This is a nice little cute place for pizza. I came here after reading all the great reviews this place has and it definitely lived up to the hype! My favorite is the white pizza since I don't like tomato based foods so I'm glad they have that option. They heat up the pizza you order so mine was really really hot when I got it. I probably should have waited a couple minutes to let it cool down but I went straight for it! Great neighborhood family pizza spot. When I walked in I noticed that the place was very clean and bright and will lit. They have like a pizza bar where you can choose pizza by the slice or you can order off the menu and have a whole pizza made for you however you like. I chose the barbecue chicken pizza today and it was amazing. I also wanted to try their buffalo chicken loaded fries. It's took a little while for my fries to come out but it was a very large order the three people could share. I will definitely be back to try some other things off the menu! read more

Went a couple of weeks ago because I just didn't want to make dinner. The guys behind the counter were super helpful and nice to me even though it was about an hour before close, and offered good pizza suggestions since I had no clue what to get. I ended up getting a slice of the margherita, fat bastard, and bbq chicken and paid $11.22. Seeing as the slices are from already made pizzas and they just heat it in the oven, I was not expecting anything exciting. I am so happy I was wrong, it was so good, and I honestly ended up being that annoying person that kept bringing up "the pizza I ate from this cool place by my house" in conversations for about 2 days straight. The shop itself is kind of small but I liked it and it's right across from the HEB and next to the Starbucks. So if you're looking for a quick study break with more substance than a Starbucks sandwich or don't feel like cooking any of the groceries you just bought (I know I'm not the only person that does this), this is the place to go! read more

Place is legit! Worth the extra couple of bucks! And they deliver! Ordered a Italian sausage and mushroom pizza, and the special fries, got it within 25min. Crust is thin and crunchy, quality cheese, good sauce. Best of all, still good when cold. The fries, good for 3-4 people. 1 person, to much (quantity) to look appetizing. However after the bomb pizza, very little would look appetizing. But was still tasty 2 days later, at 2:30am. read more

I was here I was here about a couple of months ago and I really really love the Muslim friendly options that they have. They have no pork alternative so you can enjoy your favorite slice of pizza like ham and pineapple and then not actually be ham I think that's cool. The pizza is pretty good but the star of the show are those garlic knots. The garlic knots are the best I've had in Houston. I took off one star because they don't have prices posted so you have to ask if your curious. I appreciate a little more transparency. Other than that I have nothing bad to say about this place. Pizza here sucked. Worst than boxed pizza at the groceries. Idk if it was because we came late like an hour before closing, but even the service made me not want to come back. My boyfriend asked for it to get heated up and we waited nearly 5-10min bc one of the worker was too busy talking to a GNC lady next door. Today was my first time experiencing Empire Pizza. I found this place picking up a order for Amazon Flex. When I came back today, the first face you meet walking in is one of the owners Jordan greeting all the customers with a smile. I had the task of getting the food for girls night. Thankfully Peace and Sarah were there to give me suggestions. This location has a awesome variety of choices that you can't get at your normal pizza joint. I ordered the BBQ Chicken, & the Buffalo Chicken Pizza, & the Vegetable Pizza for the vegans. We also got the Zeppoles with Nutella on the side & a dessert pizza with Cinnamon Toast Crunch. It was ok. They have a variety of pizzas on display that you can buy by the slice, so since there were 4 of us in our party we opted for that. So they just heat up ur slice like at Sbarro at the mall. I also ordered some Garlic Knotts and they were so greasy the butter dripped and created a small pool of butter on my plate. Way too much butter, and i love butter but this was too much. So my advice, stay away from the greasy garlic Knotts and opt for a fresh made pizza. It might be better than the pre made. The pizza is awesome but do not get anything else that is fried. They haven't figured out how to ventilate the food so by the time it is delivered it is soggy. We've order the chicken tenders and calamari...both soggy. Also, do not get the calamari...very chewy, fishy, and oddly shaped (like it's cut up and processed or something). Pizza is better than any delivery you will find ! I like that they take cash as well for delivery. I have tried the meatball sub and it is yummy and cheesy. The pizza is great. Have been in a few times so far and sampled the following slices: Cheese Sicilian Tomato & Basil Eggplant Rollatini White pizza Fat pizza. All were great but the Fat pizza was a little too 'bust' for me. Their crust is thin and crisp but not cardboard-like or brittle. The sauce has a fresh taste and the white pizza was extremely tasty. If you have never had Sicilian, it is a rectangular pan pizza with crust/bread about 3/4 inch thick with sauce and cheese on top. It is not like Neapolitan (round) flat pizza not like Chicago deep dish. The eggplant pizza has pieces of lightly battered and fried eggplant baked into the parmesan and mozzarella cheese on top of the pie. Eggplant pizza is very hard to find outside the NY area and it is nearly impossible to find it done well - until now!!! After the pizza sampling it is hard to find room for dessert but taking cannoli (and leaving the gun) for later is a great alternative - and one you won't regret when you try the cannoli. read more

Hands down the best Pizza place I've ever been to. I got to meet the owner and his two sons who help run the business. Their staff is awesome and friendly, and definitely will be coming back again soon. It's a New York Style Pizza Joint, so the bring your appetite because the portions are huge, prices are great and well worth it. Wonderful owners and wonderful pizza. The service was so great. We came in on Easter and the brothers who own it were working. They explained all of the different pizzas and where they are from. We decided to give Empire another shot at the taste buds because really this place had the potential of having really good pizza if they eased back on the salt in the sauce (you can read my previous review below for all the details). Let me also add that I love salt! Just wanted to clear up I'm not one of those people who think there's too much salt in everything, I'm the exact opposite. But enough about the past let me tell you about the present. So, I ordered basically the same thing 2 slices with extra cheese & green peppers and 2 Sicilian slices with extra cheese and pepperoni. When my name was called to pick up my order I was asked if I was the Sandy that had written the Yelp review about the sauce being too salty. Yep, that's me. I was then told something that took me off guard which is a rarity. Wait for it...... okay, I was told we read your review and wanted to let you know that we started making the sauce with less salt in it ( I'm pretty sure I had a am I in the twilight zone look on my face). I'm not positive because I was stunned , but I think I was even thanked for my review. Did I actually find a business that cares enough about their reviewers opinions to consider making recommended changes? I did! Am I adding 1 star to my previous 3 star review for excellent customer service & 1 star for the change in the sauce that ended my 7 year pizza search? I am! Will I be ordering all my pizza from Empire Pizza & telling family & friends to do the same? I will! P.S. Fellow Yelpers if you don't get Zeppoles you are only punishing yourself! This place is going to Win!!! It's a brand new pizza parlor located right by HEB. This is my 2nd time going there, and each time I have truly been satisfied. I not only get good customer service when I go in and get my pizza, but I also receive it on the phone. Andre is great!!! Everyone needs to come and support these guys because they are awesome!! The food here is decent, but the customer service is atrocious. Always an issue. Don't worry about speaking to anyone about the ridiculously long delivery times or cold food because it's a "family establishment" and your request will be left at that. I wish I could continue to support since it's a small business, but their unprofessionalism and apparent lack of time management skills (1.5 hour wait for a single pizza, and I never got it) is very disappointing. I had to cancel my order because it took so long and I just ordered from another restaurant. I've patronized them before and received cold food a few times, but their attitude this evening in addition to everything else is just too much. read more

I'm so disappointed in this place after finding it in yelp and it having 4.5 stars. First let me start with our appetizers. The wing "bites" are $7 and there's a TINY proportion. BUT I will say they were the best thing we had there. The sauce they put on them were the perfect medium buffalo flavor. The garlic knots were eh. Maybe because they're rewarmed instead of fresh. I wouldn't order them again but they weren't terrible. The marinara sauce served with them taste like it's from a can and lacks flavor. Now the pizza. I got the white pie. For a pizza with 3 cheeses you would think it'd be delicious. It was very very bland. It needed seasoning. My husband ordered a deep dish meat lovers slice. If you ever had a real deep dish, you know there's a lot of toppings that fill the "deep" pizza with higher crust. This was all bread and toppings on top. The meat was bland and dry (again probably from being reheated). I wouldn't go back or recommend this place. The only reason it gets a second star is because the atmosphere was cool and the workers there were really friendly and helpful. read more
