. The sauces here are freaking incredible! It adds to the experience when ordering fries and a burger. I've tried a lot of sauce in my day, and I rank the Empire Burger sauces in the following order of awesomeness: 1.) Sweet Mango Chutney - just do it and don't look back. This is the best sauce, hands down. 2.) Jalapeno Ranch - love the combination on this one... delishhhh in my mouth. 3.) Mexican Ketchup - this goes great with those tasty fries. 4.) First time eating here and I'd come back. Seated promptly by our server so no waiting on service either. We ordered the Trailer Tots as an appetizer, one Green Chile burger and a Kona burger. We also order drinks, a Silver House margarita and a Smash Passion Fruit beer. The Trailer Tots are so delicious and worth every calorie. I will say that something smothered in queso should NOT be served in a dish lined with paper. No one wants to eat paper. The Green Chile burger was served bunless with plenty of veggies (tomatoes, raw red onion and pickles) on a plate. It was okay flavor wise, I was expecting more flavor and heat from the green chiles. The hatch green chiles on their own were watery and devoid of any flavor. The meat patty was good but fella apart in both burgers. The Kona burger was so good. The flavor combination from the ham, pineapple and firecracker sauce was well rounded. The Silver House Margarita was smooth and easy to drink. Maybe too easy, I could see someone knocking back a few and then realizing perhaps that was too much. They could lighten up on the ice though. The Smash Passion Fruit beer was a nice wheat beer with mild flavor. Service was excellent and quick. We ate outside but inside looked well kept as did the outside table. Most places don't really clean their outside tables, yes even "during the time of covid". I'd definitely come back but I'd pass on the Green Chile burger. read more

My burger was not evenly cooked, but I was getting full anyway. The kettle chips are probably the best I've ever had. All too common they are hard as rocks. These were just perfect. The onion rings were ok, but the jalapeno ranch dip was really good. The chicken fingers were actual chicken and do come with fries. The club sandwich is big and my 2 year old was a fan of it. Unfortunately the seating is cramped. My 2 year old is not lanky by any means and he could grab the person at the next table. It also is pretty loud inside when they are busy. Decent place. Our group of 6 showed up on a Friday night around 630 pm and while the place was hopping, we were still seated within 20 minutes at a communal table in the bar. The menu is comprised of mostly burgers. All sides are ala cart, which is kind of annoying, but completely worth it to order. Fries and onion rings are served with your choice of housemade sauces. The garlic mayo and BBQ ranch were my personal favorites. All burgers are cooked diner style with 1/3 lb of meat. There is a $3 upcharge for ground bison. read more

Thursday night 7:15, we decided to leave the 20 min wait at the place on Ridge and Hwy 9 and walk over here. Our name can be first on the list for inside or get outside right away. Sun is setting behind Peak 8, we can hear a woman singing Janis Joplin live. Service is prompt, we get waters, silverware and our drink order right away. They have the barcode you scan with your phone to get menus. Mgr comes by to check on us. Waiter comes with my big draft beer and my dad's Old Fashioned with Bacon. Dad orders the Bacon Cheese Burger and I get the Classic Club and we split Onion Rings. Food is brought out in about 4 mins by a food server not our waiter. He has to go back for ketchup for the rings. Dad likes the burger which is pretty big and the Club is on wheat bread not toast with lots of mayo. Check the menu and that is what it says so OK. Rings are the best I've had in a while. Obviously fresh cut and crispy battered in-house... onion does not pull out of the batter. Waiter refills the waters and asks if we want another round of drinks. $46 before tip. He does the bill on a CC swiper at the table, 8pm. read more

Stopped by here after a good hike. Great location- right near the middle of town. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Food was really fast, got in within 15 minutes of ordering. I got the classic burger with an order of fries. The fries were pretty good. I like my fries cooked more on the crispy side which is how they were! The burger: AMAZING. The patty was very juicy and not too thick. Cooked medium which was perfect! Toppings were very fresh and the bun made the burger even more perfect! Bathroom was fairly clean, restaurant itself was very clean from what I could tell. They have plenty of TVs and a great bar. We had mozzarella sticks for an appetizer, I had the green chili burger with fries-seriously the BEST burger I've had that I can remember. The fries were Home cut and you get to choose a dipping sauce-I chose jalapeño ranch, also amazing! My husband ordered the double cheeseburger and couldn't finish it, kids both ordered cheeseburgers. Loved this place ! I got a vanilla malt milk shake that was delicious ! I ordered the Philly cheese steak with cheese wiz O M G! YUM!!! Didn't even want to share or let anyone take a bite of my delicious heaven in my hands ! My husband got a cheese burger with an egg and fries it was delicious too but nothing like my cheese steak.
